Tony Schwartz: Wedding MC & DJ

We had Tony for our wedding in August 2015 — and he was fantastic!
He was the DJ /​MC at my sister’s wedding in 2013, and we knew, when we got engaged, that was who we wanted for our wedding. He’s professional, dresses well for the weddings, has a great announcing voice, and gives couples lots of opportunities to customize their ceremony and reception to exactly what they want. His equipment is all up to date, and he arrived on time.
Very low stress to work with Tony — which is definitely something to look for as a couple when picking a vendor who controls many aspects of your big day. You will not be disappointed if you have Tony as your wedding DJ /​MC!
The only thing holding back the 5^th star — Tony gives you this binder with everything to customize ideas, and worksheets for your music and to help you pick different parts of your wedding reception & ceremony, which is fantastic and we enjoyed filling out. But, being out of state while planning — it was a bit of a drag to have to scan in all the sheets once they were filled out. If you’re planning out of state, Tony is still very stress free to work with — just ask for the .pdf version instead :)

Tony made our wedding «the funnest» our guests have ever attended. We took many suggestions from his big book of ideas/​planning guide that he had sent home with us. We had so much fun giving our guests a good time and a wedding that was different than what they were already used to.
It’s clear that Tony loves what he does. He is excellent at all aspects from start to finish. Before we met him, we met with one of his competitors. When we mentioned that we wanted to talk Tony before we committed to their services, their disposition changed. They knew they couldn’t compete and had lost the sale.
Tony didn’t have to make the sale, he just did what he’s done for years. His experience, quality customer service, ease of conversation and general presentation put us at ease. We knew we were in good hands and that he would give us and our guests the wedding that we had always wanted.

When my (now) husband and I were in the process of planning our wedding we knew we wanted a DJ and MC that could not only keep the dance floor full, but could keep everything throughout the night moving without a hitch. Tony definitely did all that and more! From the moment we first met him he was full of ideas of how to make our wedding/​reception our own and made us feel incredibly comfortable with having him run one of the biggest days of our lives. Everything was perfectly seamless throughout the planning and whenever we had any questions Tony immediately responded despite his time being in such high demand. We had a good laugh during one of our meetings over the fact that my husband’s sister went to a wedding where she loved the DJ and was describing him to us saying he would be a perfect fit and, as you can guess, it was Tony! We joked with her that we were offended she was more excited about Tony being our DJ than the actual wedding. It was awesome to see how great of a reputation Tony has in the area with fellow vendors as well as those who have been at weddings he has performed at. We were continually impressed with how he handled everything leading up to the wedding and on that day it was amazing how easy he made everything for us. Not only did everyone have a great time on the dance floor, but Tony made sure that everything happened on time according to the schedule we had created together. Our guests also loved the photobooth that we rented from him and the pictures that we received after the event were hilarious! The photobooth attendants that he provided kept everything together wonderfully and they made sure they were setup and ready to go in plenty of time. We continually receive compliments about how good of a party our wedding was and how much fun people had. We would highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a wedding MC & DJ that will go above and beyond to make sure your wedding and reception go even better than you could have imagined. He’s a MC & DJ, but makes sure he gets to know each and every one of his clients on a personal level to give them exactly what they are looking for. How many people can you talk to that have their wedding DJ turn into someone that long after their wedding they still meet up with at a baseball game to catch up?

Tony is very professional and dedicated to making your wedding the best wedding your friends have ever gone to! He was amazing to work with and fun too! My husband and I were so happy with tony ! We still get compliments to this day about how awesome Tony was and it was one of the best weddings they have gone to because of him :)

Tony did a wonderful job at our wedding last year! He met with us in advance and made sure to clarify our expectations for our big day. If you are thinking of not hiring a DJ because you think you can handle the MC-​ing and music on your own or plan to have a friend do it, think again! Tony is a great choice as he ensures that the evening moves along smoothly and no important moments are missed. He also makes an effort to play the music you and your guests enjoy listening to. I definitely recommend that you hire him for your next event!

