The one star is only because Story closed suddenly about three weeks ago — mid April. I liked the selection, service and prices, so this review is not a reflection on the quality. However, they left without any notice and no sign that they would be closing. Luckily, I liked my purchases but it would have sucked trying to exchange or get a store credit. There is no sign in the window that they have relocated or are remodeling and this always makes me suspicious about a business.

Kevyne was feeling like crap so she decided to do some retail therapy. This store she’s been wanting to go in and look around for a long time now so finally she decided to check it out. She feels like she needs a new dress hoping it will make her feel better. Unfortunately, this store doesn’t really have a wide selections of dresses. The stuff that they have are so limited. Well, she’s guessing because it’s just a small boutique located in DTPA. The store is a little pricey. A single cardigan blouse will cost $ 54 a pop. Again, it’s Palo Alto. Everything here cost more than a regular store anyway.
The lady working that day didn’t even bother to smile or even nod. She’s prolly busy or just having a bad day.
Anyway, Kevyne will prolly come back here again. They might have some good stuff next time but right now she is better off shopping in Express or H&M or even Forever 21! Yah Dig?

I agree with the two other reviews of this boutique! This is definitely such a great place. From the moment I walked in, looked around, tried things on, made my purchases, and left I felt at ease. It was a welcoming place. I love the selection of clothes they have. Their staff is super friendly. This is definitely a great place to go.

Worse boutique I’ve ever been to!!! I work on University ave. and pass by this place all the time so I decided to stop in. As soon as I walked into the store the cashier came rushing over to me as though she had the «hurry up and buy» look on her face from «boys in the hood». She proceeds to stand next to me for a few minutes and then says «can I take your bags»? WTH not «may I help you», or «is there anything in particular that your looking for», instead I felt the extreme racisim from this Asian lady as though I was going to start dumping their cloths into my bag to steal. No way will I ever go to this store again!!!

Definitely one of the best boutiques in Palo Alto. The staff is so friendly, the selection is amazing and unique, and the location is fantastic being on University Ave.
