These guys cut down 3 trees in our backyard. They were fantastic. Responded quickly, very reasonably priced, got the job done in a day. I would highly recommend them!

Scott and his crew did an outstanding job for our church today. We had three huge cork oaks that were dead or dying that had to be cut down, in our parking lot. Not only did they show up early, they were very safety conscious throughout a rigorous day with as many as four chain saws working at once. I haven’t written a review for some time, but felt compelled to jump back on and let everybody know what an amazing experience I had with California Tree Experts (CTE).
I purchased my house almost two years ago and it had a giant tree next to it. I didn’t think much about that, but now living in a former rental property of 30+years, the tree was severely neglected. It came a harsh reality that it was dangerous when I noticed a large branch over the house start to split. One nervous windy day, I called CTE and Scott rushed over, working around my schedule to give me an estimate. He told me it was ready to snap any time and set a plan on place to work on it between 2 storms leaving and entering the region.
The job required four men, for two days. This thing was a beast. Scott’s men were very kind and professional. The way the tree was situated required skilled climbers, something many tree services don’t offer. Scott explained all the problems the tree had and all the risk areas. I learned a lot from him and you could tell that this was more than his job; it was his passion. When the job was complete, the patio and yard were actually CLEANER than before.
I did research before hiring CTE for this job. They are bonded, experienced, and treat your property as if it were their own. I will not think twice before hiring CTE for my future tree needs.

Very knowledgeable, kind and professional service. When they were done with their work they cleaned up everything and it looked much better than when they arrived. I would definitely recommend this company. They also do both trimming and stump removal, not all companies do those things.

Our poor Chinese Elm is so drought stressed. Dropped huge branches 3 weeks apart. Each time Scott & his crew arrived & pruned the tree & did a fantastic job.

I compared the estimates of three 5 star tree service companies before I selected CA Tree Experts. Their price was sort of in the middle, but they was able to beat the lower price bid. Scott, the owner, was friendly, very knowledgeable, and informative. His crew of three people arrived on time to cut down and remove our 24 year old palm tree which had to be cut down for a fence replacement. The crew worked hard and efficiently. They started at about 8:30 and finished at about 3:30. They go the extra mile and made sure to thoroughly clean up debris including piles of tree limbs from two yucca trees I cut. I am very pleased with their service.

Scott and his crew did an excellent job of major pecan tree-​trimming in the backyard and the trimming of a front yard sycamore. The tree-​trimming took five hours. The crew were very professional. Even though the front and back yards looked like a war zone during the trimming, at the end of the day everything was cleaned up and looked better than when they started. I would highly recommend California Tree Experts and would use the service again.

Let me start by saying that I trust these guys. I have had a few people knock on my door trying to get my business but I called Scott and he helped me see the risk I was taking with someone who isn’t licensed or bonded. Scott and his crew are awesome. I use them to remove mistletoe from my 2 modesto ash trees in front every 2 – 3 years.

Scott came by to give me a quote after I called about a large sycamore in my front yard that was becoming overgrown. He gave me a reasonable quote and came by the next week to take care if it. They were friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves and the tree. The job only took an hour at most with 3 people working on it. I would call again for any additional work in my yard in the future.

I ran into these guys a few streets down from my house and asked for a quote on a tree trim. Not only did I get a quote right away, they took care of the job right away. Great customer service and good quality of work.
