The guys were very prompt. The cleaning was meh, he did the obligatory swirl swirl without attempting to go over stains at least second time (or swirl). There was an obvious larger stain and i asked if he could go over it s second try please. I realize old stains are just that old, and may not come out but their effort was just not there. They were in and out of my house in 45 minutes. Also the carpets were left very wet, he said 4 – 9 hours to dry… It took 24 hours with the heater on!!! Would not use these guys again, I was disappointed as reviews on Unilocal were mostly complimentary.

This place does wonders! They just left our apartment and I had to immediately post about their phenomenal work!
We had left over pine needles from Christmas and whatever else we tracked in from wonderful sidewalks of the Marina. Who knows the last time these carpets were cleaned; I wish I had the before pictures.
They are very affordable, expeditious and affable so don’t waste your money on a Groupon to save yourself a couple extra bucks. We will definitely get our rugs cleaned by them again!

Ben and the Bay Area Carpet Masters are an upstanding business, who are genuine and extremely helpful. I paid for delivery of a «slightly» used white couch from a friend (sight unseen); thinking it would be a great addition to my hone. She said there were stains but that 95% of them would come out with a steam clean. So, I get the couch to my apartment and the stains were bad. I decided instead of trying to do my own steam cleaning I’d bring the professionals in. I emailed Bay Area Carpet Master and BEN responded quickly with an EXTREMELY reasonable quote and was able to fit me 2 days from my inquiry. Wow!
On appointment day, David showed up on time with the much touted Galaxy 2000. He saw my couch and had the same reaction I did when I laid eyes on it. I knew then it was bad. David was hones & up front about what they could do. He said the couch was not in a great condition and that the steam and sanitation will make it better, but it won’t look like new or close to new. I agreed to move forward with the clean anyway. David did a phenomenal job, he hand scrubbed the couch and did a thorough deep clean. Though the couch looks much better, there was just some stains that didn’t come out. David managed my expectations up front; though I was still bummed at my crappy circumstances.
David on his own volition called Ben and came back and said given the state of the couch, Ben would discount my steam price. I was floored and obviously appreciative. Bay Area Carpet Master tried their best to work magic and did a great job given what they were faced with. Their professionalism, trust-​worthiness, and honesty is a rare find these days. Without a doubt, I would use them again for any and all type of upholstery and carpet cleaning services! Go with Ben and his team — you won’t regret it!

Bay Area Carpet Master came to our house and did a phenomenal job cleaning our couches. We had a small issue with them leaving our rugs/​floors wet, but once we posted on Unilocal about it they contacted us within minutes and arranged a time to come fix the problem. The cleaner came back and was super friendly and efficient.

These guys are great. I’ve used them twice and both times I was able to get a next day appointment. We have two dogs with white carpets and both times they were able to get the carpets looking and smelling like new again.

These guys were great, called them Monday night and they were here Tuesday morning at 9!
They were very fast and the guy did a great job on my couch – it was really dirty.

Ben is a miracle worker. My husband and I had brand new white wool carpet installed in our master bedroom and agreed to watch a friend’s dog who decided to «mark her territory» right in the center of the room. Ben was able to come out right away, treat the stain (and he happened to clean the entire carpet for no extra charge) and it looks as good as new. I’ll be calling Ben once a year to clean our bedroom carpets from now on!

With 3 cats and a dog my cream carpeting gets dirty! I have tried all the «name» carpet cleaners. However, Carpet Master is truly the best around. Friendly, knowledgeable,
efficient and somehow Ben gets all the stains out. My carpet looks brand new upon completion. This company will be my go to carpet cleaner forever!!!

I’m very happy with the results. I’ve lived here ten years, and the previous occupant was here for 15 years. Who knows how old the carpet is, or when they were last cleaned? There’s at least ten years of wine stains, coffee stains, chocolate stains, tracked-​in dirt from our shoes … and that’s just since I’ve lived here. So yeah, not everything came out and there are still some stains … but I’m very impressed by how much did come out. Also, they showed up on time (actually, 15 minutes early) and stayed the entire time working hard. I now plan to get my carpets done annually, and Bay Area Carpet Master will be my first call next time.

