We are Northern California’s premier wedding and commercial photography & videography studio. We specialize in simple but striking photojournalism.

Our award winning staff of photographers and videographers will help create a one of a kind wedding album and wedding video that documents your special day. We also can help with any kind of portrait session including engagement photos, newborn photos, boudoir photos, graduation photos and family portraits.

In addition, we offer commercial photography and video production services including event and fashion photography, real estate photography and videography as well as photos and video for advertising. Our customer service will keep you coming back!

History

Established in 2000.

We started out in the Bay Area and decided to move to Sacramento to build a larger studio. We’ve been doing weddings as well as commercial photography and video ever since!

Nicole is our lead photographer and a graduate of the Academy of Art in San Francisco. We have a full red carpet cinema to view your photos and wedding videos. We invite you to visit our studio so you can experience why we have been the top premier wedding and commercial studio in Northern Ca.

Nicole was our photographer for our wedding on 8÷30÷15 at the Grand Island Mansion. She is very professional but also very fun. This is important given we took so many pictures and it was a big part of our wedding day. Thank you, we are very excited to see our wedding day pictures!

The only thing I truly insisted on in my wedding planning was using Xsight for photography and videography. Nicole is an amazing artist first and foremost, and a hilarious person that can make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I changed my wedding date so that I could work with her. She was able to wrangle babies, toddlers, grouchy family members and clueless guests into what I’m sure will be masterpieces. We also had Carlos help with photography and the fact that he was great company is just a bonus.
The wedding day is such a blur. Everyone tells you this but you don’t really get it until you blink and it’s over. That’s why I’m so happy that Joel was there shooting video for us. Thank you for documenting our wedding so that we can see things we missed and re-​live our favorite moments. I’m also pretty sure that he is responsible for a very classy double windsor knot on my husband’s tie.
Thanks to the whole team for trekking through poison oak, thistles, and who knows what else to get the perfect shot for us! We can’t wait to work with you again in the future.

Amazing!!! 5 stars all around — minus the price. I bought the groupon deal for four sessions while I was pregnant and it was worth it. I had maternity pictures, my daughters 1st bday cake smash, and newborn pictures done so far are they all came out spectacular. The photographers (im sorry I cannot remember their name) both had such an eye for a beautiful shot. I wish I could afford to purchase all the pictures on cd’s to save like most of the other companies I’ve gone to but its just too expensive. We ended up purchasing 7 pictures total for $ 350 on a CD so we can print and frame them ourselves in the future. But you pay for quality — and these are certainly the highest quality pictures we’ve ever had done. Im so thankful for the shots they got.

I had my young children’s photos taken in the Folsom location. The photographer had no concept of working with babies and toddlers. They were referred to as «it» and «that one». The customer service was awful when they realized I was a groupon customer.

I am just updating my review on XSiGHT and my obsession and love for Nicole Sepulveda’s artist creations. She is extremely talented and wonderful to work with. She has been doing all my families portraits for many years now and she just shot my engagement session this past Saturday. The pictures always turn out prefect and every single print always is beautiful. That is what I love about working with Nicole, all of her prints come out great, not just one out of hundred shots. I cannot say enough great things about XSight!!! Nicole shot our family photos and they are by far the best photos out family has ever received. Nicole has an amazing personality and is so easy to work with. But, best of all, she really works with you to make sure that you look GREAT in every photo. Highly recommend!

I bought a GroupOn for this company. I wanted new family photos and didn’t really know anyone in the Sacramento area who could refer us, so I just went with what was offered at a good deal. Always a bit skeptical but hope for the best. We had a great time. Our photographer was friendly and real. She was able to get my husband to open up and smile… which is difficult when taking pictures… When I received the proofs, they were better than I expected and for the deal I was received, I was very happy.
Customer Service was spotty but I was explained it was because they were on location shooting and such so they were not always available to answer emails. (I received a better response with email). Hey, I spent only $ 20, I didn’t expect them to lay out the red carpet for me each and every time I contacted them. I got more than what I paid for in the photography itself and that makes me happy.

We used X sight for our wedding video. Scott and Joel were the videographers at the wedding and they were both amazing. Very professional, experienced and always prompt to respond to any questions we had. When we received the final piece we were blown away by the quality. They were able to capture all of the emotions of our special day. My husband and I will forever cherish our wedding video and all of the memories that it holds!

This place is horrible, customer service is a joke for them. I bought a groupon from them. Because really most people have groupon deals for a reason. And I see why with this place.
No one likes to answer there phones or return phone calls, so I had to resort to wasting my days calling them multiple times till I get an answer. Strike one!
We go in to take pictures, the photographer gives no direction all it is, is they say smile smile… Um ok, so where should I stand, how should I pose? Come on!!!
Now trying to get an appointment to see the pictures Is darn near impossible, again with the answering phone calls. Almost non existent. When I finally get a date to see them (almost a month later, when they said it would take a week), the pictures are horrible. We see they only took 30 pictures and none of them were good, yes people not one. I will say this I was giving them a chance to do my wedding! Nope not at all, customer service is a must people (re evaluate this my friends)

Customer Service Sucked. It took almost a week if not longer for them to respond to any phone messages. They never picked up their phone to answer. We finally got our appointment, only ended up liking 3 out of the 50 photos taken. Our 2nd session we needed a rain check only to get no respinse back for a reschedule. I don’t if it’s because it’s Groupon deal, we are still paying customers. These were engagement photos and they didn’t meet up to our expectations especially after people’s reviews.

