This dog run is a nice size. Not the biggest I’ve seen and definitely not the smallest. There isn’t a separate run for smaller dogs so all dogs play together. There are 2 doggy pools with a constant flow of water coming from a hose to keep the dogs cool on warmer days. There is sufficient seating for the human visitors along the perimeter of the park. The restaurant next door PD Hurley’s provided nice music for their guests, which also entertained the dog run guests, so that’s a plus. There’s also a nice view of the Intrepid and the Circle Line. It’s close to home, so I would definitely visit often.

My pup’s so smart that he knows where this park is even though we live a good distance away. They have a kiddie pool and running water, so that’s nice. people do rinse off the poop and the park maintenance crew do clean it up and santize it at night. It’s kind of annoying when you have tourists and hecklers trying to call your dog and tease them though, but overall I think my dog gives it 4 paws up!

Decent little dog run, with the one of the best views of the Intrepid. Things it has going for it: — Great fencing and gates — Great view of the Intrepid — Hose for dogs — Adequate shade — Plenty of seating Things it has going against it: — No separate large and small dog runs, just one dog run — No dedicated dog drinking fountain — No poop bags provided — Gets windy — No parking — Asphalt ground cover can get hot in warmer months — Could be bigger Add a small dog run(they have the space right next to it and it is already fenced) and this is a 3 star dog run, also add a dedicated dog drinking fountain to both dog runs, poop bags and either paint the asphalt a lighter color or add more shade and this is a 4 star dog run. Dog runs/parks I have been to so far:
