Business Owner

PuppyPal was started by Taryn Harada, a veteran dog owner and dog lover. Dogs are her passion. She has owned dogs since she was a little girl in Honolulu, Hawaii, and currently has two of her own in Milpitas, California. Taryn is an active volunteer at the Peninsula Humane Society in San Mateo where she socializes, trains and walks puppies that are waiting to be adopted.

She truly believes in rescuing a puppy before purchasing one through a breeder because there are just too many dogs waiting for forever homes in local shelters. For this reason, Taryn has decided to donate a portion of her proceeds from every dog walk and grooming session to a local animal shelter to help facilitate the process of adoption.

Taryn received her commercial dog walking certificate through Prosh Pets in San Francisco. She is also pet CPR and first aid certified through Pet Tech, and is fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates.