These guys cleaned our carpets today. They made it easy to make an appointment (all the other companies I called were booked for weeks), charged me a fair rate vs competitors, were on time and friendly in person, and finished the job promptly. And most importantly, my carpet is much cleaner now! I will definitely call them again in 6 months.

My carpets are cleaner than they have ever been! We were desperate to move into our unit when we signed our lease, so we opted to move in without the steam cleaning between tenants. Not only did Ben’s technician get out the stains we added to the carpet, but the Galaxy 2000 managed to lift out the old discoloration as well. The technician took his time to clean all the areas and did a very thorough job. The carpet even feels fluffier than before! Thanks Ben!

Thanks to the Galaxy 2000 (I ain’t making that up) their rug cleaner. Stains disappear like rationality from a Donald Trump speech.

I haven’t written a Unilocal review in a while, but this business went above and beyond my expectations that I had to post something. I have a toddler (who spills everything), a dog (who sheds like nobody’s business), a cat (who has a hairball problem), and wall to wall carpeting. Need I say more? I’ve used various businesses to clean my carpet with varying outcomes and prices. Bay Area carpet masters gave me a reasonable price for my entire condo, and they didn’t upcharge or nickel and dime me after the fact. The big plus for me was that they didn’t have an additional fee for a portable machine, since my condo isn’t easily accessible to use a standard truck mounted unit. The other Unilocalers hit the nail on the head. Ben and his team were professional, punctual, efficient, provided quality work and lived up to their 5star reviews.

I thought it was time to get new carpets, but now I know — all you do is call Bay Area Carpet Master. They were speedy, efficient and most importantly, the spots are gone and the carpets look amazing!

They are courteous, very thorough and very reasonable. I’ve tried nearly every carpet cleaning service and they are the BEST!!!

I waited a few days to give this review to Ben and his crew as most carpet cleaners do a quick and good looking job, but a little after the service many of the stains and spots come back and the carpet looks the same as before.
I had the opposite experience with the Carpet Masters. They cleaned my carpets two weeks ago, got out most the dirt and it’s still looks and smells great and nothing came back so far.
Also they were quick, friendly, and charged me what I was quoted over the phone prior the service.
I’m getting my carpets cleaned every six months and they can count my business if they keep up with the standard that they just set.

So fast! My beautiful puppy is a little shit (literally). My couch was so embarrassing, looks and smells! Right after I called they had someone come out with in 2 hours. He cleaned my couch and my floors! My couch is once again for human use and my house smells like a home.
One more thing. It was cheap!!! YEASSS

Bay Area Carpet Master is definitely the Grandmaster of carpet cleaning services in San Francisco. I am a small business owner and I know how influential honest reviews are — good or bad. I chose to close my skate board shop to care for my elderly parents after 21 years. I knew I had to have the «off white» carpets cleaned before I departed from the premise. Ok, let’s pause for 1 second. What’s wrong with this picture? Right — off white carpets and skateboard shop does not mix. The carpet was like a dirt magnet. Foot, paw and wheel prints tracked in on rainy days. UPS rolled in gunk when they delivered. There was no way to avoid the daily soot of Geary Blvd. After having all the display cases removed it was obvious that this cute little shop HAD «off white» carpets at one time and not grey. OMFG… I stressed thinking of two things. 1. Can those black stains throughout the shop be taken out and 2. How much is this going to cost?
I have always believed in supporting local and other small businesses because I know how difficult it is to compete with the big guys. The hard part is knowing how to choose the right carpet master. After making several phone calls, Master Ben won my business. He convinced me that he could work magic and to answer my 2 questions — YES, his staff miraculously removed the black stains and it was shockingly worth every penny. The carpets look better than the original state when I moved in. Ben proved that you can bring back the dead. He and his staff are professional, quick and efficient. I almost wanted to cry with joy. Seriously, they are frickin’ carpet magicians.
My gut choice was spot off!!! Epic from beginning to end!!! Support local!!!

I was shopping around for a deal and was disappointing when a couple of companies didnt show up after buying their groupon.
I found Bay Area Carpet Master «LivingSocial» deal and made sure to read the reviews beforehand.
I had a great experience, they actually showed up on time and it took him about 45min to finish. The guy was fast and friendly and my carpet looks brand new and smells like flowers! the best part of the experience is that they didn’t charge any hidden fees!!!
