If you’re looking to have a photo booth at your wedding, look no further. No seriously. Stop looking. Kate and John are totally rad and our guests had a BLAST. I mean. Could you have a cuter wedding accessory/​feature than a VW bus that’s a photo booth? No. The photo quality is awesome. They put our wedding logo at the bottom of the photo strips. They gave us a USB file (shaped as a key, no less) with all the files. They even gave us a guest book all our friends pasted the extra photo strips in with notes! Do yourself a favor and just book Das Bus, already!

I hired Das Bus for our wedding reception and it was THE BEST. We originally decided to hire Das Bus because the groom’s family has an almost irrational love for VW buses. But even if they didn’t, we wouldn’t have regretted hiring them at all. The bus is beautiful inside and out, and will add to your décor. Signage on the outside of the bus also lights up and, if you have started pricing rentals for outdoor lighting, you will truly appreciate that as an added bonus! I loved having Das Bus at our wedding, and judging by the amount of pictures our guests took, our guests loved it too. The Das Bus team were not only professional but super friendly.
On top of how awesome having Das Bus was at our wedding, their take home extras were so fun to look through once we got home. They had put copies of all the photostrips in a beautiful wood covered scrapbook that our guests signed. We also got copies of all the photos on a USB drive shaped like a key. Too cute! The DAS BUS team truly has their act together! Highly recommended!

Das Bus appeared at a work event we had recently and was an awesome experience. We liked our photos so much that afterwards we messaged the owners through Facebook hoping to get digital copies so we could enlarge them. Stumbled across das-​bus at Treasure Island Music Festival! Such good fun and Kate was super cool — she even joined us in our photos! We ended up coming back and doing it a second time, we just couldn’t resist! 6 out of 5 stars!

We absolutely love Das Bus! We attended a corporate event last week and Kate and John were awesome! All my colleagues had a blast and some of my friends even had their photos taken 2 or 3 times. It was super fun and I recommend it to every event organizer.

I hired Kate and John (Das Bus) for my wedding in Northern, CA. It was about a 3 hour drive from Oakland. They were absolutely awesome!!! They arrived early and were super great to all our guests. Everyone had a blast! These two love what they do and you can tell they’re passionate.
As a gift we received a hand-​crafted wood photo album with copies of all the photo strips. The guests got to add their photos and sign the book. We also got a cool little key thumb drive with copies of all the photos. What a great way to remember the night.
Kate and John stayed well into the evening, even though they had to be back in the Bay Area for a 10 a.m. gig. They didn’t try to rush us or make it an issue. True customer service.
If you’re looking for a unique photo booth this is it. It’s worth every penny. Like I said, you can tell that they love what they do and that makes the experience that much better. They were one of the top compliments we received about our wedding.
I would use again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone. I’m pretty sure they’ll score a few gigs from guests at our wedding.

I love photo booths and you can tell when the photo booths are just a job and when the people genuinely enjoy what they are doing. I have to say Das Bus is original and unique and was a blast to use! I was lucky enough to be able to use their bus at the Treasure Island Flea, it was a lot of fun. I only wish I would of done this at a special event where I could have kept going back and taking more pictures.

My sister-​in-​law hired Das Bus for our wedding reception last month and it was truly amazing. The bus is beautiful — they have done a truly great job of outfitting it inside while leaving its great VW character. Inside, it is surprisingly large — big enough to fit 7 pretty sizable adults for some of the photos. My wife and I loved it and our guests loved it — what more could we ask? Well, as it turns out, they left us with a wonderful photo guest book, as well, with all of the photo strips from the day, along with some fun notes from out guests. Highly recommended!

I love Das Bus! This was HUGE hit at our wedding this past weekend. Sitting in the back of a VW van made the photobooth experience unique and memorable. The props they brought were perfect! I met the Kate, Tom and Bonnie — Das Bus Herself — at a street fair in Jack London and was taken by the beautiful craftsmanship, the great idea, and the nice owners of the business. So I had them come to my wedding in April 2014 as a surprise and it was a huge hit! Kate and Tom were wonderfully friendly, kept everyone happy, the props they had were hilarious, and the whole experience was so much fun that we had a line for photos for hours. Crucially, they keep things moving at a fast pace — the printouts were near instantaneous, they printed double strips and had a table for guests to put one of the strips into a beautiful little guest book they made for us. We love breaking out the book and laughing at it. Pricing was very reasonable for the great attention, lovely book, and the very classy and fun addition to our event. Thanks Kate and Tom!

Love Das Bus! I discovered Das Bus recently at the last Jack of All Trades Market. After I found out that the adorable Volkswagon van was actually a photo booth, I had to have a picture taken! Such a great idea! My fiancé refused to participate (although, he says he will take a picture with me next time!), but my dog, Teddy, was a willing participant. The bus is very clean and stylish. There are props to use for your pictures, but since Teddy was a handful, we posed sans props. When you finish taking your picture, you get two photo strips. Das Bus also posts all of their photos from events like these on their facebook page, so Teddy and I were also able to find our photos online. The owners are very nice and friendly. Next time we see Das Bus, we will definitely be taking more pics! If I can convince my fiancé, maybe we can get Das Bus to come to our wedding!

Das Bus is not just a roving photo booth filled with fun props and flattering lighting — it is a journey to the land of friendship and memories and magic. The bus itself is stylish and impeccably kept, instantly rendering you, the host, fantastically hip. The owners of the bus are really friendly but also super professional, and can brand the pics from your party with any catchphrase, date, etc. Kate also hooked me up with the digital copies. Can’t recommend it enough — much more than a photo booth.

Das Bus came to a private housewarming party we were having. All the guests were seriously impressed with the set up, there were tons of costumes, hats and wigs to try on in the bus. The craftsmanship and woodwork is impeccable and the bus fit in a normal parking space in front of our house, so there was no hassle. Kate and John were very communicative, and they even created a personalized tagline on each printed photo strip free of charge. Seriously savvy marketing! It was truly the highlight of the evening, thank you for making the night so memorable. I would recommend Das Bus for any gathering!
