In 2010, I was diagnosed with cancer. The experience along with the treatments, life changing shifts, numerous prescription pills they prescribed to me, I was no longer myself. Ridden with anxiety and depression I needed to find my place of calm to return to myself. After just 8 months of their meditation programs, I look back at how far they have helped me with my healing path moving forward. Discovering that I am able to heal others around me while I heal myself in the process. I no longer am clouded with depression and anxiety.

I am taking CT Classes and since I started, I feel anxiety and in peace with myself and the world. I learn that we can not change others, but we can change or selves and our path by healing ourselves and changing the perspective of Life en general. Laura and the gang simply ROCK! From their, what I refer to as, «boot camp-​style,» meditation classes, Levels 1 – 3 to their marvelous psychic training program this is really a positive, safe and actively evolving learning environment to get your psychic-​gifts on!
Laura’s approach really works and, unlike other meditation/​psychic-​type schools (see my review of Aesclepion in San Rafael), you folks have NEVER been, in my experience, judgmental or rude to me or anyone else. You’re grounded as well as grounding to be around.

I truly cannot recommend this place enough! i came here on whim. my coworker asked if i wanted to go get a monday night $ 10 psychic reading. sure i replied, thinking it sounded fun. i was surprised to find myself bawling. a deep place i had been ignoring, had light cast on it. at the time i had been going all around town trying to find a meditation practice that suited me. never would i have believed to find it here. i tried the free intro meditation the very next night. and that was it, i was hooked. i began taking step one class. after that, i continued to step 2. then step 3. it just kept feeling right. i have now completed the clairvoyant training program. i would never have believed i would have done such a thing! it has truly changed my life! i love how the schools motto could be. ask yourself. i now have tools that help me get my own information in present time. feeling more grounded and trusting myself. the support and readings of the school, and the students is unmatched. even now that i have graduated and gone exploring other places of spirituality. for me, psychic horizons is the place. no other place rings as true!

I had a 1 hour reading with Randall, and was truly blown away! Randall was very perceptive about my situation and was very good at reading my energy as well as the energy of the guy that I’m interested in. He assessed the situation and assured me that my person of interest is going through a process, and that he is 67% done. Randall really put me at ease and allayed my fears about choosing the right person to enter a relationship with.

I went there on Monday night for a healing and had a wonderful experience. I usually see psychics in a very skeptical light and wouldn’t have gone at all if my friend hadn’t dragged me along, and in retrospect I’m glad that she did. They don’t tell you what to do they simply read into the situation and tell you what they are seeing and give you background information on whatever problem you are confronting. Then they do a 5 minute visualized healing and send you off on your way. All told it takes approximately 20 – 30 minutes to get the reading and healing done. At 10 dollars it is a fantastic price. They obviously do a fantastic job teaching people how to do this stuff correctly. As a result of this I was helped to start navigating my problem. I highly recommend them as a great way to find insight without getting a skewed opinion on what you should do and obtain real healing for yourself in whatever area you need insight into.

For me, the training and tools taught at psychic horizons have been powerful beyond measure. When I found out about the school, I was on the edge of a nervous breakdown. My life was out of control and I had no idea how to cope or manage. I started the Step 1 mediation course and right away noticed a shift in my situation at home and at work. I developed a mediation practice that I could use no matter where I was, (i.e. at home, on the bus, at work, in the park) which allows me to deal with my stuff in present time, rather than stuffing it or avoiding it. Through this school, I learned how to take responsibility for my energy and boundaries. I learned how to ask myself appropriate questions and distinguish between my own information vs. other people’s information.
This month is my 1 year anniversary from graduation the Clairvoyant Training program. When I reflect on the person I was when I started Step 1 and the woman I am now, a warm feeling of validation fills up my space. That broken woman has transformed into a beautiful mosaic that is clear on her purpose and lives life to the fullest. If you have time, please read the church creed. It is something I learned to stand by and own as my own personal belief.
The staff and students at Psychic Horizons are very special. It has been my experience that everyone ends up there at the right time and no matter who you are or what your issues may be, you are welcomed by many warm and caring individuals. It fascinates me how this school is able to create such a safe place for self-​exploration for so many different people. I am forever grateful for the school, staff, and fellow student.
If you are ready to transform your life and heal yourself from past and present issues, this may be just what you need. The training is easy and enjoyable. The staff is very supportive. The community is strong. And there is endless permission for you to work on whatever is appropriate for you. I would also recommend the weekly healing clinics. This is a great way to get information related to a specific question or issue and experience the energetic healing.

Psychic Horizons is the real deal, what an amazing hidden gem in the mission, i never knew that this school had been around for over 30 years! I joined the school wanting to learn how to meditate and understand energy and how to heal myself and the world. After joining the school I learned so many tools that i used them everyday in my life and in my work. The school changes my life in every area, the staff, their integrity, care and attention i received was so inspiring. It’s really silly at this point. It’s easier for me to just delete the emails vs trying to fix the problem. I’ve just never encountered this before. Just wanted to tell others of my annoying experience.

