I found this company here on Unilocal and read all the comments. I scheduled a service with a coupon that they had. Their service was so great that I decided to purchase a 2 year contract. My service tech was Warren (awesome and honest) person. He did more than expected that I was impressed. After the service, I purchased the annual contract and his supervisor Todd followed up with the greatest result. These guys are awesome. I will keep them for a long long time to keep my HVAC going.

Brian from Sheldon’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. did a wonderful job repairing my Air Conditioning unit, My A/​C stopped working on Friday, the hottest day of the year, Brian came to diagnostic that is bad compressor, so I had to get a new one but Brian gave me an excellent price. He order new A/​C unit with 10 years warranty and came early Saturday morning to replace A/​C unit. so I can have my cool weekend. Brian was very friendly and professionally. I would recommend Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. if you have any problems with your A/​C unit.

Our A/​C went out during the worst heat wave this year, on a Sunday. I googled for emergency services and called the 877 number for a big corporate service because they were the first to come up. All they did was take my info and pass it on to someone who was supposed to call me back. My husband found a newspaper ad for Sheldon’s and they had a local number. John answered right away and was here in an hour. He was professional and friendly and obviously knows his stuff. He was able to repair our A/​C very quickly and gave us advice on how to keep it properly maintained. The price was very reasonable for emergency service. Sheldon’s has a customer for life! Oh, and I never got a call back from the corporate 800 number.

I asked my wife to have these guys come out to inspect my new AC unit because it has been 1 year since it was installed. These guys did not do the initial install but I had them out before with my old AC unit and they seemed nice so I remembered them. For $ 35 or so the guy went into my attic and took a photo of my condensing drain pipe. He then proceeded to tell my wife it’s hooked up wrong and water won’t flow up hill. For only $ 900 he can get it repaired. What??? First of all it isn’t flowing upward, the technician isn’t even looking at it correctly. Secondly it only needed to be flushed which I ended up doing myself for free. I will stick to my normal AC guy. Thanks for nothing!

Jason was very very friendly! Even though our original appointment was 12 – 5. Something came up and we actually missed the appointment, but he was kind enough to come back at 3, when we got home.
Jason checked our AC and see what was wrong. Our AC was blowing warm air and it actually made the house unbearable with it on. Jason found that we needed a new part because the old one we had broke down. After Jason put in a new part, the house started to cool down instantly. He also went ahead and cleaned everything else.
All in all, my experience with Sheldon’s was wonderful. Would definitely recommend to all my friends! Thank you guys so much! And Jason! :D

Just had a $ 59.00 preventative maintenance done. I so appreciated the serviceman, Jason. He was knowledgable, and explained everything to me. He made some recommendations for the future. What I liked the most was I felt like I could trust him. No strong arm tactics! I will use this company next year as well.

Didn’t show up for the appointment…
I called and made an appointment for air conditioning tune up. Was given a time frame of 12 to 5 pm. Very large time window and but still stayed home the whole afternoon. Around 3:30 called again to make sure the tech will be arriving and was told that they are very busy but I am next. Waited another hour but nobody showed up. Get a phone call from tech around 4:47 pm that on the way another 4 miles but I told him don’t come. It was going to be another 2 hours of work at least and didn’t wanted to ruin my Friday evening.
They should have called promptly to keep me informed. If their customer service is this bad and cannot schedule people correctly, I am not sure what else they cannot do.
Will be using someone else.

Very prompt, and most importantly, honest service. I’ve had many bad experiences with other A/​C companies over the years, as many mis-​diagnose problems, or try to sell you parts that aren’t bad. Sheldon’s has always been honest with great service on the several jobs they’ve done for me and my rental properties.

I noticed my A/​C bill had doubled and the air wasn’t coming out cold upstairs. I called my, «Friend» who is in the A/​C business. He came out and said nothing was wrong. I argued that my unit was working way too hard to cool the house but his inspection turned up nothing. He topped off my refrigerant, cleaned my coils, and called it a day.
The air was cold for about two days, then faded back to, not so cold. I called my friend back out but he never showed. I decided to find somebody else and came across Sheldon’s on the internet and gave them a call because they had great reviews.
John came out and inspected the system for $ 30. He found the refrigerant was low and suspected there must be a leak since I had just had it filled. He entered the attic and immediately found a leak in my evaporator coils. He told me don’t fear because the evaporator coil should still be under warranty.
He called the manufacturer and negotiated a new unit at no cost. We scheduled an appointment for install. Although the installation was not cheap, it was still a great price compared to what everybody else had posted on the internet.
Sheldon’s employees drove out to Riverside to pick up the warranty replacement and brought it to my house. They laid down plastic on the carpet, their uniforms were clean, and they each greeted me with a firm handshake. They were extremely respectful and patient even with my dog and four monster kids running around the house.
They removed the leaky unit from the attic and inspected the warranty replacement from the manufacturer, prior to installing it. Its a good thing they did because they discovered that unit was also defective with poor welding and dents in three of the coils.
They drove back to the manufacturer and retrieved a second, new unit. After a few hours it was installed and my house dropped from 84 to 78 in no time at all.
These guys are awesome. Five stars all the way. Everybody I dealt with, from the owner to the secretary, the technician to the installers. They were all a pleasure to deal with. I’m extremely pleased with their service.

Diagnostic fee was $ 30.00. Service tech was friendly. Tech replaced blower motor and capacitor. He was very knowledgeable and explained why the parts needed to be changed. Cost of parts seemed to be over priced though.

Service was very prompt and friendly. Diagnostic fee was $ 30.00 and done quickly. Tech replaced broken igniter and cleaned off flame sensor. Cost for new igniter was 326.00 so total repair was $ 356.00. New OEM igniter listed by an Internet vendor is listed as $ 59.05 plus freight.
The reason for three missing stars is that, while I certainly expect a business to operate at a profit and to pay for expertise, a markup of over 540% on an igniter from less than 59.05 to $ 326.00 appears to be a bit excessive.

I love Sheldon’s! They actually FIX things instead of just trying to sell you a new unit every time something breaks. We’ve been using them for all of our heating and a/​c repairs for several years now, and they’re always prompt, efficient and reasonable. Had a new heating and AC unit installed today from Sheldon’s. Great group of guys. There was only a couple issues that got resolved right away. They were suppose to install it on Monday, but James called me on Friday before and told me they could not get part on the unit until Tuesday. They showed up when they were suppose to. The next little issue was we were told everything was included in the price we were quoted (which was thousands less than the other guys) today they told us we would have to pay $ 400 to get it certified. Brian quickly resolved that issue and the install went on as planned. John and his helper did a great job very clean made all the onsite adjustments that needed to be made. Great group of guys from James who first quoted us to Brian job manager and John and his helper doing the install.

Brian at Sheldon’s performed miracles on my old AC Unit. I was terrified I had to replace the entire thing at a ton of money and instead of trying to sell me a new unit, which he could have done, he fixed my old one and it’s working perfectly! These guys are honest and super experienced!
