Salsas were great. Just wish the would label the heart level, less waste. Chips are excellent, had veggie burrito. Portions are large. So filling, but they need to drain excess liquid as it overflowed all over the place about 2⁄3 into it.

Tried something new today: fish tacos. Highly recommend. Generous portion of fish in a thin and crispy batter. This is definitely going to be my new«usual» at el chubasco!

We order quesadillas and fajitas from here and they were excellent! I love that this place has 15 sauces/dips to choose from — the guacamole is better than Chipotle’s and the chipotle sauce is also tasty. We didn’t wait for long either! This is a good, cheap eatery in Park City.

Really good food. A ton of sauces to choose from. However… the ‘California Burrito’ is missing a critical ingredient… French fries. Get that right and this place is perfect

Our best go to for fresh Mex in Park City. Shhh, it’s a local thing that we found on Unilocal.Been going here for years whenever we are in town. Best chips and salsa bar. Fajitas shrimp or beef, yum! We buy the sauce by the jar to take home too.

Fish tacos, cold beer, and a salsa bar — what else is there to say! Great food, would definitely go back(we have gone back each year for the past 4 years)…

So this place is super yummy. The prices are also great especially compared to other places in Park city. It definitely is a locals spot. The have beer and a salsa bar. So when you are ready to get off Main Street and enjoy delicious Mexican food and some good beer add this place to your list.

Who would’ve thought that Utah provides top notch Mexican food compared to the stuff I’ve had here in LA? These guys know their sauces… there was about a dozen types of salsas or sauces to choose from to spice up your entrée. I highly recommend the pork rib dish(boneless, stewed). It was fantastic(it’s actually a favorite of the cashier, but she said it’s not popular for some reason). I also tried the california burrito with mole sauce. It was huge and I had to cut out some of the tortilla or else I would’ve exploded.

Great tacos at good prices for Park City. Salsa bar is huge — definitely try everything! Good spot to check out when you’re not feeling like spending Main Street dollars, or you just need a quick bite.

Good Mexican is hard to find in Utah in general, so we had some high hopes for this place. While their salsa bar is great, their dishes didn’t have the flavor we hoped. The fish tacos and the carne asada we got were lacking in the flavor department, so that was disappointing. The best and most redeeming aspect of this place was definitely their horchata. Do yourself a favor and stop by to get that at least!

Combo plate, with three items is the way to go! I always ask which sauces they recommend on the tamale and enchilada. When you order you get free chips, yum! The salsa bar is out of this world, and all super fresh. Service is friendly, and fast. It is tucked away in a stripmall — parking is never hard to find.

So I’ve revisited El Chubasco 4 times and I thought it was time to update my review. Unfortunately, everything I said still goes — dirty and crowded with overpriced food, measly portions and flavorless meals. I hate to say it but I’m done with this place. Oh well.

I’ve been hearing about this place for a while and on a day off of work, made the trek up to Park City to meet some friends for lunch. It’s order and sit down style(not sit down and order, in case you thought it was, like me…). They have a salsa bar with a wide variety of salsas. You get one small food boat of chips for free. I got the carne asada tacos and they were very flavorful. My friends all got burritos and they enjoyed them. If you’re in Park City, I’d say this place is worth checking out. If you’re not, it might be worth it to make the trip, but I probably wouldn’t go back to just eat here.

The salsa bar is fantastic! The food is also super delicious. I’ve eaten here and gotten take-out many times and it’s always been great. Recently, I ordered a giant batch of food for delivery from a local service and, even after the travel and lag-time, everything was amazing! They have an inventive menu with items you don’t see at every Mexi-joint… especially fast-foody types. The prices are great and the food and service are absolutely top shelf. Mucho Gusto, El Chubasco!

Greatest salsa bar around. Pick your poison style, everything from Pico to mega-burn. I would call this more authentic style Mexican food and I usually get the California style burrito. Place is generally busy and truly a local favorite.

For a fast casual Mexican food place this restaurant was pretty good. Service was 5 stars. Very helpful staff and attentive. We didn’t even have to ask for water cups, she counted our group and gave them to us. We had the nachos. Pretty basic but good. Chips, Nacho cheese, refried beans, pico, guacamole and sour cream. Only the first layer had toppings on it the underneath was just chips. The fish tacos were really good. Got the side of rice and beans with it. The rice was okay. The California burrito was what you would expect with this style. I just didn’t love it. Black beans and pico. The carnita meat was pretty good. The horchata was awesome and you can refill it. Pretty awesome selection at the salsa bar
