Came by around 7:45am yesterday to get an inspection. I was in and out in 15 mins… friendly service and pfast… just like the name!

What a great crew over at Pfast Lube. Went in with a car needing an inspection and oil change. They had someone sitting there helping to check windshield issues, and had everything done in a matter of minutes. I hate getting my oil changed or anything like that because I feel they see a girl and start «adding» things that need to be done. With Gus’ team I was told one thing needed to be replaced, by showing me exactly what was wrong with it, and what it’s doing to my car. My oil was changed and I wasn’t having to argue with them about which oil I wanted to use. Most other places tell me I have to use X and of course it’s so much more! Pfast is hardly the word to describe these amazing individuals who work here. Super nice, friendly, and have told everyone who lives in my neighborhood about this shop! Went I for a smog check, and oil change was driving out 15 minutes later.

First off I can’t say enough good things about these guys. I’ve been here in the past for oil changes and inspections but this was my first experience here getting a repair done on my car. After being treated horribly at Firestone, these guys came to my rescue. We determined that I had a bad alternator. After purchasing a new alternator they installed it for me quickly and efficiently. Not only was their work superb but they came in an hour before opening accommodate my previous appointments that I had already scheduled. A+ service from some wonderful guys. I highly recommend them.

Excellent service, they work for your business without ripping you off! The prices are far less than some other places nearby.

This place is called PF Lube now. I usually do my oil changes myself because I don’t trust shops like this, but I just moved to the area and I didn’t have a garage so I decided to try this place out.
I got an oil change and I requested that they flush the anti-​freeze. The oil change was expensive, but otherwise fine as far as I can tell. However upon checking the coolant after I left, I noticed that they did not flush the anti-​freeze.
Taking advantage of customers like this is unethical and I will not be returning.

I decided to try out a small shop and boy did I pay for it. I went in for an inspection sticker and was given the (wiper blades, belt, parking brake, power steering fluid, etc.) I asked them to button it up and I would take it to my mechanic. Now to be fair, the parking brake did need to be tightened and one of the hoses to the power steering needed a new clamp. My mechanic checked over everything and I returned. I stated the belt and the wipers do not need replacing they have been inspected. Well that didn’t seem to go over well with the larger guy — telling me he never said anything about the belt. To which I replied no you didn’t but it’s one of the reasons (piece of paper) you failed my truck. I said… that does say belt doesn’t it? He mumbled something and went over to his employees (who he does nothing but scream at). I walked inside and in no less than one minute one of them came over to tell me there is power steering fluid on the sway bar so they will not pass it but they could fix it. Mind you they did not look for a leak just ran their hand on the sway bar. It had not been cleaned but they wouldn’t hear that. I asked if there was a leak they found. Rather than argue I said thanks and went over to my mechanics place. He was dumbfounded at their actions. His crew washed the power steering fluid from the truck and took it over there themselves. They got the sticker put on the truck but stated they really tried to find a leak at all costs.
PFast is not the place you want to take your vehicle for an inspection or for anything else. They will find something for you to buy, up sell you at all costs. Stay away from this place and go elsewhere you will thank me. Horrible customer service, horrible management and just a terrible place all around. I will spread the word as much as I can to steer clear from this place. Perhaps they should be inspected themselves.

They were super friendly & fast! The place has upgraded since the pervious owners (years ago) and I have to recommend coming here for an oil change/​inspection! There prices are also one of the lowest in thee area.

Gus and the crew do a great job and always let me know what’s due on the car maintenance wise. Also have been very open to allowing me to being in my own parts for various jobs.

My wife took her car to be inspected at this place, attempting to use a local business instead of an oil change chain that forces sales on all of their clientele.
I came home from work and was told we had to buy new wiper blades to pass inspection. Thinking the cost would be about $ 20-​$ 25 for a decent set of replacement blades I didn’t think it was a big deal until I saw the cost of the $ 52 set we purchased. The salesmen told her the cheaper blades would need replacement in 6-​months to a year, so those were the best bet. An option was given.
I disagreed with the value of the purchase and took the blades back to the business as soon as I was home from work, the same day. I went to another major chain store to purchase a cheap set of blades and had already removed the $ 52 set. I parked and was immediately greeted by a gentleman attempting to be very courteous, but almost invasive. I told him I was simply here to return a product and he escorted me into the not-​so-​busy business. There were about 6 – 8 male employees in the office, all but one or two sitting down.
I spoke to the gentleman at the desk and firmly but politely asked for a refund of the blades. He graciously started to process my request, but then an employee named «Gus», a very large man with lots of tattoos in his mid-​to-​late 50s rises from his chair and investigates the receipt and says, «So you just bought wipers to pass the inspection and now you’re returning them?»
A quick but terse discussion between Gus and I ensued as he attempted to tell me how my marriage should work with my wife; going way over the line as a service provider. We eventually shook hands and moved on.
After all was said and done, the business did refund the cost of the blades upon me returning them, but not without a ruckus. Another gentleman, what appeared to be the on-​duty manager behind the computer, did attempt to smooth over the situation but only after I retorted that Gus should learn about social media before treating people in such a manner. The other gentleman took that as threat to the business and forcefully told me to «stop threatening the business», so I shut up until he refunded my $ 52.
Then, a few days later, I was driving my wife’s car and noticed a pile of plastic white shavings on the dashboard from the previous inspection sticker they removed. They had replaced the sticker but left the mess from scraping it — great customer service! Then, we were driving to Dallas a few days later on I-​35 and I notice the hood bouncing up and down. For some reason they had to pop the hood to inspect our car (not sure why!:
) and didn’t re-​latch it properly. This made me really concerned as they also told me they inspected our transmission fluid levels and was concerned they may not have re-​tightened other components properly.
This business caused me too much anxiety in too short a time. We went for a simple inspection and got a ton of drama for no reason at all.

I’ve been going here for the past 4 years for my oil changes. For the most part, I’ve been happy with the service except for my last visit. When I pulled in, I mentioned I needed air in my tires as well as an oil change. When I checked out, I asked again if my tires had air added to them (my low tire pressure light was lit up on my dashboard). The guy at the checkout (who looked miserable to be working) nodded his head. I even checked my receipt to see if air had been added (the receipt stated that it had — in fact, it stated 35psi when my car specifically says 32psi is what should be added). Pulling away, the low tire pressure light never went off — I’ve driven around for a week with the light still on and pulled back in yesterday to see if they could add air to my tires. Same miserable looking guy was working there that morning. He filled my tires and my light finally went off. Makes me question if my oil is actually getting changed when I bring my car in.
