Mike Hemmati is a second-​generation locksmith. His locksmith career began, right out of high school. Mike moved to Oceanside and opened Foothill Lock & Security. They take great honor in customer satisfaction, being recognized as a preferred AAA contractor. Foothill Lock and Security has been honored to receive the AAA service award being recognized every year consecutively since 2006. In 2010, AAA asked Foothill Lock and Security to expand their service area to include Temecula and South Riverside County. In 2012, AAA asked Foothill Lock and Security to expand their service area again to cover the entire San Diego County. I couldn’t believe how PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS Mike was with handling my
car is in Spring Valley and not only did he give me a great price, he didn’t charge me too much extra to send a guy out to program my Jeep and make a new key. First on all they didn’t even have to deal with me, since it was so far, but being the STAND OUT/​PROBLEM SOLVER MIKE is he made it work by sending one of his guys after work who lives near me. what a blessing these guys are I swear. I can’t THANK YOU guys enough. i got to tip the driver and I’m most defiantly sending them a present for being OUTSTANDING/​AMAZING/​PROFESSIONAL/​GENUINE/​and most of all CARING PEOPLE. Great service and pricing. Almost half the price to replace the ignition switch on my Dodge Caravan (from a well known competitor) and also able to make a laser cut key for my Saab 9 – 5 right in the van. Mike is a grand fellow, worth a call.

They are the best. I lost my car keys at the beach and found these guys online, mike showed up within 20 mins, unlocked my car and made a new key in less than 15 mins. I couldn’t believe it. Juan is the best! I locked my keys in my car, and needed to get back to work in a hurry. I called «the other guys» and waited 30 minutes, no call, so I called them back, and nothing. So I hopped on Unilocal and saw the great reviews for Foothill and thought I’d give them a call. Juan answered and was there exactly when he said he’d be there. He was quick, professional, and very nice, and the price was more than fair. I hope I don’t lock my keys in my car again, but if I do, it’s a no-​brainer that I’ll be calling FL&S again. :) :)

The ignition on my Ford Focus became stuck and did not allow me to turn the car on (apparently that’s a common problem with early models of the Focus). I called AAA and was given a time frame of 45 – 60 mins for them to be able to send a locksmith to my location. Being that it was late at night I passed on AAA’s provider, instead I got on Unilocal and based on the reviews I decided to call Mike at Foothill Lock & Security. Mike was not only able to quote me about 45 dollars less than AAA’s original provider but he was also able to get here in 20 mins rather than the 45 – 60 mins from AAA’s original provider and because he is AAA approved, I was able to still qualify for AAA’s discount which knocked off an additional 60 dollars from the price Mike gave me. Mike was professional, completed the job in a timely manner, and most importantly did it right the first time. I would definitely recommend contacting Foothill Lock & Security for your locksmith needs.

When my only key to my ’72 Chey Pickup was lost, I called AAA. They called FL&S to come out. AAA called me back saying they had the locksmith on the phone and they wanted to know if my doors were locked and if it is the same key for the doors as well as ignition. I answered yes. When Moe of FL&S arrived, he told me he was going to change out my ignition, which I did not want nor was told. He said he had told AAA that was necessary. I asked about the door key and he said he’d make one, but it would be different than the ignition, where I told him, if he makes a key for the door, it will work in the ignition… he was insistant on changing the ignition. Then he asked me if the doors were locked, I said yes and that I had already told AAA that too, when they had ‘the locksmith” on the line. He could not get the doors open with his tools, so he broke out five rings of keys, between the both of us, we tried almost all of them when one finally opened the door, somewhere over 200 keys later. I then told him to try that one in the ignition. It worked. Moe then made me two keys and gave me $ 10 off for «helping him», as I had gone through two rings of keys on the passenger side door while he attempted on the drivers door. Moe was very courteous, but seemed a bit novice, as he was unable to ‘slim-​jim’ either door open. I do not know if I’d call on FL&S, but if AAA sends them out to me on another automotive key issue, I will not turn them away.

When I bought my used truck they only had one key and stupid me never got around to making a spare. So when i misplaced my keys I had to give AAA a call to come out to my home in Murrieta and make me another one. So they sent out Foothill Lock & Security, Moe the tech was awesome great customer service, showed me around his totally state of art van that can make any kind of key on the spot from laser to chipped I was impressed. only took him about a half hour to complete the job and make me a spare. Very fare prices

We lost the only key to our vehicle the other day. We called AAA since we’re members and thought they would send a tow truck to haul the car to the dealership. Instead they sent Mike from Foothill Lock & Security. Mike arrived before the estimated time given to us by AAA and was able to make and program 2 keys right there on the spot. Mike was extremely courteous and professional at all times. I would highly recommend this company to anyone (even if you’re not a AAA member).

Very helpful and quick to get to me! So it’s been on my list now for quite some time to get a spare key made and either give it to a friend or hide it under my car. Well I guess I waited a little too long because I locked keys in the truck! Luckily I had my phone in hand and not in the car. So after a quick search i found Mikes website and gave him a call.
He was able to get out to me in about 20 minutes and was able to help me get a solution for the next time I decided to put the keys in the trunk. Would definitly recommend Foothill Lock!
