I don’t know why I didn’t post this a long time ago.
Phil crafted custom Plantation Shutters for out home about 6 years ago
We have three colors white, espresso, and a cognac color.
These are the best things we purchased hands down for our house
I am still in love with these
Shutters are fantastic, you can control the light coming in as the daylight changes
LOVE LOVE LOVE this quality product and Phil is a gem of a guy

This was a while ago and I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time now. We wanted to hire Phillip to install shutters on our large bedroom window. We went back and forth for quite a while about design and placement, mostly because we didn’t know quite what we wanted… but he figured out that shutters was not what we were looking for. He recommended that we do something else, instead of shutters, in order to preserve the view. He did this knowing that he would lose our business. I think it takes a real professional to recommend something other than their own product even though it would cost them a sale. I would highly recommend working with him because of the professionalism he brings to this company. If we ever need shutters in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to call Newport Custom Shutters.

Phillip Alamangos is wonderful to work with! My wife is an interior designer with very high standards and we found Phillip to be responsive, detailed oriented, friendly, professional and was very on time to deliver the product. we are extremely happy with the quality, finish and look of the shutters and equally as happy with his professional communications.
