I have had a horrible experience this week at this service department. My regular mechanic was busy, so I came to the dealer to have my XK8 diagnosed. Their quote to fix my car (with 45,565 miles) was $ 12,800.00!!! They said they do not repair transmissions, so they would have to put in a new one. That was one of the issues. The other issues were replacing hoses, heater valve, and thermostat. Then Marco told me that the car was not worth fixing! After recovering from the shock, I took the car to my regular mechanic who is doing all of the repairs for $ 1600! By the way the car does not need a new transmission, just a $ 275 sensor! I was conned by email advertising and signs at the dealer into thinking the dealer service dept. had competitive rates. WRONG!!!

I had a really great experience with my Service Advisor, Marco Palacios. He is always very responsive, and easy to reach via email or phone, and truly cares about providing the best customer experience! I never feel in the dark, dealing with Marco… I am always abreast of the status of my service request. Sometimes when I call him, he beats me to the punch, and calls me first. It made my experience being a RR Sport owner more pleasurable. He is the utmost professional. I would definitely consider leasing another land rover in the future because of him! :)

My wife recently took our XJ in on a warranty issue and was told that in addition to the covered repair, we also needed new brake pads and rotors, at a cost of over $ 800.00. We took the car to our regular mechanic, who looked behind the wheels with a mirror and said that the rotors appeared to be in good shape and that we really only needed new pads, although it would be a good idea to have the rotors turned when replacing the pads. The pads were ordered and the car dropped off a few days later. The next morning I received a call from my mechanic. After removing the wheels he found that my brake pads showed less than 50% wear and given my driving history, probably wouldn’t need to be replaced for another two years or so. Lesson here: Newport Beach Jaguar may be fine for repairs covered by warranty, but DON’T trust these people when they try to sell you additional repairs.

My Wife had an appointment set yesterday so she dropped the Car off early. She was in and out in no time with a Jaguar loaner, she made it to work on time. 24 hours later, she arrived at the Service center, got her Car back and again made it to work on time!!! Now that is great Customer Service in my. Book, five stars well deserved.
Since 2012 we have bought 3 new Range Rovers and an F-​Type and every single time we have returned for service JLR-​NPB have exceeded our expectations.
The other nice thing is if you make an appointment they will do Oil changes while you wait and the wait is never very long.

Been coming here for many years, no complaints. They have taken care of all three of my rovers with no issues. I could see how some could complain of the price, but well you’d have to expect that, i mean im driving a Range rover in Newport Beach!!! :)

I have been a Broadcast Executive for a long time and whether you are «rich» or not, is irrelevant, the Technicians are supposed to be the experts in these very expensive cars and they are supposed to their job, period. I paid 100K for a Range Rover that has had consistent Air Suspension problems that never gets diagnosed or fixed properly and then you end up paying thousands on unnecessary repairs at both Mission Viejo and Newport Beach. No surprises since both Dealers are under Pendragon, same owner. Case and point, I recently brought it in late January complaining of air leaking from the front of the car and the Air Suspension Alert lights going off and ultimately they said it needed an ABS Pump and the Modulator replaced for a discounted total of $ 3200 and checked the air suspension, which they said was fine and it passed the test. Fast forward a month or so later and I almost got into an accident with my son because the car was grinding and it had a hard time stopping even with me pressing on the brakes very hard. After bringing the car into Newport, they sent an email and stated that both Air Springs needed replacement and they were leaking air??? Really??? That is what I had brought in the car in the first place back in January??? It was on the invoice, in writing, in black & white??? And it took me almost getting into a major accident and needless to say that they sent me off after paying $ 3,200 in February and the car was a Huge Safety Hazard??? Additionally, I found out that only 1 of the Springs, the right one, needed replacement, as the left one was replaced in May 2014 — which case and point shows that they try to make money off of you by recommending or diagnosing repairs that don’t exist or are not necessary. This is completely unethical and unacceptable and whether you have deep pockets or not, they should proceed and conduct themselves with ethical and appropriate practices to all accordingly.

Just wanted a quick note regarding the amazing service we get from Jaguar Newport Beach. They continually exceed our expectations for Jaguar service. The customer service is exceptional. Sam Zuniga is our advisor and he honestly works so hard to make sure our car is taken care of. We have been bringing our car here for over a year and would not want to take it anywhere else!

i am always am greeted with smiles & great customer service here. there is a nice, clean waiting room with fantastic amenities. i will continue to bring my jag here for service. sam was especially nice, helping me with a key fob/​remote issue.

I have been taking my 2012 XJL to Jaguar Newport Beach Service Department since day 1 and for a few years, excellent care and quality repair service, I have owned a few other luxury makes over the years, best of best service experience I have ever had (as compared with other Jaguar and luxury makes service departments).
Last but not least, I am very pleased and happy with Marco Palacios, he is courteous and professional and takes good care of his customers, which makes my Jaguar ownership experience more spectacular.

RIP OFF! ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! NEVER RENT FROM ENTERPRISE RENTAL CAR that is affiliated with the Jaguar Service Department! Let me preface this by saying that both my husband and I are doctors and we own our own business. Customer service is of utmost importance to us. The Manager here, I forgot his name, stated the he does not care about customers. Apparently they do not because they are CONMEN!!! This location is affiliated with the Jaguar and Landrover Dealership in Newport Beach. We put our Jaguar in the service department and was referred here for the FREE RENTAL CAR while our car was in service. Well 2 weeks after we returned the rental car, our credit card was charged $ 132 for basic insurance that we never signed up for. Please do yourself a favor and never rent from the business again.

