Our doctors help to monitor and treat many eye conditions such as Myopia, Hyperopia, Astigmatism, Presbyopia, Dry Eyes, mild to moderate Infections, and many Eye Diseases. History

Established in 1998.

Dr. Carl V. Nicholson completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California Riverside. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in the state of Oregon and completed an internship in vision therapy at the State University of New York. Dr. Nicholson served three years as a Captain in the U.S. Army where he was also a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program. During this time, Dr. Nicholson was stationed at the 97th General Hospital Regional Medical Center in Frankfurt, Germany, where he served as the Chief of Optometry Services for the Exceptional Family Member Clinic. In addition, he was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for his role in Desert Shield. To further his interest in visual studies, he has been involved in and conducted research experiments in visual memory with Cal-​Tech graduate students. Dr. Nicholson has been dedicated to providing his patients with the best quality care at his current practice since 1998.

Business Owner

Dr. Nicholson specializes in pediatric and geriatric vision care. He also has an extensive knowledge of fitting specialty contact lenses. Dr. Nicholson has been co-​managing the LASIK procedure for over 10 years and takes great pride in working with only the most experienced surgeons who use state-​of-​the-​are technology.

Dr. Nicholson is also an active member of the community – taking part in many charity auction fundraisers as well as attended the Citizens Police Academy in Pasadena. When Dr. Nicholson is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching children’s sports teams, golfing, playing tennis, and dancing.
