FASTFRAME San Anselmo, offers quality picture framing craftsmanship to consumers, art collectors, interior designers and commercial clients. We have experience in all forms of custom framing including photography framing, 3-​D shadow box framing, originals, posters, mirrors, certificates, and diplomas.

Our creative professionals are here to help guide you in choosing the layout, matting and framing to complement your artwork and turn your mementos into treasures you will be proud to display. History

Established in 1990.

FASTFRAME of San Anselmo was started by Jim Stroupe in 1990. Jim hired Jessica Carlson in 1992. Jessica became his master framer and then store manager.

When Mr. Stroupe was looking to retire, Jessica purchased FASTFRAME of San Anselmo.

I had an excellent experience at Fast Frame. I have limited framing experience and was unsure of what would look best. Jess was very helpful showing me options and offering her professional advice. Overall, it was an easy, pleasant experience and my painting looks awesome!

My wife and I were attending a wedding a few weeks ago and wanted to bring a special gift. We had a picture of the bride and groom’s actual first kiss (from New Year’s Eve) and we thought it would be nice to frame it for them.
Sounds easy, right? Sure, except we thought of this one day before we had to leave for the wedding!
FastFrame to the rescue! We took the picture in to the store and asked if it was possible to get it framed ASAP. The owner, Jess, was super nice and was happy to accommodate us. The picture and frame were just spectacular. And best of all, the bride and groom loved it.
I’m giving FastFrame a 5-​start rating because their customer service was great and they did a wonderful job in a really short amount of time.

Having known Jess the owner for a number of years I feel confident in giving this establishment the highest rating. She has always treated my art objects with the utmost regard and creativity. She is often able to suggest color combinations and product which enhances the item in a manner I would have never considered. I find the prices to be reasonable and her punctuality and responsible manner goes with out saying. A visit to Fast Frame, whether dropping off or picking up, is an experience I always look forward to. Her finished work, be it framing or art object display, gives the appearance of museum quality that often is complimented.

I had some difficult to frame projects — old posters and art prints from the 1970s and 80s that had been in tubes for years. I was amazed by the job FF did. Not only were the pieces perfectly matted, but on one they were able to use the matting to disguise some discoloration. The frames themselves were perfect, and look great. I’ve gotten compliments both on the contents of the frames, and the frames themselves, since I hung the pieces last year.

The owner did a great job on my artwork and offered special discounts if I brought in more pieces. It’s nice to have this unassuming location to suit my framing needs. I would ask you to talk to Fast Frame rather than going anywhere else.

Good selection of frames. Good job done on my artwork. So, how do I rate thee?
I had a standard 11×14 photo matted, and signed by the artist. Brought it to 2 places in town and this place had the best frames to choose from. But the cost, or sticker shock, made me stutter and forget stuff like looking both ways when crossing the street after temporary memory paralysis. (not pretty)
I know one must spend money to have anything custom framed these days, but ouch! $ 136.00 to frame an 11×14! I begged for a discount and it went down to $ 127. Swell.
But, the service and quality are what counts if you go for custom jobs. A-​OK for me.
