Comments: Red — Person in charge did not know the correct concentration of sanitizer for solution in rinse sink. Employee did not wash hands prior to shift start and cooking. Use of bare hands noted when making waffle cone and after removing from plastic cone shaping tool. Employee did not use gloves while handling ready-​to-​eat foods. Hand-​wash station was blocked and could not be used. Bananas found not covered and not stored properly. No sanitizer found on station or being used. Blue — Lids on soft serve machine dusty. Reinspection — A reinspection was performed on March 29, where there were 25 red violations noted.

The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful, so I give it three stars due to the great service. I ordered a mango smoothie bubble tea with classic tapioca pearls. The size and price were reasonable. They also had a huge range of dairy free flavors available with real fruit. (I got so excited!) Unfortunately, the tapioca pearls were far from what I am used to. I drink bubble tea every chance I get, and have tried many different types from different places (and until now, I’ve never been disappointed), but these pearls tasted disgusting, as if they were too old maybe? The texture was odd and it left a icky taste in my mouth. They may have other good eats, so maybe it’s worth a try for something else?

Two stars for the coffee ice cream that my mother and I ordered and love from most places but here it tastes bland and not coffee enough like the bask in Robbins one which is also cheaper and for one scoop waffle cone 4.99 ice cream I expected more. the older guy behind the counter was nice I guess. The asian lady not so much. rushed me away when I had a question and told me the guy helping me will finish helping me so pretty much move out her way so she can get to another customer behind me.whatever. Most likely not coming back, unless if I want to try something else.

Worst place ive been in entire life. Ordered a forzen yogurt smoothie, and coffee milk shake and a kids ice cream cone. So… they dont have frozen yogurt (crazy, hence the name?!) She made it with icecream with out even telling me, when I called her out on it she said «well we dont have any, what do you want me to do?» So I told her I didnt want it then, my husband ordered the coffee milkshake so she asked him (for the third time) what he wants. He says again a coffee milkshake and she says «we dont have any milk, so what do you want?» And last but not least… my child’s ice cream cone came in a bowl… pretty sure its called a cone for a reason!

However, I cannot say the same for their milkshakes. My recommendation is to not buy a milkshake when it is above 60° outside Overall I have a very healthy respect for this place. The ice cream is actually very good, and it’s right up there with Tillamook ice cream. Maybe I just get very weird ice cream batches. My shakes are always runny and warm.

I can only rate the boba here, since that was all I got.
This is going to be brutally honest-​it sucks. It’s not real boba. I’m from Cali so I guess I am spoiled with all the quality boba shops in my area (there are literally 7 tea places within a one mile radius).
First of all, the girl making my order took forever. I’m not used to inexperience workers, as back home the baristas move fast fast fast. She bent over to look at the instructions on the wall every step, and I was getting really impatient.
Next, I saw them blending my drink. Blending. I have never seen a shop actually blend milk tea, so I was shocked. In my area every shop shakes it (but then again, the cup wasnt exactly shakeable).
As for the taste of the drink itself-​brutually sweet. The boba was hard and unsatisfactory, the milk tea was extremely sweet and hard to swallow. I ended up throwing ¼ of it away, because I couldn’t handle the taste.
My conclusion is that bubble tea looks attractive to Americans, but it’s not the real milk tea. It’s overly sweet and just not made right at all. It’s kinda like a worse, more Americanized version of Quicklys. If you want to experience real milk tea, or you appreciate the tea in your boba, do not come here.
That being said, I think they should stick to ice cream, because they look good and probably taste better than the bubble tea.

I’m giving this place three stars because the person helping behind the counter was very friendly. I ordered two scoops of cookies and cream ice cream in a bowl. The portion was giant. Unfortunately the ice cream tasted old. It has almost a gluey consistency and didn’t taste right. I ended up throwing most of it away. With so much competition in town you would think they would try and have fresh, qualify items on their menu

This is located on the third floor of the Llyod Mall where the food court is. There menu is GIGANTIC with lots of options to choose from. You can order boba tea drinks, smoothies, shakes, fraps, coffee, soft serve, froyo, ice cream – I mean, I can go on for days but you get the idea.
My family and I were trying to kill some time before catching a movie so we decided to get some ice cream. I shared a vanilla soft serve on a waffle cone with my fiancé and it was very watered down and disappointing. The waffle cone was not crunchy, probably because it was stale. The soft serve is advertised as low in calorie, but I guess it was low in flavor as well. It totally did not satisfy our sweet tooth and went in the trash half way through.

Let’s get down to it.
I always get the bubble tea. It’s always been good. They have a huge variety of stuff from ice cream to shakes etc. Service is fine. Every time I come by Lloyd I hit it up. Always been good for me.

I have to agree with the other reviews for this place. I ordered a boba tea and I took it back because it was watery tasting. While i waited the man behind the counter told me in order to make the smoothies creamy consistency they needed to add the powder. Im glad i asked if they were Vegan first because the added powder is not vegan free. He offered to make me a new one with a soy powder and i agreed. My complaint is the way he spoke to me. He was politely rude and a bit mad that i even came back. I wanted to walk away right in the middle of our conversation but i got my drink and told myself I will not be visiting this place anymore

Bubble teas were just added to their offerings. I tried an avocado bubble tea and it was DISGUSTING! It tasted like DUST! «DUSGUSTING!»
I made the mistake of ordering it because I didn’t know they use powdered ingredients, instead of real fresh fruit.

They should just stick to ice cream and yogurt. I warn you again to stay away. Their bubble tea is PRICEY and AWFUL!

Just so you know it. It’s totally a smart business idea to sell bubble tea drinks at a store, because the profit is tremendously rewarding. The drinks are made out of favored powder, and the cost to make one drink is only about .50. The store sells the drink for $ 5 each, it’s a 500% profit for each drink being sold. What a brilliant idea!
Today, I’m not complaining the mark up on the drinks. I love bubble tea, and I do not mind paying $ 5 for it. My complaint is, when I ordered a drink today and it tastes not good at all. I nicely told «whoever worked behind the counter», and wanted to have an exchange to another favor. The «whoever» immediately refused, and told me they have sold hundreds of them and never had any complaints. He said it was my problem that I didn’t like it.
I didn’t argue with him and I was just thinking, this «whoever» wanted to save the owner TWO QUARTERS, and then lose a customer forever or more customers. What a dumb Axx! I told my friends, and we all laughed. Conclusion: this DUDE is definitely not a SMART business guy. So long All American Ice Cream @Lloyd Center!
