Pump It Up

Just had a party there on Friday 5÷20÷16! The planner on the phone directed me to online coupons for discount. That was awesome! Philip and Lauren were our party hosts and they were seriously the best! We have had parties there in the past but these two were a great combo! They were always checking in and they were playing with or helping the kids! I never saw them standing around chatting with each other and I never had to aimlessly search for them… best duo EVER!
Only bummer is that if parents/​kids don’t show and if you don’t have as many kids… they still charge you the amount you thought was coming. But I knew that getting into it.

Went here today for a birthday party at 2pm. All the kids had a great time, as they usually do in places like this. What’s worth mentioning though, was the young girl who was working here did a great job. There was a kid by the door and his mom went out to get something in their car. I guess she didn’t see the mom who just went out, but seeing the kid hanging out by the door himself was a red flag to her. Immediately she went to the boy and asked if he was part of the party inside, or where he was supposed to be. She made sure he didn’t go anywhere til his mom returned. So glad to see the younger generation more responsible and caring. She was also the same girl who helped find my kids’ sock.

I was impressed with the customer service from start to end! I didn’t have to set up or hassle with anything. They set up the party room for us and even helped carry our gifts to the car. The passed out the food, cake and goody bags. They were excellent and gave us an exceptional birthday experience for our sons second birthday!

Great place for kids and birthdays. However, rules outlined for the kids /​guests are not followed-​up or reinforced. Two of the jump houses could be potentially dangerous. One has no adult supervision where kids climb a 70 degree or more incline for 8 – 10 feet in the back side (not seen through entrance). If they fell or fell on another child, no one would know until much later. This is a concern. For the tall slides, kids someone slide without waiting for other kids to clear, and could be potential for an accident. 2 staff present for that exhibit didn’t even seem to care. Overall the facility is clean. Staff provides hand sanitizer for guests before they go into a room for cake/​birthday celebration.

About two weeks or so I attended a friends party. This was going to be my first visit so I was excited to take my son who is 4 and daughter who is 6. When we first arrived the girl at the desk was very friendly and greeted us. When we were allowed in to jump a worker named Daniel I think his name was, greeted us and welcomed my kids so he told us about the different activities that goes at pump it up. My kids said they felt very welcomed by the greeting we received by him. Philip had also helped out a lot and answered any questions that I had, it helped out. When it was time to go into the other room another worker greeted us with a big smile and she helped out a lot with the event as well. She as well said hi to me and my family. As we were leaving I tried to catch a glimpse of her name which was Sierra! I tried to talk to a worker at the front desk to tell them about Daniel and Sierra that they did a great job on impressing my first visit. One of them said Sarah is the manager or something? I wanted to let her know about them 3 but I had to go. I’m going to have to plan my kids next birthday party there. I hope Daniel, Philip and Sierra are there to help out! Adults are free and kids $ 5 to $ 9 is a deal. Other then being worn out going with my 3 year old through the opsticle course slide it was great. The smaller room had a better slide but both are open and fun. Some music would be good and some pizzas but kids love it and it’s well worth it. School days and right when they open is the best times for toddlers.

I had brought my son to the Open Jump, I also had my 15 yr old daughter with me for company. As I checked in they made me pay for her as well. She clearly was wearing flip-​flops and was not intending to jump. Who knew they had a rule of anyone under 18 had to pay (even if NOT jumping)???
I was shocked and have not been back since, with the exception of a birthday party for my nephew. Again they had me sign her in under the children’s form, I’m sure to charge my niece, but again, no jumping for her.
Why do they feel like they need to charge if not jumping? I’m sure they can afford to buy colored braclets or something…
As for the high school staffers, they are too busy chit-​chatting to actually watch the safety of the kids… and their snippy attitudes don’t help with an unhappy customer.

My kids go here a lot for birthday parties. They have fun being with friends but say that it is gets a little boring after a while if they aren’t with friends. Overpriced for bouncing on some jump houses. Nice staff. It gets really loud so it is hard to talk to friends and they could use more seating for parents especially in the second room.

