Michael Thomas Photography works with you to get the images that will last a lifetime. We love the challenge of finding a location where we can combine a beautiful setting with our detail to lighting and posing — or, not posing if candid portraits are your style.
Your pictures are important to you and we know that capturing those images and refining them to be exactly to your liking is the key to our success and your happiness. We can create custom packages to accommodate your budget. You will fall in love with the images leaving your friends asking you where you went for such amazing portraits. We look forward to creating something incredible for you!

Why Should I Hire A Professional Photographer?
I realize that custom portraiture is not for everyone. It is, after all, a luxury service. Most people have a point and shoot camera or an entry level DSLR that they can take pictures of their families with, and now cell phones are taking the place of those traditional cameras!
Think about it this way. A professional photographer is not just someone picking up a fancy camera. A professional photographer is an artist. We have studied how to master the technical aspects of how light falls upon a subject and how to properly pose subjects so that their best features are highlighted. We are also able to carefully post process images, painstakingly adjusting the image so that it looks natural, yet beautiful.
Meet the Business Owner
Michael T.
Business Owner
Avid thinker. TV ninja. Unapologetic web practitioner. Fanatical shutterbug. And in his spare time, he enjoys writing about himself in the third person…
Even though Michael is a medical imaging professional by trade, he’ll always be a photographer at heart. He’s an artist who loves to photograph people. He’s also a father, an educator, and at one point early in his life, he dabbled in the art of making music. He still plays the alto & tenor sax, the flute & piccolo, and the oboe if he can find the time.
Michael truly believe that his career in medical imaging and his 40+ year passion for photography go hand in hand and gives him a unique perspective unlike anyone else in the business. His clients often marvel at how he is able to capture the subtle expressions and mannerisms of their family members in a single frame.
Michael is also incapable of pitching something he doesn’t believe in 100%, so if he doesn’t feel that a client is a good fit for his unique style, he’ll tell them so.
