Stopped in to get a set of keys and also just so happened to need a car key made, too. Funny how that happens when you lose your keys! I had not expected they would have the car key and it saved me a trip to the dealer! Yes! They helped me out right away, cut the auto key, made sure it worked in the ignition and door, too! I was so appreciative!

I tried for nearly two weeks to retain the services of another highly rated locksmith service and never even got a response. I used precision’s web contact form in a last ditch effort to get some work done and had a call back the next business day with apologies for taking so long! I explained my situation and the difficulty I was having getting some work done on the quick, and these folks went above and beyond to find a way to squeeze me into the schedule. I fully get the impression that this place really is a family run and sincere, caring business, and not just paying lip service to that ideal in an effort to sound friendly. They actually seem that way to me, at least as far as every interaction I have had so far both on the phone and In person. The techs were at my house precisely on time. They did excellent work and I could really tell they cared about their work, quality, and respect for my house. Soooooo glad the other place never bothered to call me back; forcing me to keep searching until I found Precision. And the total cost for what I had done left me stunned. I could not believe how reasonable the price was for the work. And the techs were super friendly; and as I am a curious person by nature I like to hover and ask questions and they totally explained everything and answered all of my questions and wow. Just wow. They are supper amazing they came out for a different call and we had just gotten locked out of our car. The guy was nice enough to unlock our car free of charge. He was super quick and super friendly.

I came in here about a year ago to have my car keys made and a new remote. The employees there are very knowledgable about products and are their prices are super reasonable. I had to come in today and have some more keys made and its nice to walk into a business where everyone is friendly and smiling. I have been to another place closer to my house… no names but their prices were outrageous and the customer service was not great at all. Thank you Precision!

These are the friendliest guys ever, went here when Freddie’s was unable to cut my key with their equipment and the automated home depot machine had no success either. Should’ve gone here from the start, knowledgeable and very informative on giving me options.

These guys are Lifesavers! Today I was moving entirely too fast, and locked my keys inside of my house. My neighbor recommended that I give Precision and that’s exactly what I did. I was quoted a flat rate in which was very inexpensive and was told that they would arrive in 12 minutes, in actuality they probably arrived in less than 10 minutes which was great.
Unfortunately, I have high security locks on my front doors so Bill was unable to just get the door popped open right away and had to call for backup. As frustrating as he was probably beginning to get, he promised that he would get my door open no matter how long it took and 2 ½ hours later, he did just that. He also offered to make me an additional spare key at no additional cost which was very nice of him.
I would most definitely recommend this company. They are honest, inexpensive and very hard workers.

I needed all of the locks in my house re-​keyed ASAP. I called Precision Locksmith Service on a Thursday afternoon, and got an appointment for Friday morning! Ross arrived promptly, got right to work, and was done in just 30 minutes! The fee was very affordable, Ross was a really nice guy, and I will sleep well tonight knowing that my house is secure! Within 10 minutes Precision Locksmith was there to save the day. It took them less than a minute to retrieve my keys. Best service I’ve ever had from a Locksmith. And they were friendly!

Ross from Precision Locksmith Service just saved my life. I was house/​pet sitting for my coach, went outside to play with the dog, and OF COURSE locked myself out. On a Sunday. I sheepishly went to a neighbor’s house to borrow a phone, and after a few dead-​end attempts with other locksmiths, called Precision. They gave me a price right there on the phone and said they’d be there in no more than a half hour. Ross was prompt and friendly and made me feel a little less loserly for having locked myself out. The actual locksmithing itself took almost no time at all, and he checked with me to make sure he was charging me the price I was given over the phone. There was a $ 10 difference, for which he apologized and gave me the lower of the two. «Giving someone one price and charging them more just isn’t right,» he said. Much appreciated!
Overall, fast, friendly, honest, and available to help the desperate on a Sunday afternoon. Hoping I don’t have to use them again, but I definitely, definitely would should the circumstance arise.

I locked my keys in my car #dumbbrunette and I don’t have AAA so I called around to compare price and they were the best! $ 80 flat. They were out within 30 minutes, spent about 2 minutes getting into the car, didn’t damage the car at all & were very professional. Would definitely use again, but hopefully I’ll never have to.

I called AAA because my commuter car’s ignition didn’t work (key could not turn). I had this problem before, but this time the usual trick didn’t work.
In less than an hour they were in my driveway, and 40 min after that the Precision Locksmith employee had removed the lock and replaced it with an better after market model and keyed it to the old key.
I should be trouble free for the rest of the life of this car.
All for AAA membership and $ 75 — a bargain, because the dealership had quoted me over $ 200 (going on memory — it was some time ago).
I will call them again– professional service with a smile.

I had an issue with my USPS lock on a Friday evening. Nate was very helpful and opened the store doors for me. Not only did he provide me with a new lock, he walked me through on how to install the lock on my mailbox. He is truly a blessing. He was able to provide me with an excellent customer service and I will definitely recommend this store to anyone who has issues with their locks.

Went to get two copies of my car keys. Took less than 15 minutes without an appointment and got a $ 40 discount just because.

I work for a property management company and Precision is the only locksmith I will use! Not only are they absolutely friendly and professional but one of the most easy to work with vendors! They have always been fair in pricing and very quick to respond when I need something done.

I’m couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Precision Locksmith. I have a home safe that wouldn’t open. Steve first tried to help me over the phone; when I still wasn’t able to open it, he scheduled an appointment to come to my home. A couple of hours later, he arrived and got the safe open in minutes. The charge was only $ 100; I was expecting to pay several times that for a Technician to make a home visit. I strongly recommend Precision Locksmith.

The technician came to my new house to re-​key the front door and change out some locks. He was very knowledgeable and even suggested ways for me to avoid extra expenses related to my new purchase. They are now my go-​to lock company in Portland.

This afternoon, we received service from Hans, a mobile locksmith at Precision Locksmith. I lost my car keys at a coffee shop in Lake Oswego and pulling Precision was pretty much luck of the draw through our AAA membership.
Hans reached us far faster than we expected and he worked his heiny off to get a key fitted for my car. My car key code was unavailable so he had to hustle for some time to cut the key just right to fit my ignition. He was quick, efficient, and unbelievably nice.
Despite the heat — which made me cranky, and I was sitting in the shade — Hans was unfailingly pleasant. He made me promise to write my car key code down so it would be cheaper and faster if this ever happened again. Overall, the bill was under $ 100. Great work and wonderful customer service.

Our front door was almost shot; it was only going to be a matter of time before it got stuck shut. I called Precision and they came out the next day and quickly determined what was wrong (the spindle and latch). He ran and got a replacement part and took care of it. He also examined our garage door and replaced the lock there, which was in even worse shape. After all this, the bill came in under $ 175. Highly recommended!

I went to Precision Locksmith today to get a door lock on my car fixed. I can’t think of anything really bad about them, so they get 5 stars from me.
My car’s driver door lock wouldn’t turn, so I couldn’t unlock it from the outside. When I brought my car to this place, they weren’t busy at all (it was a Tuesday afternoon), so someone was available right away to help — that was nice. It took about 45 minutes to fix. Labor was $ 101, and that would have been all I had to pay, except that my door lock was in pretty bad shape. I bought a new lock for $ 60 (they matched it to my key), so I paid $ 161 in total. I don’t know if this is more than I would have paid somewhere else, but as far as an auto repair job goes, I don’t think this was too bad.
While you wait for your service to get done, they have a few chairs in their lobby with some magazines to read. They also have a couple baby toys in their lobby for those with toddlers.
Besides providing locksmith services, Precision Locksmith also sells locks and safes, and they also duplicate keys.
