After reading many positive reviews I called Hardin Tree Service for a quote. Tom promptly called me back and scheduled a time to come out to take a look and give us a bid on the two very large trees that needed to be removed. I immediately felt comfortable with Tom. He seemed very knowledgeable and took his time to review all of the work I wanted done before giving me a bid. I had gotten many bids. Toms bid was very fair for the work to be done. A few days before the removal Tom called to explain that he would be out to mark the trees so that he could have any underground utilities marked. This past Saturday Tom and his crew arrived as planned. Did a fantastic job of removing the trees, ground out the stumps and cleaned everything up. His crew was as friendly and professional as he is. We could not be happier and would most highly recommend Hardin Tree service to anyone.

I hired Hardin’s Tree Service after having a total of five different companies come out for estimates. Hardin’s was one of the cheaper ones and more also one of the most professional. I was impressed with Tom’s knowledge and experience upon meeting him for the estimate. Upon hiring him, he and his crew came out and trimmed the trees and cleaned up spotlessly. It was nice that the owner, Tom, who did the estimate was also the main man doing the work. I would highly recommend Hardin’s Tree Service!

We had four large trees that badly needed trimming. I called several companies for bids. Hardin’s Tree Service promptly returned my call, arrived on time for the estimate, and quoted me a very fair price. Because we were going out of town, Tom (the owner) and his crew were able to come out on the weekend and perform the job quickly and efficiently. We liked that Hardin’s is a family-​owned business, and the prices and service are exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend this company or use them again.

Great customer service and a fast response. I tried reaching two other tree service companies before I contacted Hardin’s. Neither of the previous two returned my phone call (s).
The receptionist I spoke with was lovely and informed me she would send someone out during the weekend to take a look at our tree stump and provide an estimate. The gentleman (I believe it was the owner) came by earlier in the week while he was in the area. After an inspection he let me know there was no need for him to remove the stump with his equipment. He instructed us on how to correctly and effectively use round up for the small stump and roots.
I appreciated his honesty very much and was glad to know he did not feel right taking money on a job that it is so simple.

I visited my dad for 4th of July, he had mentioned he had some work done to the trees, and Hardins tree service did a great job. I was glad to see that the trees were cut (not cut down like others suggested) and looked healthy and nice. My family was so happy to be able to spend the holiday in the nice shade. My parents were very impressed with their service. Great work! I am happy that the trees I watched grow as a child are still around. :)

I contacted Hardin’s Tree Service once I heard about the company after I was having difficulties with Bailey’s Tree Service (see my review of that business). Tom Hardin quickly returned my call and set up an appointment to view the two stumps which needed to be removed.
During the initial consultation, Tom was professional, polite, and clear in his communication with me. The price he provided was significantly cheaper than the quote I received from Bailey’s.
On the day of the project, Tom was on time, completed the stump grinding quickly and thoroughly, and cleaned up the area.
If I ever need tree-​related work done again, I will definitely call Hardin’s Tree Service. It was a pleasure workng with Tom, and refreshing to receive such solid customer service.

This company is extremely professional, never talking badly about other company I had a quote from. They did such an great job on my trees that my neighbors asked for a on the spot quote from the owner (yes the owner was on site to work on the job also.) and of course he gave him his quote and a business card.
They no joke no exaggeration cut and stump grinned 6 trees in approx. 3 – 4 hours including clean up! These guys are just amazing!

Tom Hardin of Hardin’s Tree Service was timely, thorough and professional. We had requested bids from several tree companies, one of which looked at the trees in our backyard and suggested that we needed to thin them — said they were planted too close together and would eventually damage our patio and pool. I tried finding a certified arborist to provide a second opinion and discovered that several wouldn’t come to Folsom or they didn’t return calls. Tom provided a consultation at no cost and he is clearly very knowledgeable about trees. I would highly recommend him for his skills as well as his knowledge of trees.
