In 1972 I went to work for the Ventura County Agricultural Dept.

I attended college with a major in Agronomy and pest management working my way up to inspector biologists.

In 1978 the dept staff was reduced by 30% do to budget cuts.

I worked as a landscape Pest control supervisor contracting with the Los Angeles Arboretum and the City of Camarillo.

I decided in 1984 to start the Bug Mechanic Pest control in Ventura County.

My goal has always been to keep us as a Small family owned Business to provide expert personalized service at a fair price. Today we are still a family owned and operated business.
