Such great service!!! Brought my doggy for the first time months ago and has been happy with their amazing crew and service ever since. I have used various pet care places but nothing compares with the great options like, day care, grooming and long term stay that K&K has to offer. All I know is that my doggie is always excited when he comes back to stay and looks amazing and happy when I come back to pick him up! Location is great, right in Brickell with easy access and street parking/​pickup. in the morning I am always greeted by Franklin and my doggy loves him! The rest of the staff is always friendly and always attentive to any of «our» needs. Prices are fair considering the value that they offer.

All I can say is… Just Amazing!!! From the quality hair cuts, to the caring staff and the dedication they have with my Mini Schnauzer Chuck. I can’t rave more highly about this fine Pet Boutique. I also love that they’re conveniently located in Brickell. The staff is very personable and they really take care of my little guy, which really shows as he is so happy to spend his days at their daycare. Chuck loves Franklyn so much — hugs and kisses him as soon as he walks in to the shop. I’ve been nothing but extremely happy with their services… now my puppy has a nice home away from home when I’m away or while at work. Additionally, the groomer is so detailed as my dog’s coat is white and the Schnauzer breed has very sensitive skin, they use only high quality products and he comes out looking extra white and with an elegant haircut!!! I highly recommend their pet grooming and boarding services.

I have a 6lb miniature wire haired dachshund called Truman. He is my best friend… but can be a little skittish around people he doesn’t know. Given my wife and I travel a lot we often board him (mostly 1 day, sometimes overnight and for as long as a week) with the gang at Kool and Kute. He LOVES the place… His tail starts wagging as soon as he arrives, and he will often run back to the carers when I come to pick him up. Makes me feel better about leaving the little guy as I know he is happy. Maybe a tad expensive, but right next to our apartment… So haven’t bothered to shop around. Very happy.

Gave it too many chances!
We have taken our miniature pinscher here many times for day care and/​or grooming. With day care, which seems to be simply putting the dog into the same pen as the dogs that have finished with grooming, we were never sure if or how often the dog was walked (based on his bathroom needs immediately upon getting picked up.) With the grooming, each time I got a different price. The most expensive had been $ 45, but when I questioned that I was told the price included the extra care of day care that day. I had requested that, so I understood and paid. Today, I dropped off the dog for grooming only, picked him back up within an hour or so, and was again charged $ 45. Although I can’t compare that price to others in the neighborhood, it is about twice what I have paid at any other grooming place. The woman in charge («owner») ultimately backed off on the price and dropped it to $ 35. I hope it was worth it to them to lose someone who, while not a weekly customer, was a regular customer. In my opinion, it’s not a pet place — it’s a greed emporium.

I have taken my dog here several times and each time I have been more disappointed when I pick her up. The first time they practically shaved off all her hair when I specifically said to TRIM her body. The second time I picked her up I was charged FULL PRICE for a full body cut & wash when I simply asked them to give her face a haircut, since she had recently been spayed she couldn’t be washed. They also have a cute new sign that reads «New year, New prices. $ 5 increases in prices» No thanks. Very dissatisfied. Save your money and take your pet elsewhere.

This place is awful, and should be shut down. I am sad their convenience to the growing Brickell market will keep them in business despite their complete lack of care of animals. I was a loyal customer from the start. Grooming my rescue dogs mainly on weekends. Today was the first time I dropped off for grooming before work, at 8am, picking up at 6pm. After collecting them, my 2 newly cleaned dogs both soiled the car on the 2 minute ride home, and drank water upon arrival home as I’ve never seen before. It was obvious they were not walked or offered water during the 10 hours they were left for grooming. I complained immediately, and was told by the owner that this ‘extra’ service of relief walks and water would have required an extra day care fee. I would have paid the extra fee had I known. But I think this is reprehensible. Anybody who even cares just a little about dogs would offer them relief and water just to give them comfort. I’m disgusted.

Seriously, I couldn’t be more upset with this place. My dogs don’t fear anything, they left here shaking. I thought, eh no big deal, they must have not enjoyed the belly shave. They also seem to be cut really close around there eyes. After a few days, my Yorkie seems to have an eye infection. I need to bring him to the very first thing in the morning. I’m irate at this place right now. Not only are my dogs unhappy when they leave, but now my baby boy may have an eye infection. I will explode on them if it’s anything worse than some eye drops. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG.

