Went back again and had another great experience! Great prices and very friendly, personalized service. This Avis location has definitely earned a loyal customer!

they offer moderately priced rental options near the airport. BUT they really need to clean up their fleets. all the cars that I’ve rented from this place smells bad and disgustingly sticky inside.
Wipe the car inside please. Whenever I rent a car, it’s always sticky dirty and dusty inside. Carwash means inside and outside. Not just pouring water outside.

A best place to rent a car, have been continually rented car from them since Jul, 2014, the Staff are super nice! Highly recommended !!!

I went to an interview which was suppose to be at 11am on APril 16, 2015 at the 4200 Campus Drive, Newport Beach, CA location. I arrived at 10:55am to an office that looked like it hasn’t been cleaned since the 90’s.
Inside I was greeted by someone who didn’t speak english and then waited 5 minutes for someone who bought me a chair and let me know the person would be right back for my interview. I can’t recall his name. So, I waited and waited and waited, no one asked if I was ok. 15 minutes went buy, 25 minutes went by and then the so-​called interviewer walked by at 11:30am and didn’t say anything. I then walked into the office where the lady whom bought me a chair and I said, «This is the most un-​professional company I have ever seen. An interview is no longer needed.» and she smiled and said «Thank You.» I then left!
For the record, I am desperate for employment, I was laid off 5 months ago and I still walked out. That should speak volumes! I would never work for this company and I will NEVER rent a car from Avis and will be warning all of my friends and family to avoid Avis like the plague.
May I suggest teaching these Avis employees proper business etiquette?

Get rental cars a lot of times here. Cause I’m under 21. I got a high price. But they gave me great discount~ really friendly guys!

This review is for the Avis off of SNA property but literally a 2 minute drive from SNA. Check here for awesome neighborhood deals that Avis sometimes runs.
This is not an airport location, so it takes much longer to get your car. I’m used to walking into an airport location and getting the keys within a few minutes (I’m a preferred member). I’m also a local, so I only use this when I’m driving long distance.
Employees were super nice, offered me an upgrade to a different car for a few extra dollars a day. Be aware that they only have 10 – 15 cars available at any time, so they may not have a huge SUV available. It doesn’t have the same fleet availability like an airport location.
If you see a good deal on a neighborhood rental, check this place out!
