DON’T EVENTRYCOMINGBECAUSETHEDOORISNEVEROPEN. I have attempted to come here 3 times just to get my watch’s battery changed, and all three times the place has been closed. Hours say 12 – 7 on Mondays? I came at nearly 12:20 and no signs of life inside. 10 – 6:30 Tu-Sat? Nope, try again. Once I came in the middle of their opening hours and there was a sign on the door saying«be back in 5 minutes» so I waited a good 10 at the Jamba Juice next door but nothing.

Should not cost $ 11 to change a simple battery in a watch. I didn’t even buy my watch for that much. Went else where and got it done for $ 5. Rip off.

The selection of watches and jewelry is small, but the repair service here is excellent. I recently took an old Casio to have a strap fixed. The watch works perfectly(I paid a pretty penny for it back in the day), but one of the plastic fasteners that connects the watch to the strap had broken. I couldn’t find the parts online and Casio doesn’t make replacement bands for my style of watch anymore. The folks at R&R called around and were able to locate an outlet that still carried the fasteners. It took a couple of weeks, but my watch was fixed! For $ 14! Way less than a price of a new one! If you’re looking for diligent service, this is a great place.

Have to first say, Robert is a really nice guy. Makes you feel comfortable and does not try to sell you any BS. I have been going to Robert since 2000, mostly for battery replacements and watch adjustments. Never once have I felt he is to expensive or felt ripped off. I pay for good service and Robert delivers. Sure the jewelry selection may not be like other large name stores but his prices are good if not better from what I have seen. Give him a try, I believe he is closed Monday’s you may to double check. As for the person giving 1 star, really? Was it so horrible that he made small talk? Either way, I have always been happy going there. Give him a try.

This shop saved my life! Well, not literally… but I was in dire need of a specialized battery(for my car’s keyless remote) and luckily, R&R’s had just the battery(CR-1632) I needed! I can’t comment on the watch repair, but I do know this shop has a big selection of various specialized batteries if you’re ever in need.

I have been going to R&R for years and haveing Robert work on my Bling. Not just for«watch band» adjustments but to have my expensive watches serviced and/or repaired. Rolex, Panerai and Ball. Always good service. I have also had him modify some of my hot rod watches like changing out stock Seiko diver dial and hands to a Bill Yao dial set with Polinger hands. Perfect work. I might also add that Robert will do this and considers it fun ! I used to go to another watch guy and I would have to beg him to do something like this. I think the cost for that job was 100.00. A bargin. Robert is an old school watch maker not just a repair man. He has extensive training in the art. He is also a good jewelry repair man as well. I have had rings rebuilt; one that lost a diamond that fell out. The repair was repairing a crack in the setting, new prongs and a new stone for one of my wifes rings. I recommend this R&R Jewelry Watch.

This store only carries a small selection of jewelry, however, the real service here is general watch repairs. Quick, reliable service while you wait at reasonable prices.

I used to live within walking distance to this jewelry/watch repair store. They’ve got a small display of lower bracketed brand name watches(think casio) and jewelry. I was never very impressed with their selection, but, I guess it’s not really important. The only times I’ve come are for watch strap adjustments(removal of links etc) and battery replacement. It’s usually about $ 10 or so for batteries, which I gladly pay for convenience sake(walking distance, folks!) But the reason for the one star, folks… is because the last time I was here– to shorten my watch… he very undiplomatically put me on the spot. As you know, to get your watch shortened is a relatively simple process, and most businesses either do it for free(if you buy your watch there) or charge a very nominal fee, think somewhere in the vicinity of $ 5 or so. Well when I asked how much do I owe, with a smile, he stalls… he shifts… then plays it cool… «how much do you THINK the service is worth» Whoa… what? I’m sorry? How should I know what it’s worth? Why are you even asking me. I asked him to repeat himself, he did, this time with some attitude. «just pay me what you think it’s worth» –with an arrogant shrug of the shoulders. OMG. Put me on the spot. I smile out of sheer nervousness, I’m asian, and don’t like to pay extra usually, heheh. Asked him again for the usual price of these types of things. He shrugs again, this time lifting both hands as to say, you’re on your own. Extremely unsettled, and a little bit pissed-I dropped a $ 10 and left the store. I promise I will NEVER be back. Not if you were the last watch repairman on earth. Oh, this guy’s soooo cocky… he was making small talk while shortening my links and said that one guy comes all the way from vegas to get him to fix his watch… he’s that good… um… ok, if you say so buddy.
