Designers Point specializes in designing kitchens, bathrooms, and various other rooms in the home. Our focus is on guiding homeowners through the complexities of home remodeling. We carry product ranging from cabinetry and plumbing to countertop surfaces and tile. We also collaborate with installers to give a complete remodel package to our clients. The showroom represents the collaborative efforts of four designers who each bring a unique perspective, design aesthetic and expertise to each project.

History

Established in 2012.

Designers Point is made up of the collaboration of four former employees of The Great Indoors who have over 50 years combined experience in the kitchen and bath industry.

Meet the Business Owner

Dick M.

Business Owner

Dick Minar has been working in design for over 20 years. His background includes many years running his own showroom in Arlington Heights, before joining The Great Indoors in Schaumburg, IL. He spent nearly ten years with them, until July 2012, when the company closed it’s doors. By that time Dick had already been working to open Designers Point, taking three of his co-​workers with him, they took the lease on the space at Plum Grove Center the same day The Great Indoors closed.
