John is the best! You’ll get both smog test done and (if you pass) a registration sticker, which means you don’t have to go to DMV anymore. Even if you don’t need a smog test and just need a sticker, this place will take care of you. Super happy I found this place!

Really good and fast service here. Smog check was done within 10 minutes. I also got my registration, plates, and tags done here. Was very fast and easy. The registration cost a little more than doing it at the DMV, but saved a lot of time. I will come back here again for renewal.

I’ve been here twice now. Once last year and once this year to get my car registration renewed. The DMV has failed to mail it to me so this place is the next best option to waiting at the DMV.
John has helped me. He’s professional and quick. He gets to the point and doesn’t waste my time with small talk. He’s honest too. I asked him how much he makes from doing DMV services and he said it varies per type of service but it’s usually a $ 10-​$ 20 profit for him.
They do smog checks, car registration renewals, title transfers, and more. I hope I won’t have to come back to renew my car registration but if need be, I know where to go. I’ve only spent a total of 4 mins, that’s 2 mins for each of the two visits I’ve made.

I called a couple places closer to me (Irvine) to get a smog on the weekend and these guys were one of the only ones near Irvine and open. One place was open and closer, but they said their machine was broken and needed to be repaired.
I sold my SL Benz and had to get a quick smog since the guy was coming that same day to pick it up.

Pros:
— super fast service. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes even though the waiting room was full when I arrived (thought I would be there forever just based on that!)

— when they were done, they parked my car by the door, in the shade with the window rolled down so I wouldn’t be hot when I got in. Nice touch.,
— here is the biggest thing for me — they didn’t move my seat. You know how you lift/​lower/​move your seat a billion times to find the absolutely perfect fit? Well, my seat was exactly as I left it when I got into my car. THANK YOU!!!

Cons:
— the parking lot sucks. There are so many businesses crammed in there and very few parking spaces. I had to circle around twice and stalk someone walking to their car to find a spot (it was the last one in the entire lot)

Great services! Call for appointment and they can smog your car and do the auto registration at the same time. They can issued my tag, registration card, and license plate right away. John also put the new license plate in my car, it made my day easy and painless this is the only shop in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, A One Stop Shopping. We dropped by today from a really quick Unilocal search, since we were in the area and was trying to see if there were any good smog-​check places opened on a Sunday. Sure enough, there was, a couple of minutes away from where we were.
It was REALLY quick, 10 minutes tops, and that 10 minutes flew by! There was a $ 10-​off coupon on their website, and we didn’t know if we needed to print it. I asked about it, and sure enough, $ 10 off! The pricing was comparable from where we went last year in Santa Ana. GREAT service, VERY quick, and they’ve just started opening on Sundays 3 weeks ago! HIGHLY recommended if you’re in the area and need a smog check!
