Dr. Fred Schroeder, Dr. Carole Schroeder, and Dr. Kris Pippin seek to provide the best possible care by offering convenient hours with in-​house bloodwork, radiographs, ultrasound, full anesthetic monitoring for all surgical and dental procedures, boarding, and professional grooming. College Boulevard Animal Hospital has successfully achieved accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and has been evaluated on more than 900 standards to ensure that our patients and clients receive the highest level of care. Only 15 percent of veterinary practices throughout the country have made this voluntary commitment to excellence.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Kris Pippin, D V M.

Business Owner

Born and raised for most of his life in Kansas City, except for a year living in New Zealand, Dr. Pippin has always known that he wanted to be a veterinarian. From breeding hamsters, rabbits, and sand boas to owning nearly every type of rodent, reptile, fish, or bird that he could get his hands on, he has enjoyed animals since the time he could walk.

Dr. Pippin earned his bachelor’s degree and his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University. After graduation he worked at a high volume clinic in Kansas City, before finding his way to College Boulevard Animal Hospital.

Away from work, Dr. Pippin leads a very active lifestyle. He has previously competitively roadraced motorcycles at racetracks across the United States, is an avid mountain bicyclist, basketball player, and hiker. He has two large dogs, a great dane and a pit bull, and loves to be outside with them. On days when the weather doesn’t cooperate, he can be found curled up reading a science fiction book.
