I am damn afraid of dentists but Dr. Htun helped me get rid of my fears. His treatment at the clinic was painless. He also gave an honest opinion about what I should do to fix my teeth problems. Overall I highly recommend him.

I visited the office for the first time by appointment because my tooth filling came out. Dr. Htun did not do anything except looking at my teeth and said it’s going to take time to do the filling as his next pt waiting and asked me to reschedule for the filling even though I insisted to do right there and then. When I tried to reschedule with his assistance, she told me I have to pay out of pocket $ 180 even though I have the dental insurance. That’s why I made another appointment with Dr.Htun. A couple of week later, I received the bill from Dr. Htun office charging me for emergency dental treatment for pain, which I did not have any pain at all, just need the filling, and no service done at that time. That’s totally insurance FRAUD, waste of my time and money. BE AWARE!!!

This is my first time coming to this dental office and I am really impressed. I have the teeth cleaned by Marilyn and she is extremely gentle and thorough. I have my teeth cleaned at other location before. I have to say I will give Marilyn 5 star compared to all others. I also have a consultation with Dr. Htun himself. He speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. He seems nice. We agreed on some procedures and now I am waiting for my estimates. I have a good feeling about this place. It is super clean, neat, the front office lady is nice and kind. I cannot wait to have my deep cleaning done at this place.

Oh wow! I’m super impressed with Dr. Htun! I never thought that getting 3 injections on my gum can be painless experience. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and apparently has ninja-​like injection skill. I think I found my dentist. Thank you so much!

My whole family has been going to see Dr. Htun since I’ve been in elementary school and I’ve had no complaints or issues with him. The receptionist is polite, well mannered and very patient. I’ve never had to wait past my appointment time. My bi-​annual cleanings would always be done very quickly and smoothly. He always did a great job every time! Not only is he very professional and skillful, but as a person he is also very nice and respectful toward his patients. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or family!

Iv been living in Milpitas for four years now and even after seeing other dentist nothing is like this one great friendly staff and a great dentist. Mr William is always great with his work and advice, I would highly recommend this place.

Dr. Htun is great. I’ve always had a positive experience here. Dr. Htun and his staff are extremely friendly. He does his best to make sure that you are comfortable. He works fast and I appreciate how upfront he is about your dental hygiene. I would definitely recommend him!

I don’t like to do reviews simply because most people already mention what’s good and bad. BUT this dentistry is beyond worthy of me telling you how good it is!!!
The receptionist lady is pretty nice and so is the hygienist. Everyone made me feel welcomed and feel at ease.
They went over all the procedures and billing info and options to make sure I understand everything and if I like to receive the treatment here or not.
They even took extra steps necessary for my heart murmur by calling and asking my doctor if it’s alright to do cleaning.
Finally I got to see Dr. William Htun. My first time ever having deep cleaning and Dr. Htun did a great job on it!!! Very professional yet comforting and not intimidating.

Great overall experience. Dr. Htun is a real pro who always looks out for patients best interest.
Appointments are very punctual and start on time. Staff is very friendly.
Recommended for general dentistry though he can also help with cosmetics and the like.

Dr. Htun treated me and my husband more than 5 yrs now. We were so happy to know him and his staffs. His clinic was clean and updated well. His employees were friendly and nice all the time.
I had old retainers; finally, wire was broken.
Went to his clinic and new retainers came only few days waits during holidays time.
It was fast to get compared to previous clinic in san francisco that i was used to go.
Dr. Htun spent enough time to adjust my new retainers and it fit perfect.
Now, I am wearing every night.
He explained well how to wear and to take out. Then how to clean too
His treatment is gentle all the time; the best for youth and adults who have sensitive teeth and gums.

I been a client with William H. And his team over a decade now and it’s been good experience every visit. Recently I switched my kids from another dentist and both kids both love it too

Came here for an exam, cleaning and x-​rays. Only $ 99 without insurance which is a great price! They were able to fit me in the day I called which was amazing because it was a Saturday. Prices are very reasonable. Just over $ 250 for 2 cavities and they only charge $ 875 for Veneers which is a really good price. Usually they are at least $ 1000 per tooth. The dentist was very nice, the cleaning was painless and I got to watch The Food Network while my teeth were being cleaned! I plan to bring my 2 year old here soon and sending my husband too.
The only thing you may want to take note of is that if you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, they will charge you a $ 50 fee. So make sure you can make your appointment before you commit!

