Scotty’s Heating & Air

Scott upgraded our home with central heating. He removed the old wall heater and installed the new furnace in the attic and ducting through-​out. The work was done in the summer of 2013 and we have had no complaints these last three winters. The unit is sized perfectly to heat our 1600 square foot home and the registers well strategically placed. Scott even ensured the unit was placed in a sturdy area above the restrooms (to minimize noise to bedrooms and help support the unit) and installed a cat walk from the attic opening to the furnace. Overall excellent job and at a great price!

This guy is amazing and this would be 12 stars if Unilocal had that many. He was there for 5 minutes and had the problem figured out. When I had my roof replaced, the roofers did not replace the vent cap properly and the air could not flow. Amazing. Very personable and very reasonably priced. Thank you so much Scotty, you are the best. My wife and I are warm again.

I am very impressed with the service I received from Scotty’s A/​C. I called for a non-​emergency, Scotty came out within that same week. I showed him what I had replaced & attempted to correct on my unit, he gave me great advice on how to do what I did and complimented it too (made me feel like I did something right haha). He quickly identified my system had a leak and repaired it right then, and recharged my system. Very great service from a very professional individual, and when you call you get great customer service from Michelle. You can not go wrong with this company. I will always recommend and use Scotty’s AC for any of my air conditioning needs. Thank you guys!

Scotty and his crew, did a fantastic job of installing our central AC, we got it just in time for a few hot humid days, and oh my it worked great, we have the Payne 2 ton for our 1100 square foot condo and it cools off our place real well.
We had 7 estimates and went with Scottys, we felt we could trust them and working directly with the owner is way better in our opinion then working with a salesperson.
We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great company with good prices.
One more thing Michele, Scottys wife the one who runs the office was efficient, and very prompt at returning my calls and e-​mails.

Scotty is really professional and an honest guy. Came out in May 2014 to add freon and clean up our system. Came out yesterday and saw it was leaking — he put sealant in, added freon and put in a new filter — at NO CHARGE. Gave us an estimate for a new system, which we will need soon. So glad we found him and will recommend him to everyone I know.

Installed central air conditioner, replace 29 year old furnace and all the old ducts. On-​time, reliable, decent price, courteous employees, honest and done in two days (with stairs in a tri-​level). I left my house key with Scotty. Even left my diamond ring out as I got called into work unexpectedly. Honest through and through. I have worked with Scotty for years and he is like family. Doesn’t get much better.

I write very few reviews, but because Scotty’s is such an outstanding company, we had to help spread the word!
My furnace and AC were 23 years old, and after the heat of last summer, felt it was time to upgrade! Had never used Unilocal before my search for a good heating and AC company. Reading Unilocal reviews helped me discard the big companies and narrow my search to 3 smaller, better, companies.
The morning of Super Bowl Sunday was when I sent request’s to my 3 picks for estimates. I never expected to hear from anyone until Monday, but 2 hours later Scotty called, and made an appointment for the next day.
He was on time, and I told him what furnace and AC I thought I needed. He gave me a price for this equipment, and then did the unexpected! He said «We live in Southern California and you don’t need expensive, top-​of-​the-​line equipment»! So I said «OK, give me a price for the equipment you think we need»! The new price was several thousand dollars less! We signed on the dotted line, and before we heard from the other two companies, our new furnace and AC were up and running.
It’s not often you find a company that recommends and sells what is needed, and are not pushing their more expensive products! Scotty’s Heating and Air is that rare company! We highly recommend Scotty’s for their honesty, service, and value. Scotty and crew showed up on time, and in one and half days had the old equipment out, new ducting installed, and the new furnace and AC up and running! You can’t ask for more than that.

Scotty showed up on time and quickly got to work replacing our 20+ year old furnace. Very seamless install and professional attitude during the entire process. Our new furnace is now installed and ready to beat the harsh SD winter! Would highly recommend for quality service and great price.

Called them on a Holiday when most people are off and not only did they respond, but they had me on the schedule the next morning! Great, fast service!

Scotty came out same day and got us out of a bind. We were in a 15 day escrow and needed a rigid line put on our heater and had to have it done that day. He and his worker were very professional and Johnny on the spot. It was in the middle of the heat wave, and they were booked solid for air conditioning units, yet he fit us in first thing that morning — thank you Scotty!!!

I called them and Michelle answered right away. She was able to get Scotty out to my house on the same day. Michelle was really friendly and courteous in taking my call. She even called me to let me know that they were running a bit late and that was great service.
Scotty came out and diagnosed the problem that caused the AC blower to go out and gave me a quote on the spot. The price was right and he did it right away. Very friendly as well and did the job with a great attitude. He left things much better then he found them. He even saw that there was some loose fittings and tightened those up.
I would recommend to use Scotty because they are also a local small business. The more we support small businesses, the more our tax dollars stay in our local community. Great work Scotty and Michelle and I highly recommend SCOTTY’S HEATING & AIR.

Yuri was on time. He solved the issue in minutes. He replaced the capacitor and the AC was working right away. He told me that the AC Unit is good for at least 5 more years.
Honest, competent, quick, nice, and no extra charge for Sunday.

By far the best heating and air condition company I’ve ever dealt with. We were replacing a heater and adding an air condition unit. His price was the best, which always concerns me. As it turns out, the only thing better than the price was the service. He was on time, got along with everyone in the family, including the dog, was quick, explained everything that needed to be done, including providing options on placement of the air condition unit outside. You can’t go wrong with Scotty.

He is honest and qualified. We have used his service 5 times and will do again. Once he checked an AC in a rental that was not working. without anyone to supervise him, he called and said it is a simple problem and takes only $ 30 – 40 to fix.
Once another AC guy wanted $ 600 to replace 2 – 15 cent fuses.
Keep these honest guys working, give then lots of work.

Just a little side note. The furnace is perfect and i just read more reviews for Scotty. One of them mentions guitar tips from Scott. So funny, he is an awesome guitarist and played mine while we waited to ensure everything with the furnace was well.
He lost me a bit because he is so good with a guitar but it’s something I will never likely see again or forget.
