Kelly’s Klub K-9

UPDATE to my original glowing review of June 2014: My injury healed but Kelly is so wonderful and has bonded with my Dempsey that I continue to use her services. She is so caring and treats every dog like her own pet. I was walking Dempsey off leash in September, at dusk, and he ran off (likely after a squirrel!) After an hour of walking in circles in the woods, calling his name, it was becoming dark and I was frantic. Out of desperation I called Kelly. She came to the trailhead with a heavy duty light and walked with me, whistling and calling for him. Thirty minutes later, he came out of the woods and I was so relieved! This shows how far above and beyond Kelly is. She is fabulous.
June 2014: I’m so thrilled that I met Kelly earlier this year. I adopted a very big, energetic 2 yr old Lab. We enjoyed our daily hikes until I fell and broke my ankle in May! Kelly has been a lifesaver. She takes our big guy out 3 – 4 times per week and he always comes home exhausted and happy! Recently I went (on crutches) to our local dog park… a lady spotted my dog and recognized him from visits with Kelly. She went on to tell me how active and playful he is when he’s there with Kelly and the other dogs. She said to me «Kelly isn’t like the other dog walkers that sit here and read. She’s out there running and playing with the dogs.» I was so happy to hear that unsolicited «review» from another dog owner. Even once I’m healed and hiking again, I’ll still call on Kelly for regular play dates for Dempsey.

Kelly has been taking my dog Scarlett daily for a few weeks now since I started working full time again. Scarlett is very happy and so are we. Best of all Scarlett is tired when I return home from work. Kelly is always the professional, picking up and dropping off as scheduled and stays in communication with us. So glad we found her! Makes my life easier.

Kelly is absolutely fantastic! She is extremely responsive, accommodating and personable. And most importantly my dog loves her!

Kelly, you and your skills are amazing! You are very intuitive with my dogs. My dogs love you and are so excited to see you. You are officially Aunt Kelly! If anyone in the area needs an amazing dog person, or house/​pet sitter this sweet lady does not disappoint. Kelly has «THAT» connections with your beloved pets. Kelly has made a world of difference in out lives. Even though Jackie is older, she still has a lot of energy and «LOVES» when her Auntie Kelly picks her up and takes her to the dog park or hiking. The end result is that she is happy, and is barking less at home. Butch has separation anxiety and we have added extra days days with Kelly and it has made a big, giant difference in Butch. I thought I was going to have to put him on medication but adding the extra days worked! Butch is much calmer and content. I honestly don’t know what I would do without her services, her insight, and the love she has for all of her clients furbabies. I am a first time dog owner and both my dogs are rescues. I turn to Kelly for advice and her thoughts on what is best for my dogs, and she is always happy to provide insight. If there were more than five stars, she would get them all!!!

Kelly takes our dog to places to play and socialize with safety. Recently we had to leave town for a few days so we had Kelly take care of our dog at the home she was at. We were nervous leaving her with someone but since Kelly was so responsible with her on walks we knew she would take good care of her. Thing is she had so much fun with Kelly and the dogs, I don’t think our dog wanted to come home!

My dog is better behaved with Kelly than with me. I leave her in Kelly’s care with confidence. I had to arrange boarding with Kelly at the last minute, and she made it so easy. She kept me posted via text and email so that I would know that my dog was adjusting well and playing with other dogs and having a good time. I highly recommend!

I was lucky enough to see Kelly walking ’ her’ dogs at the park before I hired her. She has a wonderful attitude around dogs. She is so aware of each dogs personality. She takes my dog every Monday and he loves it! He comes home happy and tired. He is a big one year old and she handles him so well. She has taken him to the beach, hiking and trail walking. Her assistant Doug is great with dogs as well. I watch a happy truck load of dogs and people pull away from my house and I know Slurpee is going on a well managed, safe, fun adventure. I would recommend Kelly to anyone.

View to an updated review! It’s been nearly a year since rating Kellys Klub K9 service. Yet much has happened to suggest that there is new cause for additional comments. Since switching jobs, Rocco has had to bare the brunt of the change. Both of our schedules changed so dramatically our options were being limited. We have come to rely on Kelly more as a surrogate mom. Kelly stepped up to the plate when limits to our abilities exceeded our ability to keep Rocco.
We both are so grateful for her personal service and Rocco is just plain happy!
Bottom line Happy dog happy clients!

Kelly has been an absolute blessing to our household. She not only bonded quickly with our year and half old Australian Sheppard, Claire, but my husband and I love working with her too! She is honest, kind, and most of all loves our dog. She takes our dog on amazing hikes and on adventures to dog parks too! When we were looking for a dog sitter she was more than willing to watch her and when I unexpectedly ended up in the hospital getting ready to go into labor she was quick to respond to our need for help. We appreciate Kelly and what she does for our dog very much and we know you will too. I recommend her and her Klub K-​9 with no reservations. Thanks for everything Kelly!!!

Kelly has been walking our young rescue dog, Luna, 3 times a week for several months. Kelly is kind, patient, and reliable. Luna adores Kelly and runs for her leash and the door as soon as she hear’s Kelly’s truck nearing our driveway. The outings with Kelly have greatly improved Luna’s car manners and social skills with people and other dogs (she was a bit shy).
Kelly will be caring for Luna for 2 weeks this summer while we are on vacation. I trust very few people with this type of responsibility. I feel secure knowing that Luna will be safe and happy in my absence under Kelly’s supervision.

I moved to Petaluma over the summer and quickly needed to find someone to walk my dog on the days I work. Kelly was super responsive and listened to my concerns about my pup… (He’s a rescue, shy and kind of stand-​offish to other dogs). Three months later and he is having a great time with Kelly! He is happy and relaxed when I get home. Kelly is trustworthy and great with communication. I highly recommend her… so does Sammy the Corgi :)

Kelly has been taking care of our pets for 6 years, both for daily walks and pet sitting. We couldn’t be happier nor could our happy dogs! When I leave for work I don’t feel bad for the dogs because I know they have a good romp and be well cared for. I feel especially secure knowing that Kelly is insured.

UPDATE: Our big dog had to go through 2 surgeries this past year and it was such an ordeal. When he was ready to start his «rehab» Kelly was fantastic. She helped with all the walks and exercises so that our Jet could eventually get back to 100% Thanks so much, Kelly — you are the BEST !!
ORIGINAL: I cannot say enough great things about Kelly and Klub K-​9. Kelly has been taking care of our dogs and cats for over 8 years. We also have travel that takes us out of the country for a few weeks each year, and Kelly watches our house for us, too. Kelly loves the pets she cares for and truly treats them as her own when they are under her watch. We trust Kelly and know that we can go away and not worry about anything. I highly recommend Kelly for your pet exercise, pet sitting and house sitting needs