I can’t recall the last time I seen a dentist before Dr. Htun. Making an appointment to see a dentist isn’t a main priority when you don’t have any health insurance and everything has to come out of pocket. Oh the dilemma… But oh well.
But this week I’ve been having a really annoying toothache. Dr. Htun and his assistant Kim was all that I could ask for if not more! They were able to squeeze me in to determine what was wrong. May I add that day was especially busy for them. Dr. Htun asked me to come back the same day for my cleaning since it was my only day off this week and he stayed after hours to do so for me. Kim, his lovely assistant also gave me a nice little discount. Anyway I can save for the holidays is always a plus! I was extremely grateful for their help and treating me like family went beyond my expectations. Dr. Htun will definitely be my go to dentist from here on out. He should be yours too.

Dr. Htun is the absolute best! Going to the dentist, in the past, was always a chore — and something I would likely cancel if I had good reason (or any reason…). However, upon moving to the area, I stumbled upon Dr. Htun’s Unilocal reviews and honestly — I’ve never had a better dentist. He, as well as his assistant, Kim, are not only amazingly kind, they are considerate of your schedule. I’m in my first year in law school, and I hardly have time to do much of anything. However, they kindly fit me in at 7am — before my classes start for the day.
Their office is also beautiful. I love that they also have Food Network on in the morning so I can catch a show as I get my teeth cleaned. Again, it’s a pleasure.
I literally would not go anywhere else, and have recommended all of my friends, looking for a dentist, to head right to Dr. Htun.

This is better than other dental offices I’ve been to, because other than telling me where I have cavities on x-​ray sheet from a distance, Dr. Htun shows it to me on a monitor and zooms in showing me clearly how it is on my cavity tooth.
Great up to date technology, no need to even get up to rinse my mouth during my cleaning, all done laying on the chair.

My aunt is a dental assistant, and she was the one who recommended me to Dr. William Htun. I don’t even remember how long I have been going to his office, all I can say is it’s been years, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great dentist.
I think the biggest thing I can say for him is that he works quickly, but carefully, and he checks with you every now and than to make sure your not in any pain. He’s also very careful about using the numbing agent in you mouth. He gives you just enough so you don’t feel pain, but not too much where you would have to wait hours after the visit for it to wear off.
He’s also a very cautious and clean dentist. He gives you medicine to take before an appointment that just makes sure you don’t run the risk of getting an infection from the visit. He gives you these shaded safety glasses to wear so the overhead light that all dentists uses do not hurt your eyes. When taking an X-​ray, his assistant Kim, placed a lead collar around my neck in addition to the lead vest, just very super cautious.
I think the biggest thing for me is that he makes sure that he doesn’t use your chest as a tool tray. I had a dentist previously who end up leaving two or three different tools on my chest rather than put it back on his tray, and those tools actually have enough weight to them that it makes you pretty uncomfortable while he works on your teeth, Dr. Htun doesn’t do that, every tools he uses he puts it back on his tray before going to a different one.
His office is really nice, very comfortable atmosphere. Magazines of all different kinds to occupy you in the waiting room, and flat screen TVs mounted on the walls in front of each chair (usually tuned into Food Network, probably the only time you’ll ever watch it and not feel hungry).
Both Dr. Htun and his assistant Kim are always nice and full of energy.
I think about the only con that I can think of is that he doesn’t perform extractions of a tooth. But he does refer you to someone who will. Other than that, Dr. Htun is very good at what he does!

I’m so glad I found Dr. William Htun. After leaving college (and not taking care of my teeth for many, many years), my teeth had gotten so rotten that every dentist I went to pretty much told me I was hopeless. The last dentist I went to before Dr. Htun told me that I needed 4 root canals (and more than a dozen fillings) even though I had no pain. I ended up getting 3 root canals on the same day, and it made me so miserable that I went on a hunt for a new dentist. Luckily, a friend recommended Dr. Htun. Dr. Htun never once made me feel like my teeth were beyond hope. He managed to patch up my teeth well enough that I haven’t had any major teeth problems for 3 years.
I drive 30 minutes from south San Jose to Miltipas (up to an hour in traffic) to go get my teeth checked every 3 months, and it’s totally worth it. How many people do you know like their dentist that much? I’ve seen Dr. Hutn interact with many of his patients, and he always treats everyone like family. I don’t make recommendations very often, but I definitely would recommend Dr. Htun to anyone looking for a dentist.

Stopped in today and everyone there was a helpful. I had a root canal that I didn’t feel being worked on. I watched some television on one of the many TV’s for each dental station. Great spot. I’ll be going back until all my chompers are up to par.
