There are two dog runs near 72nd St. in Riverside Park. This dog run is located under Henry Hudson Parkway and the entrance is down the steps, to the left around a playfield. Since it’s closest to the river, I hoped it would have a nice setting. But it was kinda scary and no one was there. It was already dusk on a clear day when I checked it out, but I don’t think that’s the only reason it was empty since the other dog run had a number of people. My unfiltered photo looks brighter than it was in real life.
It looked like one large area with wood chips and dirt fill. Seating is limited with only 2 or 3 benches. All this combined doesn’t make this run one that I’ll probably go back to.
