History

Established in 2006.

Our business was conceived out of my love of design and sewing and my husbands ability to fabricate my sometimes seemingly impossible ideas into reality. We first opened Petaluma Textile and Design in 2006 in downtown Petaluma, California in a modest 420 square foot space. We were in demand from day one and spent the next seven years enjoying designing and creating custom window treatments, bedding and slipcovers for our many Petaluma neighbors, clients in neighboring cities and San Francisco.

Feeling cramped in our small space, in March of 2014

we got the opportunity to relocate one block south to 15 Western Ave., a much larger space and jumped at the chance! We are thrilled with our over 2100 square feet of elbow room! We now have an extensive fabric library and large workroom situated side by side and in clear view of the many pedestrians that wander by and into our shop.

We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and customer service and are grateful for our wonderful clients!

Business Owner

This husband and wife team’s many talents are a perfect combination. Tony is experienced in construction and has the ability to design and create solutions for even the most difficult windows and spaces. Desiree has been designing and sewing since she was allowed to use sharp scissors. Together they can design, create & install anything out of fabric for your home.
