I LOVE this place! Very down to earth, they explain things without talking down or treating me like a «damn Yankee». P They just have a little bit of everything. Seeds, plants, pots, anything agricultural, sheds, chickens, coops, feeds for every kind of critter you have! Service is awesome. The gentlemen(and I do mean gentlemen) always help me carry out my feeds and heavier items! Love to shop local… They also used recycled bags and boxes for their items!

Love this place! Old timey country store. Most nicest helpful people. Just the basics and some odd ball stuff missing from big chains. Best wild bird food. I have picky swuirrels and this is the only place I can get their preferred mixture!

I love Gaddy’s. We are a mom and pop business and have used them for both business and personal purchases. I love their individual attention and well explained solutions to any of my pest problems. I also love their tree selection, but nothing beats their friendly helpful customer service.

Love, love, love this store. They can answer questions on plants, plumbing, saws, whatever. Small Town feel and within walking distance!

Location is convenient, however their return policy isn’t. I bought the largest bag of Taste of the Wild dog food while my Shih Tzu’s were finishing up their previous bag, and a couple weeks later found out I was going to be out of town with my dogs for an extended period. I called Gaddy’s to ask if I could return the unopened bag and purchase the smaller size, so as to not have to carry a huge amount of dog food around in my car. They said no, for«safety reasons.» I’ll go back to purchasing at Tractor Supply or Tomlinson’s.

Great local spot. I’ve been here quite a few times, mostly for supplies related to my chickens. I will say, I wish they carried more types of feed, but overall, selection isn’t horrible. Also, the customer service is unbeatable. You tell them what you need, and they are immediately showing you where it is and talking to you about your project. Great people.

Im going to give them 4 stars on service and atmosphere alone. The staff is super friendly and if you just need a simple piece of hardware pesticide plants or livestock feed this is the place to go. Its so much easier than the big box hardware store down the block to just get in and out. Sometimes I still wander through the Home depot if I want a bigger selection but I try to give my money to the local guy whenever possible. I returned to buying my Livestock feed from them because Tractor supply feed was not worth the 1.50 per bag I thought I was saving quality wise. You can’t expect a mom and pop hardware store to have the selection of the corporate players. But what they don’t have in inventory they more than make up for in customer service.

I recently visited Gaddy’s again for some basic needs. The baby chickens reminded my of the feed store I went to as a little girl. I don’t go to the orange box anymore unless I just have to. You just don’t find this level of customer service anymore. Customer for life.

Really nice folks, good for finding odd pieces you can’t quite find at Home Depot or Wal-Mart has a feel of a hardware store from a few decades ago.(which I like) Some of the prices are a little higher than a Wal-Mart, but it is worth it to support this kind of business, you cant help but get all kinds of ideas of new projects to under take walking around there, and they have all kinds of native type plants to buy.

Very nice small hardware store/nursery. Decent selection of plants. Staff knowledgeable. A fun place to go kill time and buy some plants.

We’ve been patrons of Gaddy’s for 8 years and are extremely happy with the service they provide. If we don’t know what we are doing with something plant related(which we never do), one of us will say«let’s just go ask the guy at Gaddy’s, he’ll know what to do». And he always does. He has helped us pick the right products to get rid of nasty weeds, plant diseases and pests. We’ve purchased many shrubs and trees here as well as rented a tiller for a very low price making DIY landscaping very affordable. I actually think that the prices are pretty comparable to the big box stores so may as well shop here and get the service and advice on what you are actually buying. I’ve been to a few other nurseries in the area and Gaddy’s is by far the best!

I have to give them another star because even though they aren’t a big box store I walked in, said«I am doing» such and such and the man was out from behind the counter and walking me over to the exact right product that I needed. In and out in under five minutes and exactly what I came to get. How often can you say that about anywhere you shop?

this place is great, lots of trees(fruit and non fruit), seeds, transplants, herbs, etc. they got dirt they got pots, they got nuts and bolts, and hardware type stuff, heck, even kitchen stuff. its small, some items are over priced, but as far as thier plant selection goes, nothing exotic, very nice and good plants. oh and they also have lots of flower plants as well.

I agree they don’t have the huge selection of the big orange box store up the street but i kind of like them for that. They do have very personable service and very knowledgeable associates. I should know. I was part of the management for big orange box company for many years. I still can manage to find most items I need here when working around the house and some things that can’t be found up the street. Poultry and animal feed, kitschy décor and kitchen ware anyone? I am so glad they survived the orange behemoth opening up the street. I do love living in Pflugerville also and wish them all the best.
