We believe the world needs a little more woohoo and a little less snoresville. Amazing fun for drunk people (and their designated drivers), birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, parties, conventions, holiday parties and just about anything else you can think of, we arrive early to roll out the red carpet as you shimmy, shake and mug for the camera in our innovative, open air photo booth.

History

Established in 2013.

Giggle and Riot Funbooths was created by the top notch wedding photographers at Milou and Olin Photography so that guests can have a non-​lame photo booth experience at events. Yup, our first event was a wedding! The whole idea is to reinvent the boring old photo booth concept using high powered studio lights, modern DSLR cameras, our sick sense of humor, top notch customer service, gobs of style, a little giggling and a lot of rioting. The result: a hilarious funbooth that’s as unique, supertastic and fun-​filled as you are!

The manager of Giggle and Riot, the one-​time firefighter now spends his (never spare) time playing ultimate Frisbee, enjoying sushi, building succulent walls, collecting fine wine and eco-​living. He wants to give the world a puppy, but little Chihuahua mix, Tito is rather attached to him. Now he rather fancies himself as the stylish Photo Booth king and has since then grew our services to include photobooths, Slow Mo Booths, Instagram Printers, Video Booths, Video Guest Books, Flipbooks and more! Met Jason at a senior dance in SF. Great customer service and stayed busy! Even the chaperones were joining the kids — the beauty of an open booth makes it more interactive. Greta props and was there super early. Highly recommend!

I shopped around a lot before settling on Giggle & Riot for our wedding. Once I found G&R though there was just no comparison. They had everything I wanted and so much more all for very reasonable prices — the sheer amount of options they have just blows all competition out of the water. The entire booking process is extremely easy — it’s all done via their online hub which makes things like payments, customizing your kit, and coordinating your event details simple and fast, which resulted in huge peace of mind on my end! The staff was both helpful and friendly (both over the phone, email, and in person).
And lastly, of course, the photos came out looking spectacular! The quality is great — we were given a USB drive at the end of the night with all of the photos and hosted an online gallery for our guests to order prints from. Seriously the best.

We hired Giggle and Riot for our wedding in November 2015 and it was a huge hit! Josh is so much fun and did a great job picking out fun and quirky props that helped our guests really let loose! We had Giggle & Riot at our wedding last weekend, and our guests had a blast. They were extremely easy to work with and were very responsive to all of our online communications and requests. The backdrop was beautiful and the props were great (although some guests did wish there were more props because of how much fun they were having at the photobooth). Dean, the attendant, was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Giggle & Riot for anyone’s wedding or special event!

Giggle and Riot was just perfect for my husband’s 70th birthday party! I had 50’s themed decorations and they brought props to match and Autumn was awesome working with all the guests. She was very accommodating and went the extra mile for our party.
The photos were great and everyone had a blast! I especially like having a flash drive so I can download the photos to my computer and the guests having access to them as well on Giggle & Riot’s website. Since several guests were classmates from high school, the photo booth provided the perfect solution to making sure everyone had photos together to take home.
I highly recommend them. I would hire them again. Hope their around for our 80th!

We hired giggle & riot at the last second for our wedding, only a couple months out. They were very accommodating, and a big hit. It was your pretty standard setup, and everyone liked having the photos to take home with them. The booth guys seemed a bit bored, but I can’t really blame them! They still got the job done, and the end result pictures are fun and good quality.

We recently hired giggle and riot for our wedding. We choose the flipbook booth, and it was a great success. They brought over a huge amount of props, and made custom signs for our wedding. The staff was friendly and outgoing which made our guest have an even better time.
They helped make our day a special one. Now we have a video to see how much fun our guests had too!

Giggle and Riot pretty much gave me exactly what I was looking for. From the very beginning their communication and professionalism was outstanding. They give information above and beyond what you would even think to ask.
The rep showed up with all the stuff he needed and didn’t need much direction from me as the event host. They gave us a good discount for being a charity event and they provided us with a disk of all the photos and a website to download them. The photo strips that print out are great too.
Don’t really have anything negative to say about this place. Great Work!

This is the second year that we have had Giggle & Riot’s photo booth at our Annual Fundraising Gala. It has been so much fun for all of our guests, as well as, our staff. Once again they have done an excellent job — they bring all of the props to make the photos festive and an add a playful twist to the evening.
Jason and the rest of the crew are terrific from start to finish… We highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again next year!

I contacted Giggle & Riot a few weeks before my big event. I was hosting an orientation for 220 teens and was interested in having a fun extra activity to keep everyone busy during down time. Boy– was it an excellent choice! The weeks leading up to my event were super easy, G&R contacted me via email about what kind of event I was hosting, and what my preferences were in terms of props and backgrounds. The survey that they sent out was so helpful and allowed me to share all of this stuff quickly via email.
On the day of the event, the service was excellent. They were prompt, set up without any disruptions to what I was doing and worked well with directing large groups of noisy teens (not everyone’s cup of tea!) The line for the photo booth was perpetually long for the entire event (because it was super popular, not because the photographer was slow). The props they brought were silly and creative and made for great photo ops. Afterwards I got a cool little video of everyone’s pictures and a digital copy of everything.
As for the set up and their equipment, everything was top of the line professional! The set up, background and video screen made my students feel like celebrities. Last year we went with a different photo booth company and their setup involved PVC pipes and tacky draping for the background. Not cool. I’m so happy that Giggle & Riot ended up at our event! They truly were the icing on the cake! THANK YOU GIGGLE AND RIOT! THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS LOVE YOU!

