Specialties
For Chef Erin, the Dixie’s on Grand menu is personal. The fried chicken is his grandmother’s recipe and his gumbo won him a gold medal at the 2008 Louisiana Gumbo Cook-Off. The catfish, red beans and rice, corn maque choux, and jambalaya are dishes inspired from the many weekend gatherings of friends and family back home. Chef Erin looks forward to sharing his cooking and Southern hospitality with you!
History
Established in 1985.
Dixie’s on Grand has been sharing the Southern tradition of serving authentic comfort food with warm and gracious hospitality to the Twin Cities for the past 30 years.
In the kitchen, Chef Erin Legé, a Louisiana native straight from cajun country, maintains those traditions by cooking with recipes handed down through generations, his fried chicken and po’ boys are menu favorites that keep our guests coming back again and again!
We offer additional global dining at our Grand Avenue location and invite you to try Emmett’s Public House and Saji-Ya. We’re grateful to be locally owned and active members of the community and look forward to the next 30 years!
