History

Established in 2014.

Paw Prints Dog Walking was founded by Christina and her husband Robin out of their mutual love for animals. Although their inspiration to start Paw Prints came out of their joy in dog walking, they chose the route of full service pet care to enable them to spend time with multiple types of pets, not just dogs!

Christina offers experience with an extensive background in kennel, shelter, veterinarian and doggy day care facilities over the last 8 years. She also spent a year working under a certified trainer to gain the skills necessary for training dogs.

Robin has spent a lifetime raising every type of pet, dogs, cats, birds, rodents, insects, reptiles and amphibians. He learned how to nurture and rear all types of pets in a loving way, no matter what they are!

What can I say! I love working with animals! Since I was a child, I surrounded myself with as many animals as possible! When it came time for me to enter the work force, I chose to take my passion for animals and let it lead the way. I started with Cypress Creek Pet Care (when it was Griffith Small Animal Hospital) and learned to care for animals in need or while ill, as well as those boarding while owners were away. Following that, I worked for a premier boarding, daycare, training, and grooming facility in Austin. The knowledge I gained regarding canine socialization, behavior and training over the 3 years I was there are invaluable! And lastly, the various shelters I have volunteered at taught me how just a little compassion means the world to any animal. All if these things inspired me to take my love for animals and the knowledge I had gained and put it to work!

We’re thrilled to have found Paw Prints and highly recommend them! We tried to contact another pet sitting company before finding Paw Prints and the other company never even returned our calls. However, Christina with Paw Prints returned our call promptly and set up a complimentary meet and greet with us to answer any questions we had and go over all the details before we went out of town. Christina and her husband Robin sent daily updates with pictures and videos of our 3 cats. It was great knowing they were in such good hands while we were out of town. Christina and Robin took their time getting to know our cats’ personalities and we could tell they love all animals, not just dogs. :) They left detailed daily notes of how our cats did and took great care in making sure their litter boxes were clean and that our furry kiddos had fresh food and water. We were nervous since we had never used a pet sitting company before, but Christina and Robin made sure we had an excellent experience! We look forward to using Paw Prints again for our next pet sitting need.

We are so very glad we found Paw Prints! Our search for a new pet sitter who serviced Pflugerville was not an easy one and after some not returned phone inquiries with other places, we got a friendly response and quick meet-​and-​greet appointment with Christina. It was obvious to us immediately that she loves taking care of pets and we knew our two pups were in great hands for our upcoming vacation. Plus, the rates are very reasonable and include three visits a day which we thought was absolutely fantastic, as it gives the dogs more interaction with someone throughout the day versus the typical two visits we’ve had with other places.
While we were away, Christina and her husband sent daily updates and photos that had us laughing and smiling as we read them. Our pups look so happy in the update pics and we know they are having a great time with Christina and her husband. Again, the notes made it clear they really care about our pets.
We couldn’t be happier to have found Paw Prints. We’re elated with their service and their loving care for our fur babies — and all from a close-​to-​home Pflugerville sitter! If you want a professional, knowledgeable, responsible, and trustworthy pet sitter, you should be calling Paw Prints.

I can’t express how much Paw Prints has helped us with our pups! I found them by luck and I’m glad I did!
Monday through Friday they come over to our apartment while my fiancé and I are at work to take they boys out on a walk and train them. We have seen huge improvements in the past few months since we began services with them.
Not only do they take the time walk and train our pups, they also leave us a report on how they did daily in a green folder they provide.
Overall I could not be happier. Our lease is up in November and we will be sure to move somewhere in their service area as we want to continue to use them!

Did you know that Paw Prints also provides services for the feline population? Yep, our cat Sheldon Cooper, is lucky to have Paw Prints shows up daily to feed and care for him when we are out-​of-​town.
The day after we had Sheldon neutered, we had an emergency and had to leave town unexpectedly. No problem! Christina made sure Sheldon had the care he needed and monitored his stitching to ensure he didn’t open it. We appreciated the extra care and love she provided for him in our absence.
Sheldon is typical of most cats. He doesn’t really need people, but he does occasionally love to be cuddled. He loves the folks at Paw Prints! Not only do they scoop out his litter box, but they also change out his water and replenish his food. And they even take time to love on him.
What on earth did we ever do before Paw Prints? We’ve had other cats, but every time we left town we would board our cats at the vet’s office. It’s a comfort to us to know that Sheldon is enjoying his comfortable house… instead of a cold, steel cage!
I also enjoy the benefit of knowing that the staff at Paw Prints is bonded and insured! I recommend Paw Prints to anyone who has a dog, cat, lizard, unicorn, etc.

This company is awesome. They are very loyal to the service and standard they have set as a company. I have a very hyperactive, stubborn dog that needs much exercise and lots of patience. I would trust my dog’s care in the hands of very few people and Paw Prints is one of them. In the past, I have used their service for my special needs cat when I left town for a week or more. She does not like too many people and will become stressed and not eat if taken from her environment. Paw Prints came to my home and befriended my cat by the time I came back to town. The service that they provide at the rate they charge is unbeatable. I refer everyone to them! They know their animals and you can tell they have real experience and training.

I am new to the area. I have lived in Austin about 10 months. I have tried EVERYTHING from Pets-​mart to private ranches for my two boys and nothing has come close to the convenience and professionalism as Paw Prints. I absolutely love how flexible, professional and courteous they are when it comes to Brody and Syd. I genuinely see how much they care for my boys and I can see a difference in them from when they started to today. I will not leave this area because I know my dogs love Paw Prints. I have walked in on them on accident and I have seen the reaction my guys have around them. SIMPLY PERFECT! I would RECOMMEND PAW PRINTS in my sleep if I could. TRULY ONE OF A KIND!