I have to admit that when I first saw XSiGHT’s price list I almost passed out. Holy hell… you could buy a cheap car for what their mid-​range photo/​video package costs! But, as with everything in life, you get what you pay for (and honestly they’re not that much pricier than other wedding photogs anyway. Hey, weddings = beau-​coup bucks… apparently I’m in the wrong industry.). So let me repeat… YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! They are the best of the best and you will be absolutely stunned by your engagement portraits, wedding portraits and videos. I can’t tell you how many people have said to me, verbatim, «Those are the most beautiful wedding photos I’ve ever seen» And don’t even get me started on the video short… I swear it came straight out of Hollywood. They captured the essence of our magical day perfectly and everyone who sees it literally tears up. The best part of the whole XSiGHT experience however is working with their team. They’re (obviously) super talented and professional but they’re also fun, funny, friendly, down-​to-​earth folk. I was afraid my rowdy-​ass friends might scare my vendors but Nicole Sepulveda (our photographer) and Joel Sandoval (our videographer) fit right in with their awesome senses of humor and made the event that much more fun. Our wedding was 9 months ago and we still look at the photos/​video all the time. If you only splurge on one thing make it your photos/video…it’s all you’ll have once the big day is over (well, aside from that guy you’re now stuck with for life).

Photographer skills:
Our photographer was Carlos, and he’s a really friendly guy who helped us pose, caught the right lighting and makes us feel really comfortable. He’s also very helpful in answering our questions, and offers to speak to his superior when he can’t answer them. They know their art, after all, they don’t get the KCRA 2013 award for nothing. They also have a plaque of K9 photos, where they donate their hours and time in 2011.
Customer Service:
Initially we had some issues with one of the staff in office, and after the photo viewing session we left the place quietly, unhappy. I end up giving them a 2 star review instead of the 5 stars I wanted to.
After my review, Gail, the owner, took the initiative to call me personally to make amends. We believe her actions supersedes her staff’s action, and we are gratified in her effort in making things right to us, and willing to put in her personal time to make it right to us.
We believe a business entity like XSIGHT who actually make an effort to right a wrong, or to make sure their customers don’t leave with an eternal negative memory is a trustworthy company. Carlos and Gail, thanks for giving us such a nice experience and memory with XSIGHT.

Money well spent! They have been very attentive to my needs every step of the way. Since they only had one chance to take photos, it was important for me to find a studio which had excellent work ethic and proven results. I got all this and more with Xsight.
I love Gail and Nicole!!! These two ladies took the most amazing wedding photos and were a delight to work with. They answered all our questions and even put up with me when I was being meticulous about the photos I wanted to take. They did such a great job at posing us as well as getting awesome candid shots.
Additionally, we did our trash the dress with them. They were fun and made us feel comfortable when taking our sexy shots. I have not seen our trash the dress photos yet, but I can only imagine how picturesque they will be

I got the insanely affordable Groupon deal with Xsight. Our photographer was fun and rolled with with my boyfriend’s sense of humor and a bit of natural awkwardness of getting couple’s photos taken. The results were hilarious photos that portrayed exactly the relationship we share. We ended up buying a package, and the guy who viewed our session with us got such a laugh that I’m sure we got more than we paid for. I can only imagine what you all do with something more «serious» than photos for the fun of it.

We have done our engagement pictures and wedding pictures with xsight’s Nicole and she is amazing. she really gets you to come out of your shell and take great photots. We also had the Video done for our wedding and are so pleased with everything. The pictures brought that day back to life for us and with the video we get to relive it again and again. They truly made it a fairytale wedding for us in capturing amazing moments. Can’t wait to do our trash the dress photos and when we get pregnant and have a family. We have a photographer for life. Love them!

I got the groupon deal for $ 20 bucks — came with one 8×10 print and a CD of (low resolution) images. I’ve never done an outdoor photo session before so I thought oh an hour shouldn’t be that bad. BOY WAS I WRONG! Our photographer was Justin and he was really quick with the camera shots. Smile smile smile smile smile! My face was so tired from smiling that I was certain the pictures were going to come out horrible from all the «fake» smiles. LOL Justin was really funny. He made us laugh a lot and so we got a lot of good candid photos. The prints were really expensive though! I can’t remember how much it was but I remember it was super pricey! As for the photo CD itself, I believe it was $ 500 for the CD with high resolution, touched up photos with no prints.
We just did the Groupon for fun — no special occasion so I didn’t invest in the print packages. I do feel bad because the pictures did come out really really good without even being edited.
Anyways, now that I know how great of a job they do, I’d definitely recommend them to anyone for capturing their special event!

I’m not surprised at these reviews… I would be surprised if they were anything less.
I met Gail DeMarco approx. fifteen years ago. She was shooting photos for a book that she was doing and she shot my ex-​wife and I. Every photo in that book is incredable! Look for Rebels With A Cause by Gail DeMarco.
Long story… short, Gail has joined with Nicole and they have a studio in downtown Sacramento and in the heart of Folsom. I have a natural interest in photography and my current wife found a Groupon deal for XSight’s School and signed me up.
Mostly women in the class but I’m not intimidated easily… I throughly enjoyed the class. They take you through the mechanics of your camera including Aperature, Shutter Speed, F-​stop, etc. so that you have the basic understanding of each function and you can now take your camera off «Auto» and shoot in manual mode. They also cover composition, posing familys, couples, babys, etc. for the portarait type shooting as well as scenery, lighting, angles, horizons, etc.
Let me just add that I’m technology challenged but after their training and explanations and individual «hands on» help… I’m ready to go and feel comfortable with it in manual mode to put it all to practice. This would have been money well spent had my wife paid full price for it and I have Gail and Nicole and the rest of the photographers and staff at XSight Photography to thank for it.
