Trusted Movers – Palo Alto

Trusted Movers used to be Trusted Vanlines, and I’ve use them 4 times in the past 8 years for me and relatives. I believe they are a small business (compared to the national chains), and I love the personal touch because I always talked to the same persons who took my reservation, not just an operator. They get my 5-​star because:
1. Helpful Reservation and Honest Quote.
Scott or Royi took my reservations over the phone, and gave me good estimates by asking detailed questions about the move. They followed up with an email and another call 1 day before the move.
2. Wonderful Mover Teams (arriving ON TIME!)
For my 2-​BR moves, they always sent a 3-​man team. Strong and fast guys. The lead of the 3-​man team did most of the paperwork before starting, and asked me details about how/​what I wanted to move. The best part is, they are always on-​time. When the emailed quote said 1~3pm arrival time, I never need to worry. They always call 30 minutes before arrival. One time there was a delay, and the lead guy called and apologized profusely.
3. Well Trained, Courteous, yet Fast and Furious.
The movers are all very professionally trained. Every guy I ever met was smiling, happy, and courteous. They seem very well trained, and I could see the mutual teamwork in them.

— wrapped all furniture well and fast.
— very careful about avoiding scratch/​dent on furniture and house
— dissembled/​reassembled all furniture that could be taken apart. They have all tools needed to take my sh*tty IKEA furniture apart without damaging it (it took me 1 hr to put together a baby crib. Took them 15 min. All my IKEA furniture survived the moves!)
— while unloading, they always asked what goes where, saving me a whole lot of re-​arranging time.
4. Honest final bill
After all is done, the lead gave me a few sheets to sign.

*** They wrote down starting time, drive time, unloading time, and calculates the bill based on the actual, not the quote. It was fair and square because I watched these guys. They were nearly running in and out all the time. Very little break time was taken. Compared to one of other cut-​rate movers I got, they are 20% faster.
5. Professionally packed storage room
If you are moving to a storage room, ask for a good packer. When I sold the house and move all to a 10×10 storage, boxes was overflowing. One of the movers re-​arranged all boxes stacked to the ceiling. It was so densely packed I couldn’t add another laptop bag to the 10×10 storage unit. It turned out the guy usually packs shipping containers.
I don’t need to say more. These guys are the only movers I trust. Ah, *Trusted* Movers. Now it all comes together.
