I was referred here from someone who helped me at another business, and even though I had to drive down from northeast (in rainy rush hour), the effort was worth it and I’ll go again.
I’ve never bought a piece of my own and had no clue what I was doing, but with a week into another round of headaches and migraines, I wanted to investigate my options.
Catfish was one of the people I was told to ask for, and who ended up helping me. What a total gem! He was knowledgeable and explained what I needed to know, answered my questions, but was never condescending. He didn’t correct my rookie mispronunciations, and never tried to upsell me, listening VERY carefully to what I was asking for and directing me to exactly that.
There were incredibly beautiful pieces on display and lots to look at, but I didn’t linger, since I was just trying to buy something simple.
I can see why I was referred here and I’m glad I didn’t hesitate to make the trip.

Dropped by today to buy a new grinder. The guy helping me was very knowledgeable about the different styles and tiers they offered. I ended up getting the best one even though I wasn’t looking to spend that much because it was so nice, so he ended up giving me a discount. Seems like a very nice shop, I will be back for any other needs I have for sure.

This is the best shop in Portland for functional glass art. They carry the best variety of local and national artists. The staff is understanding and helpful with whatever you may need. They may not allow kids in their shop but is a smoke shop really a place to be bringing your children? Anyway, mellow is the spot if your in portland and need any sort of smoking accessories or functional art. It’s the only place I go for glass.

Great selection and prices… however, I have now purchased 2 pieces here and had to take them home and clean them because they tasted like incense. Really gross. Also, some lady working behind the counter had her dog in there and she had to keep chasing it out the door, leaving customers waiting. Both chicks in there were snobby. Felt like we were in Nordstroms, not accommodating at all.

Are you a connoisseur type of smoker? Do you like the option of having choices? Then this is the place for you. I’ve always had my in’s and out’s about a couple of the other shops around town, either being to pricey for low end glass or not having much of a selection at all. But here they have everything you could imagine and more. Low end to High Class and you get what you pay for. Pricing is very honest as well as the friendly staff. I’ve been coming here since they’ve opened and have yet to go back to another shop! OMMP discounts for those of you who can take advantage of that. Don’t pass this place up, It has earned my trust and respect in local glass scene!

One of the better shops smoke shops off Hawthorne. Array of glass from low end to high end pieces. They have a decent selection of electronic cigarette juice and accessories as well which is nice to see. Decent prices and the staff is nice and helpful.

Nice people, but clueless and unprofessional. I’ve had a bad experience at the Hawthorne store, and today at the downtown store. I called and explained very clearly that I was seeking tubing for a Vapezilla or Evolutions vape. Employee said we have it, come on down. I did, and after 15 mins of searching store, turns out it was the wrong size tubing. I then got a lecture as to how a box vape works. Explained, again, that I wanted the hose to a Vapezilla or Evoliutions, and that I was aware how vapes worked, I just needed the hose. She checked the PC to confirm they had one at the other store across town. They did! I asked — for the 5th time — if it would just be the hose. Not the glass, just the hose. She said «It’s only sold it sets», and that she was not familiar with the Vapzilla. It is NOT only sold in sets. It was a waste of 30 mins of my day, and very insulting to not have the salesperson listen to what I said 5 times. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

the finest glass in Oregon! Disc golf, chris carlson, endless dab love tools and bits. staff is chill and super on it. Love it, glass blowers in my family up from santa cruz, they were very impressed and it was like we were in disneyland family vacation, stayed there for so long and picked up some nice local legend treasures. Catfish come out to hood and do it up as promised!

I love going to this shop just to see the amazing glass art. Of course they have everything I could possibly need (and a good amount of things I just plain WANT) but what impressed me the most was the awesome staff. They were happy and excited to find me something I would love. I picked up a few pieces that I was almost happy with before the person helping me pointed out one a few cases over that I had completely missed. It was perfect!
SO glad you guys made the move out west!

Interesting selection. They have some really cool glass pieces, but I won’t buy anything and I probably won’t go back in here because there were three staff members in the store and not one of them even acknowledged us. My husband was going to look for a couple of things and buy a small item or two but none of the staff bothered to say hello, offer to help, or even look up. There were no other customers. This place is a little weird from the other places in town that do similar things where the staff is really friendly and the store is delightfully cluttered. The set up of this store is really nice. I like the way everything is displayed, but if the staff isn’t concerned about selling any product, then they aren’t going to be around long anyway.

For selection on glass pieces you really cannot beat this place. The prices are very reasonable and even if you aren’t interested in buying one you should stop in to see the art pieces they have. It seemed like most of the glass is locally made and the employees are happy to tell you more about it.
Everyone working was really helpful and nice and it’s super clean in there. maybe a little too clean, kinda feels sterile for a head shop but I’m sure they are still growing into their space.
They are tucked in a corner shop between the Pita Pit and the Hawthorne Hop House.

Hands down one of the best glass shops I’ve been to in Portland! It’s huge, very clean, and has an amazing selection. They have a great range of very pricey pieces for the more picky smokers, all the way down to some really sturdy, awesome looking pieces in the $ 15 – 20 range. I was very impressed – and the gentleman behind the counter (I kinda got the impression that he may have been an owner, but I’m not positive) was very friendly and helpful.
I bought a glass pipe (curley-​cue, semi-​fancy), hemp rolling papers, and a huge box of Nag Champa – it was about $ 30 for everything!
