History

Established in 2012.

I have always loved art in all forms. Since childhood, I have enjoyed drawing, painting, crafting, interior decorating, dance… the list goes on and on. I appreciate any and all forms of self expression. I fell in love with photography shortly after graduating college, so I went right back in and studied my new passion. I became certified, got my degree and decided the best step for me was to work for myself and start my own business. I have since worked with some amazing people and made some wonderful friends. My business grows everyday and have had some really exciting opportunities come my way. I have been able to pursue my dream AND fulfill my travel bug at once. I’ve shot a wedding in Fiji and just got back from Australia from another destination wedding. I’m optimistic and excited to see what the future holds for MKL Images!

Welcome, and thanks for stopping by! My name is Mary and I was born and raised in sunny SoCal. I first got started in photography a few years ago when my loving hubby bought me my first DSLR for my birthday. I have always been a lover of all things ART and am very easy going and flexible-​that being said, I take my job very seriously and push myself to always produce high quality, beautiful images for my clients and provide standout customer service. I LOVE what I do and it shows in my work. Every wedding and couple are unique, and I feel so truly honored to be a part of that uniquely special day! I had researched and searched some more for a potential wedding photographer. I found MKL images and really loved the pictures and the uniqueness of them. Each wedding is different and deserves to be photographed that way. I used MKL to do my engagement photos and I loved them. I loved working with Mary, she is very easy going and kind. Would recommend Mary to everyone! She’s so great at what she does. We did a family photoshoot to include 3 kids under the age of 5, she made us feel comfortable and got all the shots we wanted. Loved working with her. She even got the kids to cooperate (hard to do). She makes the whole experience a good one!
