History

Established in 1981.

Jacob Moskovith originally founded Pioneer Plumbing in 1981 and named the company in honor of him being the «Pioneer» of the family and paving the way for his families path to this great nation of ours. Jacob has been a plumber since 1957 and prides himself in being one of the most knowledgeable and skilled plumbers in the industry. As the owner of Pioneer Plumbing Jacob’s vision for his company is to remain a «Mom & Pop», customer service «first» kind of a company. At Pioneer Plumbing you can always expect to have good quality service, great customer service and competative pricing.

Great service! Called at 3:45 and Shilo was on the job 1 hour later to unclog our sewer. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I will definitely call again when we have a plumbing issue.

RIPOFF ALERT!!! I will never call this company again. They attempted to get me to do a $ 3200 job when only a small repair was necessary. That was AFTER they did not show when I had taken off from work early to meet them.
I thought the were friendly and customer service oriented, as when I told them I had taken off from work early and they could not get the plumber out to me until 4 hours after the appointment, they offered a free service the next day. Well, what really happened is the guy, a supervisor, came out and announced the pipe going through the wall was rotted out, they would have to tear up the wall replace the pipe, etc. It would cost up to $ 3200. I called another plumber who told me that was completely false. Cut off the end of the pipe which was the only part of the pipe which was rotten, installed a new trap and was out within 1 hour and under $ 100.

Called to schedule service; asked about prices. Told $ 69 to show up, but then they refused to give any further cost info, not even minimum expense if the job is trivial. Yes, plumbing jobs can blow up with unknown costs, but where is the floor, and how big are the steps? Asked to speak with someone else, only to suddenly be told «oops, [we] are out of [their] service area», though our city it prominently on their web page. Every other place I’ve called will at least give a minimum price if the job is easy. Maybe they are great plumbers, but I found them terrible on the phone. Being expected to pay $ 70 and wait just to learn minimum cost seems ridiculous.

Called them and they were here within an hour! Free estimate. Priced lower than others. We needed the bathroom sink fixed and the guy Min did a nice, clean job & was very professional! Zero hassles. Only thing, I wish Min would have mentioned the Unilocal discount. My boyfriend does not pay attention to things like that and I didnt see it until I was about to write the review. Anyways, he did an awesome job! Would definitely use them again & would prob request that they send Min.

I own multiple restaurants and having a good on the spot repair company is very important. I had a water heater go down at one of my restaurants. My normal company came out and gave me some bs about warranty and I need to call a certified repair tech for the brand (they already worked on the heater once before) so I called Pioneer. They had a tech at my location with in the hour. Israel showed up and had the problem fixed with in 10 minutes. He showed me what to do if this happens again. Pioneer has just taken the business from my last company for all of my restaurants. I would highly recommend them and highly recommend Israel. Thank you for getting my place back up and running ASAP.

Gabriel C is an amazing plumber, very clean and precise. Really honest and super nice… We had several plumbers come, spend tons and nothing came from it. Gabe came over tested a few things and found the problem. Very happy with his work! Totally recommend!

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I was blown away with Pioneer’s service. Tony Rodriguez is a real nice guy and very professional. The price was a mind blowing $ 55, which was 4 times less than another competitor that I used in the past. They were really responsive and answered all my concerns. Would definitely use them again!

Was a little nervous because of a few recent bad reviews, but we were really happy. They came out within a few hours of our call for a plugged kitchen sink drain. They were running behind, but kept us posted on the plumber’s ETA. The plumber himself (Min was his name) was awesome. Polite, tidy, efficient, and explained everything he was doing. Oh, and personable! Bonus! We’d definitely use again.

After using them once, I will never use them again… they seem expensive and unreliable. I had to press real hard to get my repair re-​done so it actually works. And they are literally just a few blocks from my location.

This company turned out to be not good. They were great when Anthony worked there but the next guy who came out not only wanted too much but also he left something loose and then it caused a major leak. I contacted the owner to submit the damage claim to her insurance and I am awaiting hearing back. Hopefully they’ll take responsibility for their bad plumber’s actions (apparently he’s not there anymore) but if not, I’ll be either taking them to small claims court or submitting the claim to my insurance so that they can take her insurance company to court. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing. I’ll update my review with the outcome either way.

We had a great experience with Pioneer Plumbing. They were fast, professional, and fairly priced. The job they did for me involved breaking into the back wall of my linen closet to get at the old pipes in my shower. This was a potentially messy job, but they were clean and efficient. I really could not have been more delighted.
Jackie in the office was OUTSTANDING throughout the process. She kept me informed every step of the way.
We will definitely use Pioneer again in the future!

Our three year old son flushed a diaper down the upstairs toilet. Huge mess. Ugh. The resulting water damage downstairs was huge.
We removed the toilet to try and locate the glorious diaper. No dice.
Here’s the reason we called Pioneer: they had an ad on Google (see picture) for $ 55 drain cleaning and clean-​out.
The plumber arrived within a reasonable amount of time. He was friendly. He was professional.
All good so far.
He first wanted to see the clean-​out drain on the side of our house. It didn’t look like it would have worked for our situation. He then went upstairs and used the snake to pull out the diaper (which ended up being around 12″ down the pipe). It was so close I could have «Probably reached in with your hand and pulled it out» the plumber said.
He billed me $ 205.00. I didn’t know that my wife had referenced the Google ad for $ 55.00 when she called and requested service. She saw the bill and asked me about it.
I called Pioneer and inquired.
They said since he didn’t open up the clean-​out and run a snake up it, but rather came inside and ran a snake 12 inches, the price shot up by $ 150.00.
Well, the job was done. I can’t complain about the plumber’s professionalism. He was polite and did the job. I only took issue with the price discrepancy.
I later received a phone call from their office and they confirmed with me that they would actually honor the $ 55.00 Google ad. That makes for happy customers when businesses do what they say.
