Tiger Trux Towing

While the few reviews on here deal with personal assistance calls, there is a side to this business you should also know. Also known as Image Auto Body. They have a contract with the Pflugerville Police department which allows them to charge exorbitant fees ($ 179.00 to tow my car 2 blocks! and that despite the fact that their form says $ 150-​still high!) This would be ridiculous even if insurance paid as people like this are the reason insurance rates are so high but my case is even worse. My car was towed without my consent when I was involved in a complicated car accident. I was not in any way at fault but due to the circumstances of the accident, the insurance companies are fighting over who should pay and in the meantime, my car is stuck at this tow shop (which I would NOT have consented to as I have friends in the bodyshop industry and would have asked the car to be towed to one of their locations). «Tony», aka Toufik Aboudaoud, who I was told was the owner but calls himself the General Manager, is merciless. He refuses to work with me and only allowed me to claim my belongings but will not release my car. I have no problem covering any actual cost he incurred but I am an INNOCENT victim and he should not be allowed to hide behind his contract to take advantage and further victimize me by charging me hundreds of dollars due to the complications of this situation. There are friendly people here but I feel sorry for the fact that they have to work for such a cruel and merciless man and because of him, I hope you will consider avoiding this shop. And if you have the misfortune of being in an accident in Pflugerville, do not allow them to tow your car! Call a private tow company and get it towed to a shop that works with your insurance. You will be taken advantage of if you allow them to tow it here.

Our vehicle broke down over the weekend and we thought it would be very costly since it was SXSW weekend. The rate was very fair at $ 80.00. The driver came way before the time promised and Mason was a joy to talk to. No one ever wants to be towed but if you ever need it, I highly recommend Tiger Trux.

Service does get better than this!!! My son’s car broke down on his way home from school. After I got off work, I picked him up and we drove to the location where he parked his car. I called Tiger Trux Towing after reading a positive review on Unilocal.I was told that it would be about a 90 minute wait and a $ 85 charge. The wait was less than 90 minutes and the driver loaded the car on the truck, brought the car home, unloaded it and parked it in my driveway in less than an hour. He even told me what might possibly be the problem. If only all service related transactions were this easy and positive.

The other day I needed my 51′ F1 towed for repair on my control arms. Lewis with tiger trux called me when he was 10 mins away to get to my house and called when he arrived 8 mins later. As my truck is a little on the lowered side he inspected all around looking for previous damage and pointed out anything he saw. After being very careful loading and unloading my baby I was very impressed with the professionalism and great price for a custom truck getting towd for repairs. I would recommend TIGER TRUX TOWING to anybody I know needing a tow and more drivers like Lewis to operate tow trucks these days. Thanx ALOT and keep up the good work guys!!! five star guys!

I have dealt with many towing companies over the decades. This one is a chart topper. The dispatch was polite and clear. The driver called ahead and gave an accurate estimate of when he would be here. He did is work quickly, efficiently, and gladly. They were upfront and reasonable in their pricing.

No one *wants* to need a tow truck.
When my stepson decided that his Toyota Rav-​4 didn’t need oil for about 3 months, and left shards of engine all over 290 near Manor, we called our insurance’s roadside assistance. They sent Tiger Trux. We were worried because it was in a bad spot, and a UT football game was on. Sure enough, when the driver arrived, he said he was at a family gathering watching the game. But he got there quickly, was courteous, and careful with the deceased. The way he placed the car against our curb when he dropped it off was masterful.
Fast forward to a foggy morning a few weeks ago when I slid off the slippery MoPac access, striking the curb (WHAMMO) and snapping my tie rod, I remembered the good service previously provided and asked my insurance company for their number again. Before I could even blink (thankfully, as I was worried I’d be rear-​ended by a texting morning commuter), Randall was there with the flat bed. Nice as can be. («We’re not going far, so I“ll just charge you the minimum.») Now, a broken tie rod, and a right wheel pointing perpendicular to the road and not really connected to anything, increases the difficulty a bit. And I do like my car. A lot. So I was worried a bit. But he did things with the hydraulic ramp that I couldn’t imagine (pic added), and safely aboard we were ready to roll.
He even complimented me because «usually customers aren’t this nice». I was all… It’s my dumb fault, not yours. Why would I be mad at you? But yeah, he does see folks at some of their low points. Got to the repair shop, and they told him to put the car in a pretty inaccesible spot, or so I thought. Before I even knew, he had it perfectly placed in a parking spot. Not bad for a car that couldn’t roll.
Whenever I need towing services, especially north, I’ll be calling Tiger Trux Towing.
