Business Owner

Mark is uniquely qualified for this task. He is an internationally-​recognized expert in

alternative energy technologies and is responsible for some of the biggest innovations in

sustainable energy.

In the early 1980’s, Mark trained in Europe with Dan Trim, a Danish company

manufacturing high technology burners fueled by biomass.

In 1985, he developed California’s first large scale bio-​energy conversion project in San

Diego County using agricultural waste to produce 100 kW of electricity and waste heat for

20 acres of greenhouses using peach pits from a cannery.

In 1986, he developed the first Bio Gas water tube boiler, working with Los Angeles boiler

maker Dixon Boiler, and Eurotherm, a Danish manufacturer of Biomass systems and moving

grates.

During the same time period, he designed and deployed two trash separation systems and

one cubing operation for the City of Tacoma, Washington.

Mark is a Master Electrician and a consultant to some of the world’s larg