Giggle & Riot was a welcome addition to our annual Purim Carnival! We loved being able to select from the various backdrops and they brought a wide variety of fun props related to our theme. They worked with us to include a logo and event name on our photo strips, and the communication leading up to our event and afterwards was detailed and helpful. I knew what I needed to do and what they were handling. Having the ability to post to social media and getting a disc of images after the event is amazing!
My only constructive feedback would be for the attendant to better engage with the people at the event. He just stood there and didn’t try to get people to come over or promote the fun. For some, it was their first time at an event with a photo booth so they didn’t know what to do. Also, we had people of all ages so some direction about where to stand would have been helpful. In some cases, the kids were tiny specks at the bottom of the image and barely able to be seen.
Overall, we loved it and hope to have Giggle & Riot at future events! Wonderful company.

We used Giggle & Riot for a Bay Area Wedding Pros meet up and could not have been happier! Not only were the props amazing and so fun to play with, but the backdrop was perfect. Also, having the ability to email the photos to ourselves after made it easy to share on social media… and well isn’t that the point!
Caroline & Josh are super friendly, fun, and easy to work with! We totally will use them again and recommend them to anyone! Honestly, we loved the booth so much that we are planning another event in the next few weeks and are bringing them back!

I love these guys! We have had them out to four events since May, and they’ve always been amazing. They show up in plenty of time to set up, they get set up quickly and seem to know exactly what they’re doing. Most importantly they are great with our clients! Their communication is top notch and you will get lots of emails telling you what you need to do and what they are doing on your behalf.
My only piece of constructive feedback would be that if you are not someone who is comfortable doing everything online, it may turn out to be a bit more challenging for you. Their process is fully contained on the internet and it works really well. If you follow their step by step forms you should have no problem working your way through.
Don’t hesitate to hire Giggle and Riot. Small, local, enthusiastic, and excellent! What more could one ask for in a photo booth provider?

The Giggle and Riot photo booth was one of the highlights of my wedding. Guests has so much fun taking goofy pictures with all of their fun props and were able to take photos home.
Working with G&R was a breeze. I was able to pick out my backdrop and they even offered to custom make one if needed. They customized the photo booth props for the specific style of my wedding. They were easy to communicate with, punctual and organized. I would highly recommended Giggle and Riot photo booths for any event!

The Giggle & Riot team are FANTASTIC! They’re super fun, professional, and their open air photo booths are AMAZING. Our wedding guests had a blast photo bombing each other’s pics all night long, and it mads for super-​fun and memorable photos. They bring great and unique props, fun and eye-​catching backdrops, and oh yea, did I mention that they allow you to email and share your photos immediately during your event all over social media? Pretty nifty, and great people, to boot.
We also got the scrapbook option for our wedding in Calistoga, so Don, the attendant was able to pull copies of each photo strip and have people sign the book, on the spot. It’s a great keepsake, and I’m so happy that Giggle & Riot offered that option!
They seem to book up quickly, so make sure to book them (at least) a few months in advance from your event.

Giggle & Riot were incredible at our wedding and our guests loved them!
We booked Caroline as our wedding photographer (Milou & Olin) after meeting her in person (she felt like an old friend after our first meeting) and we decided to book her photo booth services as well. Josh was very responsive when we first inquired about the photo booth options and so much fun during the wedding!
The unique backdrop options (so many to choose from!), custom logo, creative props, and open photo booth format (our videographer could take videos of us having fun in the photo booth which was awesome!) were some of our favorite things about Giggle & Riot. We added the guest book option which I would highly recommend.
2 days after our wedding, we received an e-​mail with a link to our online gallery and video snapshot that was hilarious! We also received a DVD with all the photos in the mail. I would definitely book them again if I have the chance to plan an event in the future!

I am part of the Junior League of Sacramento and we just recently used their services for our Totally 80’s Crab Feed. Needless to say you add up a bunch of crab fed people, 80’s cover band and a bunch of fun props you get a GREAT set of photos.
From start to finish Giggle & Riot were excellent to work with. They had great communication, excellent correspondence prior to the event and when we were at the event they were SO MUCH FUN!
I am in LOVE with Giggle & Riot! The fact that their booth has so many options for backgrounds, props and then the ability to share your pictures instantly with social media outlets is AWESOME! I think I took about 20 photos that night with friends and shared them instantly!
I’m pretty sure the booth wasn’t empty ever that night. The photo strip prints within seconds of your photos being taken and you even get to have as many photos as you like with how many people are in the picture!
We are so very thankful for Josh and Giggle and Riot we hope we can partner with them again in the future!

After spotting Giggle & Riot at multiple ArtMix events at the Crocker, I finally tried them out at the CrockerCon event. I’m so glad I did! The guys running the booth were super friendly and encouraged us to have fun with the assorted funky props– which is perfect, because if I’m wearing a costume I’m in the mood to nerd out! You get three poses and afterward you enter an email address to have the photos and a link to the online gallery sent to you.
Just caught G&R again at a holiday party at LowBrau and this time, in addition to the direct email option, we also got souvenir photo printouts. SA-​WEET! Granted I’ve only ever encountered them when the photos are free but I’d seriously consider hiring them for whatever event I was throwing. Keep it up, Giggle & Riot, I always have fun when you’re around!
