Locked the keys in the car before the funeral at Willamette National Cemetery. Operator said it would be 30 minutes. Rick and Mary showed up in 5! It took even less time to get us into the car! Wonderful folks providing wonderful service on an auspicious day. Hugs all around!

HORRIBLE. OnStar contracts them out for this area so that’s how I got stuck with them. Original ETA of 40 minutes. Then I get a call to confirm. 15 minutes after the ETA, I call Pop-​a-​lock. Rude dispatcher tells me the driver is at another job, in Vancouver! She then gives me another ETA of an additional 20 minutes. That time rolls around so I talk to a different dispatcher. Driver tells me he is 5 minutes away, and then arrives 30 minutes later. Basically original ETA of 40 minutes turned into 2 hours. It was 31 degrees.

FIND ANOTHER BUSINESS! I needed help with my car and called my insurance company who in turn called this place who said they’d be about 30 to 40 minutes… an hour later I got a call saying sorry 30 more minutes and I’m still waiting…

Realized I locked my keys in my car on my lunch break at work. I called pop a lock at 5:15 and they told me a technician would be out in 45 minutes and it would be $ 59.95.
Two hours roll by and I call again to see why they haven’t showed yet.
Apparently they cancelled my order because there was no customer outside and they took down the wrong number for me. Obviously I’m not outside I’m working. Which I told them and even told them what business I was in. So now they are sending another tech out and raised the price by $ 5 because it’s after six. I don’t mind the price up charge but I do mind them tacking it on when they are the ones who messed up! I do not recommend them at all. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Horrible phone service. Called 6÷12÷15 around 1pm. The female that answered the phone sounded like she was chewing food, you can hear the boredom oozing thru the phone. I mean when you lock your key in your car, you’re not in the best mood. You want efficient, FAST, prompt and clear service. This was the opposite. I asked for a rough estimate to unlock a car in Portland, OR, & she asked my car color. Really??? That’s not relevant at all to the cost. After asking me multiple questions, and I kept asking can you just give me rough estimate, $ 100, $ 200?. She kept asking me irrelevant questions to fill out my account when I haven’t agreed for service. I finally hung up and called next locksmith on my Google search. Save your time and call A-​locksmith instead!

TL;DR: Find another company unless you love waiting and broken promises.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Locked out of my car and used the roadside assistance through my insurance. When they didn’t show up in the time frame, I ended up calling them 3 times, each time they promised to call back and never did. I finally called the insurance company, who said they would be there in 15 minutes (this is after a full hour of waiting PAST the scheduled arrival time, 2.25 hours total at this point). After 20 more minutes, my insurance company called and said that Popalock said they couldn’t come because I had requested a service other than lockout. What? I told my roadside assistance to find another locksmith company. How are these guys still in business?

Called for service, said they’d be out in 30 minutes. Never showed up. Called them back to check on status, and they said no one could make it out anymore. They never bothered calling us to let us know. Avoid this company.

Absolutely the rudest person I’ve ever met.
Hands down the worst experienced I’ve had in years. They wouldn’t except my Enterprise fleet card. And I Had no other means of paying. The man immediately threatened to call the cops and take me to small claims.
And take my keys.
I had to call a friend in the middle of the night to come by with cash to get this guy to go away. He even blocked my car in the parking stall. He cursed the entire time and embarrassed me of the situation. Reminded me that I was «the idiot» who put himself in this situation.
All this after the receptionist told me that they do take Fleet cards. Thats why I called them out to unlock my car!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!
Call anybody else but them!!!

