We are pleased to serve San Diego County with affordable construction services. Holding both a B General Contractors and a C10 Electrical license, we offer wide range of construction and electrical services. We do kitchens, bathrooms, and general remodeling but we also offer a wide range of smaller handyman jobs such as appliance installation, ceiling fans, lighting, motorized shades, hot tub spas, jacuzzi, and much much more! In fact, if it is residential work we probably do it. Give us a call, we are happy to answer your questions.

History

Established in 1998.

Mario Brothers Construction & Electric was founded in 2006 as Mario Brothers Handyman Service doing small jobs for customers in the neighborhood. When the company was founded the owner, Tim was employed at Window Broker and Window Factory doing windows and doors. In 2009 Mario Brothers was granted a California State License for general contracting and a C10 license for electrical work. Mario Brothers has four full time employees who specialize in various trades. We employ three journeyman electricians and one apprentice. Even though our skillset in very extensive we still offer a variety of handyman services to our customers. We are glad to perform jobs both large and small and are eager to create relationships with customers no matter how small the job may be. Thanks for taking the time to read about our company. Tim was nice, he couldn’t quite meet my budget but overall my experience with him was fair. Doesn’t do insurance work do to insurance low valuation. If your going through insurance he may not be your best choice in contractor but if you have some extra $ put away it sounds like he does high quality work.

These guys are awesome! I needed the track lights in my yogurt shop to be fixed. Tim came and gave me a diagnosis of what the problem could be and some options. Tim answered any and all questions that I had and was very accommodating. They are reasonably priced as well! I highly recommend these guys.

Mario Brothers and specifically Tim has done various custom jobs at my residence. This ranges from electrical work, custom windows and carpentry work.
His work is of the highest standard, he has taken pride in every piece of detail choosing to redo something to get it right rather than let it go.
Specifically Tim build a custom deck for my new hot tub. This included hooking up the 220V connection to the hot tub, building a custom fence out of Trex, custom glass fence and building the wooden deck around the hot tub.
Tim created a CAD design before we started, we reviewed the design, created a bill of materials and planned the design before starting.
Tim keeps communication open and clearly articulates his plans and how issues need to be resolved.
Highly recommended to provide a great product for your residence.

In 2011 we hired Tim Chilcoat (Mario Brothers Construction & Electric) to work on replacing a worn-​out hot tub on our second floor deck. He ran all the electrical wires and a ground fault breaker as well as all of the wooden construction needed. Tim is an excellent person and fine worker; he always told us what was needed, what he suggested doing, and when it would be done. He always put in a full day’s work, and was easy to talk with. Tim is a real pro, and we would be happy to have him help us out anytime!

My family and I had a cabinetry emergency. Our cabinets were falling off the wall. We called Mario Brothers and they came promptly. Tim came over and made sure the sinking cabinets were propped up for safety while he completed repairs. He explained the nature of the problem with the cabinets and how he could fix them to last. Our cabinets are now in pristine condition and we are very happy with his work. The price was reasonable too. Tim has confidence in his work and it shows. He was very kind to the whole family. We highly recommend his services.
