Custom Cleaners

I have been taking our dry cleaning to this establishment for 2 years now and have never had an issue UNTIL they lost one of my husband’s shirts. When my husband first noticed the shirt was missing, I advised the owner and she immediately became defensive advising that the number of shirts we were given matched the number we brought in. I took in a photo of the shirt missing since I recently purchased it ($ 100) and they were very quick to dismiss it. My husband then looked through the shirts we received from the cleaners and realized the cleaners put someone else’s shirt in with ours (it clearly had another name on the shirt). I immediately took the shirt back to them proving that we were in fact missing one of our shirts and to my surprise they were quick to dismiss it saying that the shirt I returned was not one of their customers. I couldn’t believe it. And to make matters worse the next time I went in to pick up our cleaning — the first thing she did was to tell me that she remembered she asked me if that shirt was mine and I said yes. Are you kidding me?
I guess you never truly know the value of any service provider until there is an issue and more importantly how they handle it.
I will never take my cleaning there again and I hope others will think twice before taking their cleaning here. Again — this was entirely about how they handled the situation.