Tony is a wonderful master of ceremonies and DJ. It is obvious the passion he has for his job and how important it is that he gives his customers (who he views as his friends) the best and stress free experience. My husband and I hired him for our wedding and even five months later our guests talk about what an incredible time they had. Tony turned our wedding into a five hour dance off with all our family members. We even rented his photo booth services which were a MAJOR hit. As a bride, I was constantly busy but Tony did a great job of emailing me important dates, reminders or even just asking me how I was doing. You can tell how much Tony cares for his clients with all that he does for them!

When we started to plan our wedding a colleague told me, «you need to hire Tony. He had our wedding party rocking till the final call». So I did. And we were not disappointed. We booked Tony and were immediately whipped in to the reality that the DJ is more than the master mixer of awesome tunes. He’s the master of ceremonies. He sent us a binder that could make the most organized bride salivate, prompting us to think about the flow, the stuff you don’t consider but need to. In our planning meeting, we were struggling with songs, so he asked my husband who is favorite band was and immediately pulled up an instrumental version of «Alive» that still has people commenting about how awesome it was. He has a great reputation with venues and their staff. And when the gang at Sodo Park found out we were using him they assured us he had it down. And he was also great with our officiant who has one of the best reputations in the biz (Mary Calhoun).
And then there’s the music. He had a great way of mixing it up perfectly. Never letting a song get old and reading the room like a champ.

Tony is an excellent DJ with an awesome level of experience that shines through at weddings. I’ve worked with him a number of times now — he’s got the knowledge of the in’s and out’s of what it takes to make sure that the sound system and the sound ambience at every wedding and reception are nothing less than stellar. He’s professional, amicable, friendly, personable, and a joy to work with. I’ve seen a number of DJ’s in my years and Tony ranks up there among the best. He keeps the guests engaged, runs a great evening with charisma, charm, organization, and smooth flow. There’s never a dull moment or an awkward pause. On top of that he’s got technological know-​how to make sure the other vendors know when and where to be. That’s all you can ask of a DJ — to know that they are on top of things is a great breath of fresh air and a relief. Tony’s on the ball at every wedding I’ve seen him at, and I’m proud to know him and to get to work with him.

Tony is more than a DJ. He’s a master of ceremonies, the king of circulation, a wedding coordinator, an expert in judging mood and next steps in a room. He brought organization, joy, energy, and something undefinable to our wedding. We loved his ideas for our introduction as a married couple. He was a pleasure to work with and I recommend him without reservation.

We used Tony Schwartz for our February 1, 2014 wedding. We hired him about four months prior to our wedding and from the day we hired him he was an absolute rock star!
He had us fill out a 36 page questionnaire which covered every detail you could ever think of. There wasn’t a detail that Tony didn’t think of. In addition to being our «DJ», he was also the person that set the timeline for the entire day. We were so stressed out about the timeline prior to meeting with Tony but as soon as he started walking us through it, we immediately felt at ease.
He also went above and beyond the call of duty for us. He took special care in understanding who Eric and I were as well as learning about our family, friends and wedding party. He also held us accountable by calling us and emailing us when we were late providing him with information. He understood how busy we were and made sure that got everything taken care of. By the time our wedding day arrived I felt like Tony knew and understood exactly who we were and what we were looking for!
On the actual wedding day, he was AMAZING. We did a special Seahawks-​themed grand entrance and without Tony, it wouldn’t have been anything special. By the time he introduced us he had every single person in the room on their feet, cheering, waving napkins, clapping and stomping their feet. It was the most incredible feeling for us, and an amazing memory for everyone that was there. Throughout the evening Tony socialized with everyone, played AWESOME music that fit the crowd and made sure that Eric and I were always where we needed to be.
I couldn’t be more pleased with Tony’s services. Without him, there is no doubt that our night wouldn’t have turned out as special as it did. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

What can I say about Tony?! As a local wedding planner, I have worked with him on several weddings. I can truly say each and every wedding we do together is treated as a unique production. Everything matters to Tony in planning and executing the event, down to the details.
He is easy going and my couples just love him. He is attentive throughout the wedding planning process, tailoring the music to the couple and what they want, not just the same songs at each event like some DJ’s do.