SERIOUSLY THE WORST. I waited 1.5hrs for them to show up when they quoted a 30−40min wait, in the cold.
The tweaker kid that showed up with his pants sagging and dirty clothes couldn’t open the door, tried to unlock it for 30minutes. He couldn’t get it, so he said «Call someone else», and LEFT.
NEVER AGAIN. Tell your friends. HORRIBLE SERVICE

TL;DR — this company sent over someone who wasn’t a locksmith and couldn’t pick the lock, and they’re ultimate recommendation was that I call another service.
This is my story:
I got locked out of my apartment after I went for a run. My key would turn the deadbolt but, ultimately, the deadbolt was broken in such a way that no matter how much I turned the key, the bolt wouldn’t totally recess into its space. Ergo, door doesn’t open.
The person this company sent over was unprepared for the job. She was also late. The quote from the dispatch was 30 minutes or less. She arrived at 42 minutes. She first tried to open the door with a credit card. Fail. She then opened a bag of lockpicking tools (nerd humor alert — which reminded me of picking a lock in Skyrim) and she didn’t really know what she was doing. She then spent 20 minutes with my key on the door handle lock, which I told her that I never use.
She placed a call to her supervisor. No answer and voicemail left. Another 10 minutes go by and no success. She then tries to disassemble the handle. She doesn’t bring a screwdriver so she uses what looks like a nail file. Very professional. She again places a call to her dispatch and I can hear over the phone that there isn’t anybody available and they’re short staffed.
The recommendation from this lockpicking service is for me to call somebody else.
The untrained technician then reassembles my lock handle and I escort her out of the building.
In summary, she misdiagnoses the lock problem and is ultimately unable to provide any help and she wastes both of our times.
Two stars for the estimate being $ 75 (which is cheaper than the locksmith I ultimately ended up using). Otherwise, it would have been one star.

I spent the past few days freaking out because I was locked out of the storage unit attached to my condo. I’m a new home owner and this is the first time I couldn’t just call the landlord to get me back in when I lost my keys. I did a whole bunch of panicking (being an adult is scary) and researching before breaking down and calling Pop-​A-​Lock on my day off. Let me assure you — it went as smoothly as possible. The woman who helped me was super friendly and really fast! they gave me the best quote in town and stuck to it when they were here. Was even nice enough to tell me to check with my insurance company to see if they could reimburse me for the service. If I ever lose a key again they will be the first ones I call, no freak-​out required.

quick, friendly, professional, skilled, and very fairly priced… what more cond you ask for from a locksmith? i’m very pleased and would call pop-​a-​lock to replace the locks on my home again.

Roadside tech was exceptionally friendly, prompt, and got the job done. Price normal. One star off for the dispatcher screwing up what year and model my car was hence the tech and I got to chat a little to get the details straight.

I cannot emphasize how grateful I am.
When I lost my keys, I called Pop-​A-​Lock for roadside assistance. I was in something of a panic, but the locksmith was very professional and reassuring. They gave me a reasonable quote and an ETA, and that was that.
Then, literally minutes before the locksmith arrived, I found my keys.
Despite the inconvenience to them, and despite the extremely late cancellation, I was not charged in any way. In fact, rather than any complaint, I got genuine well-​wishes, and much appreciated advice about the least expensive way to get replacement keys made.
I’m a broke college student without any extra cash to spare. I really owe this place a big thank you.

I called them twice to schedule service and both times I was told the locksmith would call me back in 10 – 20 minutes. Never heard from them again. Was a complete waste of time and will not be attempting to use them again.

My boyfriend has a tendency to lose most things in his possession so when he lost our only set of car keys I had to call Pop A Lock. Not sure how the prices usually run for a key replacement sort of thing but it was 125 $ for 2 keys. That’s a lot of money for anything but it was necessary. They arrived on time and are open ²⁴⁄₇ which is convenient and were friendly and fast. The whole process only took an hour exactly.

Had a flat yesterday, maybe the second ever for me. Luckily, I discovered it when I was trying to leave my garage. I don’t know how to put on the temporary tire, and I don’t want to learn. Better World Club dispatch sent a guy from Pop-​A-​Lock. They said he’d arrive in about 55 minutes, and that turned out to be true. He was totally nice and professional, and he took great care of the situation. He even noticed my temporary tire was looking pretty low, and used a wee air pump to fill it up.
I’ve never called for roadside assistance before, and it didn’t occur to me until the guy was leaving that I probably should tip him, but my wallet was upstairs. I apologized and told him he had my sincere gratitude. He seemed cool with that.