Psychic Horizons is such an awesome place to learn meditation and self-​healing techniques. It’s more than a psychic/​clairvoyant training school.
Psychic Horizons offers an integrated approach to meditation, healing and personal transformation and teaches a comprehensive suite of meditation tools. I found the teachers laid-​back and friendly. I meet some great people whom I can call friends during my time as a student at Psychic Horizons.
I had excellent results from the step classes, which last about 6 months all together. Before I started going to PH, I suffered from back pain, PTSD, and clinical depression. After the step classes, my back pain completely went away! Additionally, I no longer take any prescription medication for any reason… and am a happy and healthy person today. Yay!
The self-​healing tools and meditation techniques I learned at PH helped me turn my life around for the better. I have nothing but good things to stay about PH.

I learned a lot here. I met some wonderful, brilliant and creative people. The time I spent at PH was valuable for me in many ways. I will never forget the place.
In present time, I would neither attend this school, nor teach there, nor recommend it in good conscience to earnest seekers of truth. Still, I invite anyone reading this to visit the place and decide for yourself how you feel about it. My feelings have changed over time, after all. And for you — right now — it may be just your thing.

There are several schools that teach clairvoyance and I have tried a few. While no spiritual teacher has your answers Psychic Horizonshas a great way of supporting your development.

Psychic Horizons is such an amazing healing place. It very straight-​forwardly leads you to recognize what energy is yours and what can be cleaned out, how to do it and simple tools for anyone to use. I liken it to developing any skill like drawing or dancing, it is just working with our energy systems which have not been developed in a systematic way like our physical realities.
The Healing Clinics were my introduction to PH and I have had some really amazing insights read by the clairvoyant students. I highly recommend coming to the clinics to check it out or coming to the free intro meditation class on Tues 7:30.
I am currently taking classes and it is the first time in my life that I have felt I have concrete transformational tools to work with depression and other uncomfortable feelings and patterns that I’ve been able to recognize but not shift.

Psychic Horizons is really a fantastic, grounded, empowering school.
PH is the truly rare example of a place where a person can learn to heal them-​self and others in a neutral and supportive setting.
My first encounter with the school was a Monday night reading. I was highly impressed. The reader seemed to walk a great line of compassion and non-​attachment. So I decided to come back and give the meditation 1 class a shot.
The Meditation 1 class was taught by the schools founder, Laura Hopper. I was blown away. This meditation practice was giving me a practical way to deal with energy and life that was profound and transformative – its essentially all about learning to own one’s space. This, in turn, gave me the space I needed to be a more receptive, neutral, and happier person.
I continued on through Meditation 2 and 3. And then, with some trepidation, the clairvoyant training program – which turned out to be the most remarkable adventure in healing and prepared me well for the rigors of doing energy work.
In sum: Psychic Horizons affords people an experience that is down to earth, practical, but full of real magic. It’s one of the great unknown gems of San Francisco. If you feel constricted my your patterns or by someone else’s, give it a shot. You might just reconnect with your long lost self.

I am writing this review for Psychic Horizons simply because you need to know about this mediation school and their healing clinic. A friend of a friend introduced me to this school when I told her about a book called «the attractor factor» by Joe Vitale where he talks about how to manifest your most important goals in your life using intentional meditation techniques. I was not looking to become a psychic or anything so I was surprised when this friend’s friend suggested that I should attend the FREE introduction class by Rev. Judy at Psychic Horizons.
Later, I learned that in this school, they give you the skills to travel through an internal journey you’ve never been on before and your world suddenly becomes a more welcoming place. Little by little, you start manifesting things you’ve been dreaming about. They also teach you the skills to facilitate healing in yourself and others. I highly recommend the introduction class to get information on their step I, II, and III classes.
To their step I students, they offer a 2-​hrs FREE confidential reading and healing session with about three clairvoyant students. For my session, the student at the center chair was Rev. Trella. I hope you get to know her and benefit from her talents, especially if you are suffering from an illness that no doctor has yet diagnosed or healed. Trella and other Clairvoyant students at the school are not doctors but do consider getting a reading and a healing session with them. What I remember from my first 2-​hrs reading/​healing session was that they did rose and Chakra readings for me and brought in some universal healing energy forces to facilitate my healing.
What Trella had seen in my throat could be describes as «an energy that was not mine». While they sent me the appropriate healing energy forces, I remember getting a tingling sensation all over my legs and arms. I also remember that night, feeling the tingling all over my body as I lay down on my bed. There was no coincidence that that a few days after my 2-​hrs reading with Rev Trella and others, all of a sudden, I got guided to the right doctor for me and started on a path to full recovery and better health.
I attended the New Living Expo and was guided to a booth where I finally got a diagnosis and healing from a nutritionist who does nutrition response testing. What Trella had seen and described in my throat finally made sense after two decades of me going from one doctor to another. The nutritionist diagnosed me correctly and prescribed whole food supplements so my body starts to repair itself. I am now FREE of that thyroid condition without having to take any medication or hormone! And I owe my health to Psychic Horizons and their students especially Rev. Trella for seeing the unseen. As the author of little prince, Antoine de Saint-​Exupéry, said: what is essential is invisible to the eye. Although at first invisible to the eye, what this school can do for you is essential.
Rev. Laura is the founder of this school. I have had the honor to attend only a few of her classes but I consider her as one of my mentors throughout this journey of self discovery and growth. My Step I class teacher was Rev. Shirley, my Step II class teachers were Rev. Tom and Rev. Michelle, and my Step III class teachers were Rev. Michelle and Rev. Judy. I am indebted to all my step teachers for sharing their insights and wisdom with me.
Below is a summary of just a few of the possibilities that opened up for me in Step classes:
* I used to be so affected by the energy of people around me. In addition to seeking protection from my God, I now have the skills to protect myself from negative and unwanted energy.
* Using visualization techniques, I am now able to ground myself and feel empowered about creating positive things in my life by de-​energizing the charge of the negative past events.
* I now know how not to energetically attract unpleasant interactions to myself and how to create healthy boundaries around me.
* I learned about having certainty in my decisions, how to declare my space in my environment such as in the office, in my meetings, in social settings etc., and how to invite more compassion and forgiveness energy to myself.
* We worked on our boundaries, our reactions to what people throw at us, and our self-​image etc. to better understand why our boss feels that he can control us or treat us in an unfair way.
Finally, most people who get attracted to this school are either in a healing profession or have facilitated healing at least once in their life. Although, you may find the skills taught at Psychic Horizons helpful to predict the future, the school’s purpose is to teach you the skills to facilitate healing in yourself and others and not to make you a psychic.

