Easy, quick, no hassle. Go to their site and get the $ 20 off coupon (or pull up on your cell or just mention it). Came in on my lunch break, took about 15 minutes from start-​to-​finish and cost me $ 58 bucks. No appointment needed. Like most places, they send the smog report directly to the DMV, but you also get a copy for your records. Located immediately off Campus by the John Wayne Airport — look for the big red ‘Copy 4 Less’ sign, and turn into the plaza.

Visited In N Out Smog again earlier this month, was in and out within about 30 mins (there were two customers ahead of me). I believe Ron was the service technician. He was very personable and professional. Overall I had another great experience :)

Ron was professional and quick. They have free wifi, the password is posted on the wall so you don’t have to bother. I mentioned that I had to pump the tires, Ron did it on the spot. Wasn’t expecting that! Great attitude, fast & easy. Pricing was fair.

Excellent place for a smog check. It was lunchtime on a Friday, no one in queue, my car was done in 5 mins. Nice little lounge with tv and magazines almost made me wish it took longer. Very friendly, relaxed, yet professional guy working. Check their website for coupons before you go, it can save you a lot of money. I paid $ 42 with electronic smog check certificate to DMV and a physical copy.

Took my ’97 Jeep Wrangler here to get smogged for the first time since purchasing the vehicle and my experience was a good one. Quick, friendly, efficient, honest, and reasonably priced smog services can be found here!
Had an issue with identifying my aftermarket K&N cold air intake system (CA state law requires an identifying sticker on the air cleaner) but AL helped solve this problem so I could legally pass my smog test. So thankful for that!
If you need to get your vehicle smogged look no further! Everything out the door with certificate was $ 58 bucks.

I read the reviews and even though this place is located a little out of the way from my home-​work commute I decided to give it a shot. I am glad I did! I can do nothing but echo everyone else’s comments and verify that the name of this place is spot-​on. You go in and out in no time! I decided to not even take a sit while waiting for my car, there really was no need! The whole process took 10 min top and Al is a super nice guy.
Like someone else recommended, I checked their website and found a coupon that I just showed Al on my phone. Totally recommended!

In heaven every business transaction is like a visit to In N Out Smog. No fuss, just drove up, handed the man my form, paid my money, and left. At some point in that 10 min. window a device made sure my car didn’t omit too much smog, at least I think that’s what happened, it was all so fast, I barely had time to read a text before I was asked to pay. The cost was a little more steep than I had anticipated ($ 75) but hell, for that level of service and promptness, just take my money, you deserve it!
Be warned this place is a little tricky to find, it’s not street front, it’s tucked back in a business complex next to a Copy-​4-​Less.

I was looking for a place to get my smog close to work. After a quick Unilocal I found In N Out smog. I called in the day before to make sure It’s not appointment only. You don’t need an appointment!
The shop opens at 8:30am. I got there around 8:15am. Al greeted me at the door, and was so awesome to start work early.
Al is unbelievable! Super nice & helpful. I can’t believe how fast he got everything done. I sat down for a second and it was done!
Hands down the best smog experience I’ve ever had. Definitely referring friends & family, and going back.

Woohoo! That was way easier than the 4 hours I spent at the DMV getting my license updated the week before.
Went in around 9 am last Friday, was out by 9:30. SUPER friendly guy. He didn’t stare me up and down and make me feel awkward like almost every oil change/​car wash place I’ve been to as well. So YAY. Bonus points there.
Was also a clean and very well-​run shop. Even though I was the only customer, he went through quickly and you could tell he was really trying to respect my time and that I probably had places to go. Will definitely be back for my next smog test.