I must say I haven’t had that terrible as an experience as some of the people who have come here but not much better either. I have a 9 year old yorkie that has a puppy cut (very simple right?) I asked them to trim the beard because it was extremely long and trip him up all around. Well I came back the beard still looked the same, so I very politely asked the owner to please cut more and asked her to please dry his mouth area since he gets a little drooly when he waits a while at the groomers. Well she didn’t really mind the comment about cutting more of the beard but I could have sworn she roller her eyes when I asked her to dry his mouth area and took him quickly. Also this cut was already $ 50 did not even include a teeth brushing and they proceeded to charge me extra for mats, which I can tell you there was not much matting. Any way he also did not look so great after a $ 50 groom.
Since I had the attitude I didn’t feel like being there much longer so I left, upon inspection at home I found that they had not or barely touched the legs, the hair was much longer than the body (not an expert groomer but that doesn’t seem right on a puppy cut). The little butt area was barely trimmed down or not at all. I don’t know it just seems like a lot of money to have a half done job and get attitude by the owner!
The only reason I give 2 stars is because the place was nice and clean, and when I called to complain about his long hair the next day a very nice lady Eliana, was very polite and told me to come right in and she would take care of it. She did a good job after that and seemed very kind. Unfortunately with an owner like that I don’t see myself stopping by again.

I take my dog here but I don’t absolutely
LOVe the way they treat dogs. I wish they were more loving and sweet and less about business. Sadly this is one of the few places in brickell within walking distance.

I usually go to petsmart but they didn’t hv availability so I decided to give this super convenient location a try that’s 5 mins from me. It was great. She even gave me tips on how to not cut a certain. Part of hair to result in a better teddy best cut for my teacup poodle :) she also gave me a small amount of ointment for his eyes to taught me how to better eliminate the odor around the eyes from the tears that poodles get a lot. I’ll be bringing him again this weekend n hope they will do the same good cut and service thx

So usually I take my little Terrier mix to Petsmart. Today, however, they didn’t have any availability so I decided to mosey on over to Kool & Kute down the block from my apartment. They did an average job… I’d give them 3.5 stars of I could. Since she’s a terrier mix, there isn’t much to her cut, other than shave her body and trim her face, so it’s not a «rocket science» type of job… they gave her a cute little bedazzled pink ribbon collar, which I thought was a nice touch. Staff was friendly. A little pricey, but that’s Brickell for ya. I wasn’t too impressed by the dark grey schnauzer they had sitting leash-​less on the bench. It growled at my little girl a few times and she’s already a very skittish dog, so I wasn’t thrilled that this schnauzer added to her nervousness, but he (or she) stayed in its place and didn’t cause any more trouble than that, so I won’t fault them too much for that. Dogs will be dogs.
Overall, decent job. I might be back if my usual place can’t take my pup on any given day… especially since this place is so incredibly convenient to go to and they took my pooch the same day I called.

Aside from being VERY close to home, they are one of the few places that bathe and shave my 27lb cat (yes — you read that correctly). They do an amazing job on him; he’s never stressed out arriving or leaving there and never has any cuts. This place is great.

Great service and only a block from my condo. I recently moved here from Southern California and was worried after reading some of the reviews but luckily I had a great experience. My cat always looks fabulous after her bath and shave and she seems happier then ever. They also always fit me in even on busy days. Highly recommended!