Psychic Horizons is a great school for meditation. I’ve taken numerous classes and have found them all extremely useful and powerful. It has been a great structure for powerfully managing the stress of my very challenging work. The teachers are warm, friendly and very insightful in their guidance. I highly recommend checking them out by going to the Monday night clinics, Tuesday Intro & weekend healing fairs.

I learned about Psychic Horizons when I was working at a café as a Handwriting Analyst. I, too, was a skeptic about how teachable psychic-​ness was. Nevertheless my fellow reader and friend highly recommended the school.
I attended the introduction and decided to take the class. I never thought of myself as a meditator. I would try techniques I read in books and would get so distracted in five or ten seconds. I hated meditation as far as I knew.
While going to Psychic Horizons, to meditate in a group, a couple to a few times a week really helped focus me and create a foundation so I could reap benefits of deeper meditation in the future, now.
There are so many good points about this school and its offerings in the heart of San Francisco. I found myself returning for the next classes/​events/​apprenticeship for the following reasons:
1 — Learning to meditate helped me relax as I can tend towards anxious. This was my main reason in considering Psychic Horizons in the first place.
2 — Meditating also helps gain a better understanding of my motivations.
3 –With practice I can be more deliberate about what I want to cultivate in my life and less reactive to unpleasant stimuli.
4– I met neat folks and was part of a community and still am!
5– At times I encountered challenges and received honest and appropriate support from senior staff.
6– The location is in a great neighborhood so it was practical to get a bite to eat, access public transit or even do some light grocery shopping to or from class.
7– I have received a lot of positive feedback from self proclaimed skeptics and the open minded that the readings are right on.
When I was taking the course and continued taking advanced clairvoyant classes, though I had severe budget constraints, I always felt what I paid was more than worth it.
Some might get dogmatic and say traditional meditation is observing the breath or sensation… that what we learn at Psychic Horizons is more visualization. Regardless, the technique, the setting and more importantly the staff & students are a tremendous benefit & make meditation very a-​c-​c-​e-​s-​s-​i-​b-​l-​e to the average city dweller which is a most important start for us all.

I am quite a skeptic of this place because the whole idea of a psychic-​training school rubs me counterclockwise. I always wondered whether the psychics at psychic horizons really knew I came in here as a farce.
I had a past life reading here once by a group of clairvoyant trainees in meditation. Please note: I was receptive and did not cloud perceptions with a closed mind. They didn’t give me anything relevant, really yet the information «is what I make of it» metaphorically. I know, I know.
In one hour, I learned I was once a boxer, a hunter, a seamstress, a potter, a mammy, an indigenous boy and an astroid barnacle. I also learned how open each layer of my aura was by specific percentages. That information served me no purpose nor relevance. I was given a cassette tape of my reading for future bemusement.
The school is a converted victorian home. The waiting room is upstairs. You can sign up for readings there. Student readings are $ 35 and other readings are upwards of $ 50. The introductory class is free. For zero dollars, you are taught how to meditate while sitting in a chair. They also teach you how to focus in the center of your head and envision healing lights to cleanse your energy.
If you’re amazed at the end, you’ll be cordially invited to sign up for the level one training program for quite a few hundred more dollars. I watched many people sign up and pay after sitting in their chairs, envisioning orbs. It changed their lives.

Ok, to newbies, this is a great place with lots of freebies, go on Monday nights and weekends to get free energy healing, then also go to their Free intro class nights where you learn the basic of meditation.
This place changed my point of view of the word ‘Psychic’. Did lots of growing up coming to this place, met all kinds of interesting peeps from all different backgrounds also.
