Hampton Inn

Very clean hotel that is in great condition. Short drive to Pico & Killington. Morning breakfast is okay, but I would recommend just driving over to Sugar and Spice.
Pool is clean, but small. No hot tub. Did not see liquor sales on premises.

Clean yummy breakfast very friendly staff clean pool. cookies and (milk) if you ask for it. Close to shopping restaurants and beautiful downtown area. Beautiful flowers and bench area outside. Lobby fireplace cozy and nice seating. Beds and pillows comfy. Didn’t want to leave. Spoiled on the evening cookies, had to make my hubby some he was missing the hotel so badly.

I don’t give four star ratings to many hotels so a four star review is good for this one. Our room, featured two queen beds, and had plenty of room for my wife and our four year old. I was traveling for work and took the family, for this longer than usual trip. Our daughter likes to sleep in a popup tent, and not on the extra bed, and we had room to set this up with no problem.
I used the work station and desk each evening for several hours and it was comfortable and had plenty of room for my laptop and books to prep for classes I was teaching. The internet was good and had adequate speeds, even on the complimentary access, to stream Netflix and music.
The front desk staff was very polite and extremely helpful, and all the staff we interacted with, during our 10 days there were great. The indoor pool is small, but well kept and neat.
Breakfast was typical of most hot buffets in the same price range, coffee and tea was available ²⁴⁄₇ in the lobby and for once, was not terrible, like most hotel coffee. The breakfast was consistent, and well attended to by the staff.
Would definitely come back if ever in the area, and we appreciated the location in Rutland, being next to a grocery store and other necessary shops during our stay here.

I really didn’t want to write a review only because I wanted to keep this place a secret (haha!) Been staying here for a couple of years now and I just LOVE it!!! Staff is super friendly and hotel is super clean!!! They serve free breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, fruits, cereal, pastries, waffles, etc) til 11am. Hotel is great for large groups, families and even a romantic getaway. My go-​to-​hotel when I’m in the area, my home away from home. Free wifi, fitness center, indoor pool, free coffee/​tea all day in lobby, 24hr vending machine with snacks/​drinks and hotel is literally 2 mins walking distance from Taco Bell for any late night cravings. This hotel hasn’t disappointed me once. Definitely get your moneys worth! Can’t wait to come back!!!
FYI: If you want to stay here make sure to make reservations ahead of time! They get fully booked especially on long weekends/​holidays.

I needed a place to crash last minute due to my car needing repair. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Rates were fair, staff was knowledgable, rooms were clean and the cookies delicious. Peggy made it her personal responsibility to make sure my wife made it to the Rutland Train Station and the local cab service would pick us up promptly on multiple occasions. Both Karra and Peggy went above and beyond to ensure I had a room available when I came back into town later in the week. I would definitely stay here again. To the staff of the Hampton Inn, you made a tough situation so much more tolerable.

4.5 Stars, near perfection. Ultra friendly staff were extra-​helpful, hotel is clean and very nice. Room and bed were absolutely perfect super comfortable. They even offered me freshly made cookies, really a top tier hotel all around. It’s a bit pricey in comparison but well worth it. Perfect stay would highly recommend, and am all-​ready booking my next stay.

We come up to Vermont every Thanksgiving to celebrate with family. We have stayed at this hotel since it opened. The staff is WONDERFUL, breakfast is included and yummy, pool is great for the kids and fitness center very modern! Highly recommended!

Clean, relatively new Hampton Inn in Rutland, conveniently located. Service is very friendly. Breakfast is the usual motel morning buffet fare. The heating/​cooling units are loud and the indoor pool small. The fitness center is reasonable. Great place for an inexpensive stay in the Rutland area. Better than your average Hampton, but what you’d expect for one of the newer locations.

I’m a business traveler looking for quick and easy and reasonable. Clean, smelled great. Great breakfast. Very friendly. They got everything right here for my business needs. Fast Internet.

First of all, coffee and fresh fruit are available in the lobby 24/​7, and there is a single-​cup coffee maker in the room. The staff is very friendly, and the check-​in/​check-​out process is very easy. Our room was immaculate and was the best I have stayed in quite a while. Breakfast was good, but the DETAILS were a deal-​breaker: belgian waffles with only high-​fructose corn syrup and sugar free syrup in tiny packets. Scrambled eggs with some tasty added ingredients… nearly cold. Seasoned, cubed potatoes… also cold and no ketchup in sight. A variety of yogurts including plain (a good choice) and a flavored variety… with modified corn starch (Why!!!). But other good things, like lots of cereals to choose from and hot oatmeal. Toast, bagels, muffins, & fresh fruit. I would have given this hotel all 5 stars except for the breakfast… but a very good place to stay if you want a good, quiet, comfortable night’s sleep. Don’t hesitate, but bring along your own Vermont maple syrup. Also, the parking lot is well lit, and you can walk to a number of restaurants and stores in the adjacent shopping center.

Being part of the Hilton Honors Family I was happy to see they stick to a high standards. Clean and friendly with a free breakfast to boot in the mornings. Great place to stay!

Great place to stay! Comfortable, clean and won’t break the budget :)

I’ve stayed in Hampton Inns across the country and this seriously is second best one I’ve ever staid in.
The staff are beyond courteous, the lobby is extra nice, the breakfast is more expanded than usual, the pool & gym are very nice, the views out of the rooms look into the mountains & its conveniently located right on Rt 7. So you can get to anywhere in Rutland quickly from it.

This Hampton Inn is in a pretty good spot, not too far off from the main drag and downtown area in Rutland.
The staff is friendly and welcoming and the place is clean, comfy and well taken care of.
More than good enough. There’s really not much more to say about this Hampton Inn.