This place couldn’t be described any more perfectly as the reviews above. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE BUBONIC PLAGUE!
Reasons:
1) my little dog, Rusty, would come home every other time with small «postillas» or «mini-​scabs» on his skin by his stomach and top of the body. I should have put two and two together and realized it was this place!!!
2) their «receipts» for «gift cards» are unclear and completely one-​sided! They do not provide a proper breakdown for pre-​paid day care services. I try to be convenient and Pay $ 200 ahead of time but if you are not ON TOP of it, they will add things to the gift card you never even ordered! (which leads me to my next point on why I will never bring my kids here again)
3) on Thursday April 25^th, 2013, I was «fortunate» enough to rescue a small 5 week old abandoned puppy from the Corporate Run, taking place in downtown Miami. The poor puppy spent the night in my home until we searched for the perfect new home.
THe next morning, I ask Kool n kute owner if she knew anyone that would be interested in the dog to please let me know. I would like to give the puppy to a perfect home in which she will be loved forever. She said she knew of someone and she immediately grabbed the puppy from my arms and said I’ll ask the person if she wants it and let you know. I responded, «perfect! i’ll be back around 2pm to pickup the puppy because i’m taking her to get treated by a vet.» (this DOES NOT CONFIRM that the person in which she speaks of will be taking in the puppy since I, nor my husband have spoken to this new «candidate») Turns out, throughout the day, over 1,000 people online have learned about this famous «corporate run abandoned puppy» and we end up conducting interviews throughout the day and confirming an extremely motivated couple ready to become the new owners of this puppy! What do I think? perfect! let me give the puppy to this couple! They were very eager and texted me ALL DAY LONG, «how is my baby girl?» «send me pictures» «i’ll be there in 2 hours to pick her up…» very motivated messages confirmed that the «corporate run rescue pup» now is officially «TAKEN!»
could you believe that the Kool Kute owner actually got upset and aggressive with me over the phone? she was so angry over the phone that I «gave away the dog!!!» really?
well, because she was so SPITEFUL, she ended up charging my husband the money for extra things that she originally was not going to charge me for and she added it to the «gift» card… ALL VERY SHADY STUFF.
4) the most ALARMING REASON why i would NEVER BRING MY KIDS BACK TO THIS LOCATION: On Friday April 26, 2013, at 9:00 am, I walk through the doors to drop off my two dogs again for day care… NO ONE WAS IN THE STORE!!! for almost 10 minutes, those poor dogs, were inside Kool n kute completely UNATTENDED! There were even TWO dogs strapped by the neck for grooming barking hysterically on the table and they were completely unattended! WHAT IF THESE DOGS decide to jump off the table? Their little necks will be snapped!!! THE OWNER LEFT THE SHOP AND ALL THE LITTLE FUR BABIES COMPLETELY UNATTENDED! THIS IS THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG WITH THIS COMPANY! The «supposed» owner was outside walking the dog and she finally walked back in front of the store, right on coral way, and said, «oh I had just stepped out for a quick second to walk the dog.» (I FREAKED OUT IN SILENCE… I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT SHE LEFT THE FRONT DOOR UNLOCKED AND LEFT THOSE BABIES INSIDE ALONE! she never even acknlowledged that she saw me initially walk through the door. meaning, she wasn’t alert on WHO were walking in and out of the shop, nor was she keeping track of the conditions inside the shop on the two strapped dogs on the grooming table. I FEEL LIKE ANYONE CAN WALK IN HERE AND STEAL A DOG OR A PRODUCT!
5) twice my dog almost ran out into the street because they are not aware the front door stays open after people leave their facility… That’s crazy!
Later, I learned that who I thought was the «owner» was not really the «owner».
some lady came out from the back dressed as if she looked like she was a bum on the street with the dirtiest gloves in her hand and she came to tell us «off»… wow! she should have introduced herself, apologized for her «appearance» and remove her dirty glove and shake our hands and ask us POLITELY if there is anything she can do to help.
6) they advertise their day care fees as $ 20 for a single day and on the brochure they say PACKAGE OF 5 days $ 15/​per day.
We never even addressed this issue, but we noticed afterwards that they are very shady about this. Nowhere on the post card price list does it say that it has to be «consecutive» days. We only took our dog 5 times and that was ENOUGH!!! never again!
I FEEL LIKE THESE PEOPLE ARE RUNNING AN EXTREMELY SHADY BUSINESS.
Please look for other places to entrust your furbabies to. Do not RISK your dogs to these people.

We’ve been going since they opened. They always give our yorkie the best cuts! We always get compliments about his cut. Plus, they usually have same day appointments which are great.

Avoid this place as if it were the bubonic plague. My dog is older and has been to numerous groomers without a problem. This is the ONLY place where he came out trembling, skittish, and noticeably stressed. Upon closer inspection they cut his hair to close to his skin on his underbelly which left it raw and he was limping. He was TRAUMATIZED. He wouldn’t eat, leave his bed, or even sleep for the next couple of days so I brought him to the vet who said that the groomers probably handled him a bit roughly and he must have pulled a muscle. It was by far the worst grooming experience.
If you’re looking for a place to groom your dog, PetSmart is a great place. You’ll be paying around the same price, but you’ll have amazing service.

Great place and great people, very clean and nice, they use music to relax the pets. I took my pet for the first time and at the beginning is difficult cause is estrange people but it was the greatest experience for me and Lia (my pet) When I went to pick her she didn’t want to go, so that’s the best prove that they treat pets very good; they are very sweet and friendly with them so that’s important. The price are very good for the service.
Replaying to Davina, when you take your pet to have the grooming for the first times it’s a little stressful for them so don’t be so possessive and don’t get disappointed because that’s kind of normal on the other hand all that you say seems like a totally different place, are you sure that is the place that we all talk?
PS THE BEST PLEACE ARROUND TO TAKE YOUR PET!!!

Great people, they’ve helped out my dog a few times with grooming. Speaking spanish is helpful so be warned.
Prices are decent, people are nice and I can walk there. All around 5 stars. The dog isn’t even scared when we leave.

Great Place! I have a Yorkie Puppy (7 months old) and he loves this place! Great service! they are very friendly and nice and have great experience ask for Pablo… The boarding service (hotel) is very convenient when I travel. Last, being in Brickell the parking is not a problem, they valet.

My review will have to be a bit one sided as it was the first time I took my Yorkie puppy to the groomers. I scoped out the place before I handed my little pup to these strange people. The place was clean and there were around 10 dogs there either being groomed or boarding.
When i saw my Cookie… Let’s just say I was way disappointed. She was shaking (probably because someone just pried inside her butt). EEEWWWW!
Normally, I bathe her once a week at home. Her hair is soft and luxurious afterwards. Here, the hair felt much coarser and did not shine at all. The smell of her was less than satisfying. And to top it off, I think they may have cut the body coat even though I told them not to.
They did do a nice job of cleaning up her face area; now she can see! I’d like to find a place that specializes in Yorkies.
