LHS Construction

Wow, where to start. LHS Construction, including the owner Lance, and his entire team are truly amazing! They just completed a room conversion from a downstairs game room to a new bedroom with it’s own bathroom. He came in with the best bid, and even when we changed the scope of work, adding additional features to the remodel, he kept his cool and was able to stay within budget. During the remodel, we decided to have LHS also do some work in our kitchen/​great room, and all that I can say is that Lance and LHS Construction went far above and beyond what any other contractor would have done, and all at a perfectly reasonable cost. We have two bathrooms left to remodel, and there is nobody else that we would even consider performing this work. Lance is knowledgeable, truly gifted, and a wonderful, caring human being. If you have the opportunity to utilize LHS Construction, having them do the work would be the smart choice.

Lance and his team did an amazing job on our remodel. Our project consisted of a complete kitchen remodel, master bath remodel, garage drywall, and some pretty serious structural work which included removal of some load bearing interior walls. While the remodel was underway our family was living in a rental home, so we had an aggressive schedule of 6 weeks for the project. Lance was really easy to work with, flexible as the project scope changed, and extremely conscious of the project schedule. His team was courteous and professional — with every aspect of the project exceeding our expectations. I highly recommend LHS and will certainly call Lance for future home projects.

I can’t say enough good things about Lance. In addition to being able to do pretty much anything that would ever need to be done in a house, he’s just an extraordinary human being who brings a positive energy into my home. Among the many projects that he has done for me, and just to give a sense of his range, he has installed new circuits, linking them to my electric panel; installed several kitchen appliances; replaced a faulty pressure regulator on my water main; installed an expansion tank on my water heater (and diagnosed the need for one as the problem with my house’s wildly variable pressure), and made numerous other invaluable contributions to my home. He’s an honest, totally trustworthy, and genuinely kind person who is just a delight to work with. I’d love to be able to keep him a secret because he’s so fabulous, but he deserves the highest recommendation.

We were very happy with the work Lance and has team did. They remodeled 2 bathroom doing great tile work. As well as back deck and fence. All work he did was high-​end done in a timely fashion and a reasonable price I couldn’t ask for more in a contractor.

I hired LHS construction to do my kitchen remodel. Lance came by and gave a great estimate and also recommended some ideas for my kitchen that I hadn’t thought of previously. He was prompt, thorough, always cleaned up at the end of each day, and did very high quality work. I’m extremely happy with both the construction during the project and the result at the end and I highly recommend LHS.

I recently moved to Petaluma and bought my first house. Upon inspection, dry rot was discovered in 2 areas of the siding on the back patio. One area in particular was in a difficult spot to reach. I wanted to get this problem addressed before the rainy season began. A friend recommended Lance at LHS Construction. I could not be happier. From the very start, Lance was professional, courteous, and honest. He went above and beyond in search of the original siding, which is no longer made and very hard to find. He works very efficiently, is honest, completely trustworthy, and did a beautiful job. His prices are quite reasonable, especially when you take into consideration the quality of his work. Lance is also very neat! I am already making a new list of projects that we need completed. He really is the real deal.

Lance of LHS Construction was great to work with! I sought out multiple bids for two new exterior doors. Lance was the most informative and had the best price. He was prompt with all communications and patient with my many questions about the job and all the options. His work was top quality and he even came back on a separate day to add weather-​stripping free of charge. I plan on returning to him for all our future construction and home maintenance needs.