Love this place, good time with the kids. Staff is friendly, price is right, jumpy equipment is in reasonable condition. They recently changed it around and added a few things to improve the experience. Always a good get-​out-​of-​the-​house activity for kids of all ages.

Just had Monster’s 5^th Birthday here! He had a blast with all his friends. ALL the staff members were friendly and attentive and made the party run so smoothly! Monster LOVES this location because of the 2 rooms, baseball, and basketball inflatables! We Will definitely be back even though we come from Hercules! Thanks Pump It Up Oakley Staff. Have brought my grand children here so many times
and they have always had such a great time. This last couple of times there have been adult size teenagers in there pushing in line and generally intimidating all the little ones. There should be a size/​age limit for bounce houses ¾ teenagers in there at one time is too much!

My two girls and I went here for the first time today (Wednesday) during their 10−1pm free jump. My rating is simply based on the fact that my girls had a great time and we were treated very kindly by the staff. The place met my most important need and that is to provide my kids a fun and safe place to run, jump, and spend a ton of energy.
As a parent I thought it would be bigger, but they do have two rooms with enough activities to entertain the kids.
We will be coming back.

We went to a friend’s party here and I was really impressed with how organized the parties are. They have more than enough staff so the adults can mingle and socialize while the kids enjoy the party. We started in a small room with a giant slide that my kids loved and then after a while we went into the second much bigger room with tunnels, a bounce house basketball court and baseball machine that my kids really enjoyed. For the last part of the party we went into the designated party room for pizza and cake. I liked how the party was completely private just for our group.

Pretty good place to let the kids run wild. The first time my daughter didn’t really like it, but that’s no offense to this place, she just doesn’t like the loud noises of jumpers. The second time was MUCH better. But, we also had a different experience. The first time, we stayed in the smaller area, and after going down the slide 25 times, she got bored and wanted to go home. So, $ 8 for 45 minutes, OK.
The second time, a preschool came as a field trip, and eventually we were moved to the larger jumpy area. I had no idea there was more! OK, I like this place now. Being pretty pregnant, I was pretty lucky to have so many preschool parents playing with the kids that day. My kid was in the basketball/​soccer enclosure with this poor dad and 9 kids forever. What a trooper that dad was!
So, I’m glad we tried again. It would be nice if both areas were open at the same time I think. I’m new to this place, and so I wasn’t sure why one would be closed while the other was open.
Staff was friendly, not much to say about it. The first time I was there, one of the girls helped my daughter get over her fear of the big slide, so that was really nice of her and I really appreciated that.

Nice new staff. We had a great time for my sons birthday. Glow lights make the experience a lot better. Only reason I will give 4 stars is because management refused to accept an online coupon without it being printed.

I have been taking my children to Pump it Up for a few years now for the Tuesday night family jump time. We are very pleased that family jump night has been increased to 2 hrs (instead of 1.5 hours) and more open jump times have been added through the month. Another bonus is that there is increased staff on the jump floor, specifically an attendant at the big slide! I feel my children are safer having the extra attendants on the floor. The jump floor as well as the bathrooms are always clean and tidy! As a parent of 3 children, I feel Pump It Up gives you the most bang for your buck when it comes to children’s entertainment in the East Bay!

My son loves this place, actually so do I!
The staff is very friendly. The absolute best thing they have done is change their hours to accommodate an open jump session Monday through Friday from 1030−100pm. Thanks pump it up! See you on Fridays!

Visited on Veterans day since there was no school. I think everyone had the same idea. We stayed an hour and after non stop running and jumping my son was ready to go and I was thankful because it started to smell of sweaty boys in there. It’s a great place to let the young ones run off some energy! They had open jump from 10am-​1pm and for $ 8 you really can’t go wrong.

Super joke with their business hours. Free time from 10 – 11? What kind of shit is that? And then you don’t open on Tuesdays until 6:30 pm? Kids play in the day, geniuses! Let’s get real here! Union City is by far the best Pump It Up

They have specific play times and are about 1 ½hrs. But well worth $ 7. My kid loves it and it tires him out.