Sam Zuniga is the man. I had a sudden problem with my 2012 autobiography, where the radio got stuck in phone mode, and it was a piercing high pitch sound coming from the speakers. No matter what I did to the car, including turning it on and off, The sound simply kept on going. It was deafening.
Luckily, I was near the dealership, and drove it in. I had never been to this dealership before. I ran into the first office I found, and I met Sam. I explained to him quickly what was going on, and I let him know that I was heading to a meeting. I asked if there was anything he could do.
He immediately came outside, took a look at the car, and drove it to the back. You resurfaced 15 minutes later with the problem fixed. Apparently it was an amp issue.
While I understand the car is under warranty, and they would have repaired the car no matter what, I can’t say how much I appreciated the courtesy, the promptness, and the kindness of Sam. I live in the Los Angeles area, but I will be bringing my car to the dealership in Newport, as this kind of service is hard to find.

Thank you Marco P. for the wonderful service! You have been my service advisor since I bought my Rover 4 years ago. This past experience with you was over the top! Thank you for keeping me updated on my Rovers progress and the quick turn around…

Re-​revised to 5 star, Luke really was fantastic! I’m going to take a positive view and go with a «fluke» on the initial visit.
Revised review– on my way out the nice gentlemen who pulls cars up, etc encouraged me to speak with the manager, he noticed that I had been there for 2+ hours and seemed to be leaving irritated! So I spoke with with the manager who re-​assigned me to service advisor Luke he actually showed interest in His job! He and the manager went above and beyond to right the wrongs and totally took care of me and the issue at hand. Now I would hope this should be the norm but I’m not totally sold that the bad service was the fluke. We shall see in the future!
So a 0 star plus a 4 star gets a generous 3 star!
First review. 1 star-​Ever had people make you feel like you are bothering them when they are just doing their job? Ever feel like you are just being screwed without any regard, business as usually? If not pop in and visit!

I bought my 2010 Cooper clubman a year ago. I brought it in to have my spark plugs and coils replaced under warranty. Since then the car never ran right. I brought it in and the Service Writer could not determine the problem without me leaving the car. I tried to schedule an appointment to have this issue looked at and fixed. No return calls or a reply to my email request. Fast forward to yesterday. I took my Cooper to a shop here in SD and come to find out, Jaguar Newport Beach Service Dept. installed the «WRONG» Spark plugs! The plugs that were installed were for a Mercedes Benz. I could not believe after paying half of the warranty repair costs, they could do this. They have lost my trust and my business.

All of a sudden last week I had an issue with my power steering on my 2009 Range Rover HSE. I called over to the service department and the person that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. I drove over right away and the service adviser Marcos was the absolute best. He took my car in, arranged for my rental all while i was on a work phone call. They diagnosed the car, and he called me to review everything and explain in detail the recommended work order. Not one part of that phone call was a pushy sales guy trying to sell repairs to make commission… he was super polite. Picked my car up when it was done and I was in/​out fast. I would definitely recommend this service facility to anyone.

If you have enough money that it does not matter — I have absolutely no doubts that they can service and fix car’s.
Unfortunately my experience is one of a money making machine rather than a customer centric repair center.
My experience was of over $ 700 to diagnose a problem — which a third party specialist believed was impossible to diagnose based on the work they had carried out. This was followed by an estimate of close to $ 7000 to fix the car — which I subsequently had fixed for $ 2500 with the specialist again stating that 60% of what they had suggested did not need fixing. The car is now running like a dream again.
They will hide behind rate cards for work and CSI scores for customer satisfaction but my only advice would be to get a second opinion as it could literally save you thousands of dollars!

I am new to Jaguar, as I’ve come from BMW, Mercedes-​Benz, and Porsche before. I can say that hands down, I’ve never had the most friendly and genuine experience in a service department than I’ve had with Marco Palacios here at JLRNB Service. Other premium makes have provided good service, but its very obvious that they’re going through a scripted checklist and doing everything they can to get that «Customer Sat Score».
I have recommended Marco and JLRNB Service to 5 other Jaguar owners and they have had great experiences as well.

The banging is still continuing under the engine even though the service department stated they took care of it. I simply googled my car’s year and model to see if this was a common issue and it is.
Upon discovery the bushings may be the culprit of the noise, but when I reviewed my paperwork, they weren’t examined it looks like. I figured this out in less than 10 minutes and Jaguar Newport Beach had the car for a week, stating they couldn’t find where the noise was coming from. Now I’m stuck with the unsettling noise until I can bring into a dealer.

Recently took delivery of a 2015 F Type. Unfortunately one of the windshield washer squirters wasn’t working.
I’ve always been a Honda guy and would have fixed this on my own if it were a Honda. I rushed to get to the Newport Jaguar Land Rover Service Center right after work hoping to get there before they closed.
I got there by 545, 15 minutes before they close and the service manager Bennett greeted me. I explained to him the situation and he said he would see if he can get a tech to take a quick look at it. He pulls my car around back and 10 minutes later pulls around with my problem fixed! It turns out that a washer hose was pinched.
